Thoughtless: Not at all man, these are good questions you're asking. However, you've been rejected by her as you've said, "several times". What you have to ask yourself is why you've been rejected. Why you've been rejected is key, there's always a reason. You don't need to change yourself for someone though, it's not worth not being yourself for someone you think you love. It's much better to be yourself and be happy with the life you have than to change. Believe me, I know. I changed a lot for someone, and it was a bad decision. When I say be happy with the life you have, I do mean be optimistic, but you can't get your hopes up about someone who has rejected you before more than once. In a lot of cases, no does mean no. I don't want to pull the wool over your eyes on this one: Chances are you're not going to have that much luck unless SHE changes. Alternatively, if you really do want to pursue things, there are several things you need to look out for. You say that there are signs that point to a yes or a maybe. What signs are these? Are they becoming more prevalent? Does it really have that much to do with your becoming terrifyingly serious, or does it have more to do with the fact that you're thinking too hard about being morbidly serious? This is a very strange line of logic, I know, but still, a lot of the time people are turned off by people who are paranoid about their very thought processes. If there's any kind of change you should consider, it should be that you need to clean up your ghost fears. You know, the irrational fears that you really don't need to worry about... They're just ghosts. Don't believe in them. Sky: You're just sour 'cause everyone else is rich and pimped out in Dragon armor. He trudged into the arena, a small one he had set aside for his own personal uses. Adorned in his dusty Toys R Us shirt, and with an exasperated attitude, Grey had been completely burnt out by today. There was that lady who wanted a tax exemption because she claimed Native American descent, scrubbing the Zone cabinets, and the people asking for Xbox 360s... Yuck. Couple that with the four? Five? times he had to go out in the cold to get carriages, and Grey was not a happy psychic. Worse yet, some punk had called him out to his arena and insulted him not a week before. Hooray for mood swings, eh? Grey looked up from the ground, and suddenly noticed Jack... "Uh...? Who're you... 'n what're you doin' in my arena..."

You're a heck of a lot better at male matters than I am. And speaking of which... So I met this girl that I really really really like. And I wanna get together with her, and I think she wants to get together with me too. Aside from the distance between us (she's a little too far away from me for me to drive) I think this is entirely possible, and I'm looking forward to the day we can do it. But there's still a problem on the home front. There's this one kid who seems to think I have a crush on her, and she's under the impression that I want to be with HER instead of the awesome person that I'm referring to above. She's firstoff WAY too young for me and secondoff kinda creepy in the sense that she's really clingy but at the same time goes through boys like they're last week's lunch. So what do I do, take the direct approach, or just kinda let her down easy about this?

Dropping down from the ceiling after losing his footing on the climb up, Johnathan heroically sailed down to where the group was on yet another large shard of ice... All of this lava made for a good bit of humidity that he could work with, which he did to great effect. He sent his ice board into the flames, which blasted the platform to steam in seconds... "Fire beats ice..." Johnathan grinned as the steam spread outward, nearly as hot as the flames themselves. He skidded along the ground and towards the dragon's firey breath, which he drew the cloud of water vapor towards, with intent to mask the flames and put a bit of a damper on the dragon's rage. "But water beats fire!" Stopping just in front of Hikari and Farid, Johnathan's duster came within inches of the existing fire, and he felt the heat of the breath on his face. Beads of sweat rolled over his forehead as he pushed his glasses up his nose... "Did you miss me, Miss Hikari?"
