Ergh, wait! Kamek, I wanna know your scores if you managed to get into MIT! The guy who was ranked third in my entire class in high school sent in an application to MIT and they laughed at him, but I was ranked like 44th and only got a 1470 for mine (780 math, 690 verbal), and they came to me first. Needless to say, I never applied. I did a lot of stupid things back then... |

I can't see what you guys have against the 64 Rainbow Road. It's my favorite course in MK64 (aside from Wario Stadium) BECAUSE it's longer than all of the others. To me, that's a good thing. I didn't like how short the other courses were in it. The game needed to end with a good marathon. |

The man's target, a young man in a black vest and jeans of the same hue (or lack thereof), heard the rose whiz through the air, adjusted his sunglasses, and raised a hand, spreading two fingers as the flower flew towards his face. A nigh-invisible wire, looped around his index and middle fingers and suspended between the pair, sliced the rose in twain, and the two parts flew past the boy's face as he blew towards them with just enough wind to diverge their flight. Effortless and calm, he said nothing as he continued walking towards this callous prettyboy. He was too fast for death to keep up, and too silent for Hell to hear him coming. His name? He never said it. He never said much of anything. He hadn't heard his name in years. He had spent his life running from world to world, and each new one had given him no notice, and no name. Here, there were only those who knew him as "Miller". Here, he had chosen to stay.

Miller said nothing and kept walking, approaching the wall of flames. He took a short hop, and sailed into the air as a tiny hydraulic motor in his shoes fired off like a piston. He flipped once, and pushed his shades back up his nose as he passed cleanly over the wall, landed on the ground, and kept walking slowly, methodically, towards Uomo.

He whipped a hand out to his side, and there was a silvery shine in the air that streaked about, a wire extending itself from the sleeves of the shirt that he wore beneath his vest. The wire, an extension that the eye of a sniper would barely detect, raced towards Uomo and attempted to ensnare him. To the untrained eye, Miller was merely walking with his hand to his side, but the gentle movements of his fingers belied his true strategem... Within them was his key to victory. There was no need for talk, he knew why he was here. Somehow, in some way, he knew.

Man, I still remember the "Jump over the wall" trick in the MK64 one... Took off about a quarter of the course, and put you in the lead instantly. Quite possibly the best shortcut ever. |
