| I can pull off x8s on like, garbage and stuff... And that's only when someone like Hiryuu gives me a lot to work with. Of course, by then I'm probably already dead anyway, if it's Hiryuu. But the best I've ever gotten on pure blocks in single player is x6. I know, I'm crap. But I can get a lot of quick 2s and 3s off. I try to make that my strat, to overwhelm my foes with a lot of small combos. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| CPU, if you're looking for good Sims, aside from the acmlmers that post them Dokurorider is also a very good simmer who does a lot of fun and popular mixes. He's very prolific, so some of his sims are hit and miss, but for the most part he does good work.
Of the people here who sim, I'd recommend Hiryuu's sim of Bouche's Transanity above a lot of other stuff. It's by and far one of my favorite mixes on BMS. If you're a keyboarder, SWR's "Bombs over Bagdhad" is really, really freaking tough. I also recommend 100 sec. Kitchen Battle, A World Without Logos, Bloom (from GetBackers), Butterfly (Delaction Remix), RobO0996's Super Smash Brothers Melee pack, Super Mario (Luigi Euro Remix), and Heaven Is A 57 Metallic Gray (Long Version .v2). They're good songs, aside from ranging from decent to really, really, really good (BDR is the best sync out of all of them, IMO) steps. |

| Grey saw the knife and scoffed as it sparked against his yo-yo's string...
Grey: "An adaptation of the Fuchoin String Style... Not gonna--huh?" He noticed Jack's aging body, a result of the decaying goo, and flinched as he head the ghostly voice pass by his ears. Not the best time to be hearing voices. He closed his eyes and turned on his second sight, only to see Atrats, the little bugger, floating around Jack's head and spraying him with the decaying goo. 'I thought...' "I thought I said..." He scowled angrily, that same green glow surrounding him again, this time even more intense. Fueled by rage, a less pure kind of focus, it was unrefined and nigh-uncontrolled. This damn demon was really screwing around with the two battlers. There was a quick flash, and Grey appeared next to Jack, Atrats' spectral form enclosed in his fist. His glare was akin to that of a man scorned, his pride hurt and his eyes full of fury. Grey squeezed the aging goo that poured out onto his fist, but its touch had no effect on him at all. The power of the imagination is, after all, timeless. "....To stop ruining my floor..." A cold wind swirled around Grey's body, and the black goo began to get cooler and cooler, eventually freezing into a hard shell around his hand. "...And to stop messing with Jack! PK Freeze Omega!!!" The simple, cold wind quickly turned into a raging manifestation of psychic cold with Grey's echoing cry, a maelstrom that flowed around Grey's body, freezing him, with the gooey Atrats in his psionic grip, inside of a massive, solid block of pure frost. The goo that surrounded Jack quickly froze and cracked, breaking off of him and stopping up at the source. Indeed, Grey looked almost statuesque inside of the icy block, Atrats clutched in his hand for only Jack and him to see. At the urging of the use of fire, Grey instead used ice to turn Atrats' power against him. The question is, of course, one of whether or not his logic, and indeed what seems like his sacrifice, worked. |

He placed his hand behind his head in a classic anime pose that belied his true action: Sending out a psychic ping for any of the life-signs that Jack had just mentioned. So far? Nothing. And that Tricorder was probably a few notches more effective than his own rusty powers. "...Or maybe he just wants to help them plan a wedding, if that's the case." He winked as he walked, in a completely nonsensical and clearly clueless way. |

(thinking) 'What's worse now, is that because we didn't fulfill the Don's wishes, he won't be giving us that blimp ticket any time soon. I'd have much rather beat it out of him.' |

With a ticket floating in the air beside his head, Grey trudged out the door of the Don's room, and went on ahead of Kirby to the outside. He clutched his baseball bat firmly as he slammed the door to the mafioso house behind him, snatched his ticket from the air, jammed it into his pocket, and immediately swung his bat at a nearby trashcan, slamming it so hard that it dented about halfway into its structure, ripped out of the ground, and toppled over. Amazingly enough, nothing poured out of it. In fact, it, much like every other trash can around it, was mysteriously empty. Grey paid this no heed as he hurled his bat into the air and it disappeared upon leaving his hand.

As they exited the building, the rest of the group would find him calmly standing next to the trash can, which now floated a few feet off the ground as Grey meticulously pulled the dents out of it via telekinesis. He set it back on the ground gently and clapped his hands together, transmuting it back into its former pristine state upon laying his hands on its battered surface. As soon as everyone had assembled outside, he smiled and approached, his usual pleasant demeanor having returned. Grey: "Well, that could have all been avoided rather easily, hm? Seems we've got some tickets. Let's go!"

The block of ice exploded outward violently, with shards of ice swirling to and fro about the destroyed arena. The black smoke meshed with frosty dust as Grey appeared, unharmed by his own freezing power, walking towards Jack with a small package in his hands. The sack of marbles?

The explosive kind, one could only wonder... One of Grey's favorite weapons, the dynamite marbles struck fear into the hearts of all who saw them drawn out of Grey's vest. A clattering of glass and plastic on the ground and a violent explosion would be all that his foes saw and heard before the blackness took them for one final masquerade. He advanced on Jack's rapidly fading form, drawing from the pouch a single small, round orb. Grey: "Not my style, Jack... If you're going where I think you're going, I'll wish you luck instead. Take this. If you do, it'll be much more likely that we meet again." It wasn't a normal marble, to be sure. Instead, it seemed to be a small, completely clear glass ball with a small "G" engraved on it in dark green, the same color as Grey's vest and psychic aura. A tendril of black smoke enclosed itself around Grey's hand, which glowed green for a second and dispelled the dark forces around it. Grey pressed the orb into Jack's rapidly fading hand, and nodded. "It's a Call Bead. Throw it on the ground whenever you need me to fight alongside you. You'll know when the time is right. Trust me, and good luck." He stepped away from Jack, and the green glow surrounded him as he spun rapidly around in a circle, and promptly teleported away.
