Using the Charizard's long, drawn-out charge time to his advantage, Kalar begins running the hell away, dashing out of the building he's in and slicing a sizeable hole in the structure's wall. He turns a direct 90-degree angle from the building and gets as far as he can from the Charizard's blast radius. He then rears back, and prepares an attack... "This ought to be interesting..." |

| Janus: "Ok, I think I---AUGH!"
His head rang out with pain and he yelled out in anguish as he felt the flow of time get severely disrupted a second time.... By this time, Garro had come to as well, and had been released by Lunari. He rushed over to Janus, where Kalar was already kneeling on the floor next to Janus. Janus held his head in his hands and shut his eyes tightly, trying to concentrate... Garro: "Janus! What's wrong?" Janus: "He's.... he's doing something. I can feel time being disrupted somewhere in the world right now! It's painful... But I should be alright for the time being. Just... Not very useful right this second." As Garro went to help Janus to a place he could relax in for the moment, Kalar looked back at Dracoon and stood up. Kalar: "We fight, huh? Alright, show us the way..." |

| Grey: "Oi, Kirb, I'm home!"
A warp star slammed into the garden, narrowly missing the harvested crop field in its large, unwieldy blast radius. Hopping down from it was a young man of average height and scrawny build. His vest, a deep blue color, clashed heavily with his brown trousers and flat-bottomed shoes, but he walked with the gait of a man who had no clue that he was so unstylish. He was happy! "Looks like the party's just about to begin!" Grey had been intending on throwing a party like this, but with all of his recent studies and his plans to move out of the Sim Battle Complex Basement and actually ONTO Grape Gardens, it was a little difficult to get a gathering like this together. But then, Kirbynite always had that level of leadership... "Holy guacamole! And we got chips!" Grey burst onto the scene with huge bags of chips and tankards of dip filling his arms. He snapped his fingers, and giant bowls appeared on the tables that had been set up for snacks, which he quickly filled with his lovely snack foods. "So come on take a dip, and this party'll rip!" |

Rijju blazed forward as Janus recalled what little he knew about NuBodia... "Let's see... NuBodia... Ah! I remember something! NuBodia is run by two separate cultures; The Nulians and the Bodites, hence the name NuBodia... Each has a different system of belief (The Nulians are particularly known for their belief in the Oracles, and have a much less traditional architectural style, hence the tall, prism-like buildings), different economy, different cultural tastes, even different festivals! The catch, of course, lies in their symbiosis; The Bodites and Nulians insist upon never breeding with their own kind: Each thinks they are utterly physically repulsive! Add that to the fact that the Bodites are predominantly male and the Nulians are predominantly female, and you have a pair of races that are more or less forced to interbreed in order to survive. The resulting offspring is always classified and raised as either a Nulian or a Bodite, and is tossed, for some strange reason, into the culture and lifestyle of their designated race. Simply for the sake of continuity, and the fact that long ago someone just decided who the races would be, most males of the offspring are designated as Bodite and most females are Nulian. Oddities do occur, which explains the revulsion felt by most members of the same race (it's not that they're physically unattractive, it's just that nobody really likes breaking tradition around here), but for the most part it's Nulian = Female and Bodite = Male." Janus winked at Yiusi... "Apparently, there aren't any racial minorities. If you ask me, I say it's poppycock, I can't tell the difference between them! Other than gender, that is..." |

| I'm trapped at the University of Rhode Island as a first-semester freshman. I'm getting a double B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, and I intend on getting my Master's degree in Compsci. I'm hoping to spend my final year in Japan, and maybe get into technological development there. I can't wait.
Currently, I'm employed at Toys 'R' Us as a sales associate (read: Grunt worker). The magic does NOT begin there, people. |

| Celebrate! Grey's in the tens!
Passed Bag with a B, and I got through So Deep (Perfect Sphere Remix) by the skin of my teeth! By which, I mean I failed halfway through but was versusing someone who kept me alive until the end when I ended up keeping THEM alive in the final steps. It was a team effort. 
Next time I'll pass it myself. Got to the chorus in Cartoon Heroes too, but I screwed up the cross gallops and dammit, I was really tired at that point... Another song I'm close to passing. |

This had been a strange little excursion... But quite a far distance off, another exchange was taking place... ----------------- Grey: "You're a fool, User..." UGrey: "NO! You're the fool, you bastard! How dare you banish me from my own creation! I have the power of all creation on my side! I'm almighty!" Grey knew he had to finish up this little subplot, it was the only way he'd be able to continue the story as it had been set so far. He stood, his feet lightly touching the tips of the clouds, floating in the air high above the destroyed remains of New York City. Once this was over, time would unfold and everyone would be returned to their respective universes again. Except for this one... "To think I'd be betrayed by my own creation! I'll show you the meaning of---" Grey: "YOUR creation? You don't get it, do you User?" The wayward former master of ceremonies, the previous avatar stood equally in the sky before Grey. There was no turning away from him. Alone, and yet together, they had fought for hours as the events below had transpired. This was Grey's one chance to align the universes and bring the story to a true head. No more bullshit. "This isn't your universe. That isn't your power..." Grey's hair waved wildly in the wind of the high skies... He could feel another being gripping his mind, taking his body for ever so slight a moment as a dark shadow formed around him. "It's all fake. When it comes right down to it, in his eyes you really are nothing more..." He raised his hand and pointed it at User Grey as the same black shadow enveloped the failed creation and consumed him. A hole opened beneath his feet, and like a trapdoor in a theatre, User Grey fell through it, a doorway to pure nothingness. "....Than just another actor on the stage..." Across the nightmarish world that had been formed of the being's misunderstanding, three holes opened... --------------------- In the Aztec ruins of Mexico, a portal opened and threw out a tall, brawny man dressed entirely in leather clothing, never allowing a piece of his skin to show. He looked around himself. The portal had worked! Now he could make sure that what happened to his home world would never happen to this one. He just had to find that place... --------------------- Out in the dark undercities of Los Angeles, another portal opened, this one from a man who wished to get home. Wires wrapped his sleeves and clothes, thin and fine, barely discernable to the human eyes. Wordless, with only thought as his companion, he wondered where he had landed this time... --------------------- Way out west, in the desert towns of Kakariko Gulch, a third portal opened, and a young man, a victim of his own experiments gone horribly wrong, realized that he had traveled back in time accidentally and had no way to get home. He studied his surroundings, and immediately realized what he'd have to do. He placed a pair of black sunglasses on his face, looked into the skies, and closed his eyes. A cold wind began to swirl around him, and soon he had a piece of ice to suck on while he walked through the sweltering wasteland. --------------------- Kalar blinked his eyes a few times. Had he blacked out for a few seconds, or was that just him? No, he hadn't... Dracoon stared at him expectantly, waiting for him to exp "Ah, right... Erm, what exactly will happen if we DON'T stop Star? Is there anything we can do to stop whatever events he's putting into motion?" |

The tome whizzed toward him, and Grey did the only thing his instincts told him to do-- He threw the small ball in his hand, which suddenly expanded into about the size of his fist, at the gigantic book! "Dick Cheney, I Choose You!" There was a flash of white light, and the red and white ball opened! What came out, however, was not a Pokemon... It was a squat, fat old man, with white hair, glasses and a gray business suit. Cheney: "Cheney! Cheney-chen!" Grey: "A--all right, then, Dick Cheney... Let's see what you can do!" Cheney: "Chen!" The fat politician dashed forward and leapt at Kirbynite in a manner that suggested he wasn't quite the being one would perceive him as. He lumbered and flounced, and flolloped in as gutteral a way as possible, until Grey shouted another command... Grey: "Dick Cheney! Use your Oil War attack!" Cheney: "Cheney! Chennnnnnnn....ey!" The overweight legislator reared back, and from his mouth spewed a burst of pure crude oil, intended to cover Kirbynite in its sticky sludge! He followed it up by spitting a ball of fire from his mouth, with the intent of igniting Kirbynite from the high reactivity of the fuel! |
