No word of a lie.

Every morning, when I wake up, I have a strange, blood-colored stain on my shirt. There's nothing remotely nearby that's this color, and it's always around my midsection. It just seems like every morning when I wake up, I wake up with some kind of bloody stain on my shirt. The spots can be anywhere between the size of a fingertip and the size of a fist. I don't have any cuts or anything that could be construed as a cut on my torso, and they're always in front of my shirt, which I always check to see if any of the previously mentioned are present. So far, nothing.

So why do I keep waking up with blood on my shirt?

Johnathan: "Miss Kurima, indeed, but the fact still remains: How will I ever explain this to her? If it is true, and the ranch does owe that many Rupees due to my actions, I doubt I can ever be forgiven for such a crime..."

He looked to the horizon, where the desert shone with the rising humidity of the day's sunlight.

"This is, of course, assuming it was a crime, and it was damaging. To our own credit, there is no evidence of damage from a storm, save for the land itself. And where have our Cactus friends gone?"

Grey: "Right... I admit, when I drank that stuff, it did feel like worlds were colliding there, for a second. I guess my metabolism isn't quite ready to handle some of the more exotic drinks here in the Glitz Pit."

With that story-based excuse out of the way, Grey flopped (rather roughly) down onto a locker room bench to relax for the moment. That sugar rush was going to come back to him in a few hours, so he figured he'd use the time where his body was at a normal level of energy to get some semblance of rest... With that, he began to doze off, ignoring the discomfort of the benches.

Sig, on the other hand, barged into the locker room, having witnessed the entire spectacle. He rushed over to Bandy Andy, and inspected him for injuries.

Sig: "Augh! Are ya ok, ol' buddy? There ain't no way no how those guys's coulda romped you that hard! I can't believe me eyes still! Y'all looks like ya got bashed like a Goomba back there! I'm surprised you ain't flat wit a hit like dat!"

OOC: New story starts.... now.

???: "Dooooooooooood!"

Pie's terrifying storm barely had time to well into a maelstrom before a butcher knife hurled itself out of the kitchen and into the floor tiles at his feet. A purplish shape flew out of there at lightning speed, picked up the knife, and flounced upward and into the air. It was nothing more than a blur as it bounced along the ceiling and walls of the cafeteria, dodging to and fro between tables.

Whatever it was, it wasn't human.

"C'mon, dood! You're messin' up my cafeteria!"

It continued to bounce around the room, easily evading the lasers that Pie had fired outward. Each rocket from the alien's launcher met with a butcher knife that was hurled furiously fast, and retrieved just as quickly. Finally, it stopped, and waited for the dust to clear from Pie's ravaging. A pair of peg legs clunked on the floor tiles as it stepped forward, balancing by some completely unknown means.

It was short. It was fat. It was dead. Sort of.

In actuality, it looked a good bit like a penguin with peg-legs. A pair of tiny bat wings sprouted from its back, and it had a little pouch hanging around its waist. It placed its knife inside this pouch neatly, in spite of the pouch itself being much smaller than the knife. Its very chest was sewn to its neck via a series of fat, tough stitches. If anything, it looked Frankensteinian. Its gaze was completely empty, with two black holes for eyes that sat above a broad beak that served as its mouth. Two fat flippers held the pack gingerly, fingerless but still able to grip things very hard by some unknown means.

It was a Prinny. Its name was Axel. And it was very, very mad.

Red, you need to see the trailer to really understand what everyone in this thread is talking about when referring to SSBB. Especially since with the way the trailer's portrayed, it seems like what we saw was pretty close to what actual game footage is going to be like.

Well, I woke up with blood on my shirt again. This time it was in the same place, same side, along the left side of my torso beneath that part of my chest.

I wouldn't place too much stock in the rare condition... it really might be the fact that the fabric of my shirt is just so irritating that it causes my skin to bleed wherever there isn't anything to protect it. I guess I better start using fabric softener or something. I really don't think I'm sweating blood out of my nipples or something... That'd be terrible.

Right, it's a few spots of blood here and there about the size of a dime. It's just something that concerns me, it's not like I'm weakening from blood loss.

EDIT: I haven't told my parents about it, either, because I figure it's either temporary and therefore doesn't matter, or my mom will come up with some bullshit explanation for it like I'm staying up too late and that's what's causing me to bleed.

EDIT2: Did I mention it's always brown, dried blood? It seems like it's been there for about an hour or two at best.

Some time would pass before Grey 'woke up', so let's switch the focus a bit....

---------------

Sig continued to inspect his frazzled friend, and looked to and fro from Andy to Grey's improptu bed.

Sig: "Yeah man, but 'ow'd 'e cause so much damage? Las' time 'e kicked me 'n da boss's butts 'e did it wit' sheer luck! It was dat stone 'o 'is... Da one dat shook da ground like a 'undred quakes back in Land's End! 'ee ain't no normal fighta! None o' dem are! Wit all dat ninja stuff 'is buddies were pullin', I'm bettin' 'ee's just the tip o' da iceberg! Theys gots ta be cheatin' or somethin'!"

Suddenly, it hit him... That stone...

"Cheatin'... I wonda..."

So.... Is that 20 minutes, 12 seconds, or 20 hours, 12 minutes?

The first would be sad. Second would be standard fare for an RPG. Especially if you spent all of your time between now and then playing it. But why would you spend that much time playing a Battle Network game?

*raises hand*

Beating Very Hard mode is good, but ultimately it'll soften you: The computer, even when it's thinking as critically as possible, just uses the same patterns over and over again. Eventually, you can adapt your own fighting style such that you're able to defeat any computer opponent, while still losing to humans.

It's good for training, but if you don't fight a real human, you might start to plateau off. I suggest Adventure Mode for Kyouji's challenge! Mostly because I like Giga Bowser...

You know, we really need to sticky that one thread that just lets you discuss them all.

With a glistening light, Grey's baseball bat appears in his hands. He slams it against the side of the thread, which promptly closes.
