| Grey looked the menu over with interest. That Peach Pineapple sounded tangy and delicious, but the Grape Grenades seemed like some kind of deadly concoction... And what the hell was a Cranberry Crush? Some of these sounded like rejected Hawaiian Punch names. He closed his eyes, and pressed his finger onto a single name on the menu, letting his second sight guide him, and showed the bartender what he ordered. The 'tender raised an eyebrow, and went to work. Only fate could tell now...
Grey: "I somewhat have a bad feeling about this..." --------------- Sig was a little perplexed at some of the names, remembering them as remarkably similar to a world that a friend of a friend of a friend of his family had once described. Some kind of town of night, and a koopa with a sword that looked like a skeleton key. He nodded a few times at Andy's words, and agreed to begin a small investigation. Jolene trusted him not to cause too much trouble... For the most part. He high-fived, in a manner that does quite defy physics and get into anatomies that are best left undescribed, his buddy and set off back to the Glitz Pit. And considering a sudden urge he had just gotten, the best place to investigate suddenly seemed like the bathroom. Man eating toilets, eh? Not on Sig's watch. |

Er, now Jomb, I have to thank you very much for something: Your looking into the idea of sex=sin saved me a hell of a lot of convincing. I'd like to know where you got your information from on that aspect, as nowadays the idea of sex not being a sin could definitely use some pounding into a lot of peoples' heads. It's a much better idea to abstain from sex via responsibility or lack thereof to accept the consequences than it is to abstain from sex purely because you think you'll be sent to hell for it. |

| My Psychology 103 course was called "Common Sense 101" by most of the denizens of URI. The teacher insisted upon a black and white scheme of thought in a psychology class, of all things. Her word was always right, even when there were obvious logical fallacies to her work, and even when the textbook itself contradicted her. Her opinion was always correct, as well. Crazy, no? Can't believe the ideology I held was incorrect, all this time.
Then there were my programming courses... I know you're supposed to build from the ground up, but we kept on having to cover the same thing over and over and over again because some people just couldn't get it. It frustrated me, mostly because in an educational scenario, it's very hard for me to take the perspective of someone who can't understand the material when I can, or someone who can understand the material when I can't. Honestly, I'm glad I'm transferring. |

| Johnathan shuffled around in his seat, considering getting up and edging Glenn more towards the conclusion of this little escapade, in order to remove themselves from what seemed like a hostile area. Miss Hikari was still in trouble, needless to say. He pushed his spectacles up his nose, and lay in a rout of indecision. He shifted his brimless hat about on his head, contemplated the emergence of these new strangers who had helped to save the train, and finally snapped at the thought of having to listen to Glenn chattering to yet another, nay indeed this time a pair of, random strangers that they had met through extreme circimstances. Would the madness ever end?
The quiet farmhand shoved himself into a standing position, leaned out of the side of his boxcar (conveniently located near where Glenn and JD were heading), and beckoned to Glenn to make haste and continue their journey. Johnathan: "Come, Master Glenn. There is precious little time for chatter. We have a job that requires our attention, and there will be opportunities to see the mystery of our local rock formations at a later date." Glenn or no Glenn, Johnathan's resolve led him to the front of the cart, where he promptly deboarded and came about face to face with the strange, cactuarian creatures. I'm wearing my TRU shirt, a black tee underneath it, some baggy cargos that can unzip to become shorts, socks and boxers, and my usual black skate shoes. I've also got my glasses on, and I just took my TRU shirt off because yeah, it's pretty hot in my room too. And I've got a fan! |
