Grey: "Nothin, really..."

He suddenly gets a strange feeling, as though he's forgotten something...

"Say, Schwa, have you seen Janus anywhere in the past few years? He never DID come home..."

Grey > Comrade Greymanov > Grey > i liek teh pink! > Jean Grey > Grey > Greybachev > Switzerland > Greybacca > Guilty Grey X > Greynic X > SeXkeeper > Grey the Stampede > iDonut > Grey.

Generally my name changes based on my mood... I'm sure I've used others in the time that I've been here, but usually it has to do with what fads are active, what my current picture choices are... It's all a theme. I'll always be Grey, though.

Yes, and let me tell you, it was hellish.

Ever been so hopped on caffeine that you could actually feel it like it was a real drug?

But at this point it really seems like you would be used to this kind of thing... This is seriously a recurring event with you, DV, why don't you just smarten up and stop liking boys, or better yet start liking boys that aren't complete jackasses?

I would have thought they'd keep simple and clean as a theme... In the E3 video, they did have a really nice orchestrated version of it. I thought it fit the game pretty well, it kind of conferred upon all of the characters a sense of innocence that really blends with the Disney aspect of the game, while still presenting them all as characters that have room for growth and change.

All that from a song, eh?

My roommies and I have "Metrosexual Friday".

And then there are the rare occasions where I raid one of their clothing collections and come out looking somewhere between awesome and ridiculous.

Other than that occasionally I wear my long detective coat, but I'd like to get a fedora to top it off, so to speak...

And then there was that time where I took the bottoms off a pair of dark blue convertable pants (pants to shorts via zippers and stuff...) and attached them to the white tops of another pair. That got some stares.

Actually, if you take a look at what he's posted there, he's talking about the existence of MPD within him for collaborative purposes (read: rather than detract from his life they actually help enrich it, according to his culture).

Clean bathrooms, hallways that are at least 10 feet wider than is considered standard for schools of the size that the school will be, good cafeteria system, the ability to wear hats indoors, the ability to have bottles of water in classrooms, a streamlined, challenge-based education system as opposed to a weak, get-as-many-people-to-pass-as-possible-by-lowering-standards-based system, and FUNDING.

OK, I wanted to start a game before the end of the other board, but that got throttled easily... So here we go!

This is a game all about misdirected logic. The challenge here is to beat me, to try and remain a few steps ahead of me in my logical thinking.

The premise is such: I give you a sentence describing an object in my own terms. Using related definitions and higher-order thinking, you have to try to guess what that object is, and you also have to define your thought process along the way. Points are given for correct answers and bonus points are given if you think along the same lines that I did when designing the riddle.

I guess the best way to describe this would be through an example:

Easy: This cutting-edge piece of technology's blades spin, but you won't bleed if you touch them.

Answer: A Helicopter. It has blades that spin, but they're not all that dangerous when you handle them.

Point value: Because this was an easy one, you'd get one point for the answer, and a bonus of twice that for the same line of thinking... So you'd get a total of 1 or 3 points.

Medium: It's more likely to keep you from getting wet than it is to make itself wet, despite its name.

Answer: A sweater. Most people wear hoodies in the rain to keep from getting soaked, and although its name implies that it'd sweat, most sweaters remain comfortably dry if unprovoked.

Point value: Since that one was a little bit harder to understand, it'd be worth two points. The logic was also long enough to give you a comfortable 3x multiplier in addition to your already gained two points, meaning a perfect Medium question would be worth 8 points.

Now, for the whopper...

Hard: I suppose this thing fits perfectly in the land of its namesake, but it doesn't seem to like baseball very much. If it could talk, I guess it'd talk a lot about pain. Don't mistreat it: it'll leave you bloody.

Answer: A window. Baseball is the great american pasttime. America is the land of opportunity. There exist windows of opportunity. Windows have panes, which is a homonym of pain. If you mishandle the window, chances are you'll get cut on the glass.

Point value: Because of the sheer absurdity of the riddle, you get four points simply from a correct answer. If, however, you hit the jackpot and guess my line of logic, you get a nice 4x multiplier added on to your already gained 4 points, making Hard questions worth a whopping 20 points!

So, you guys up for a game? Good.

Oh, one last thing... I'm not going to tell you the difficulty value of the questions I post. I've got my own reasons for that, but it has a lot to do with the ratio of wrong answers you guys give before right. Hints will be given on request, but beware... You might be unpleasantly surprised...

And now, without further ado, my first problem!

Number 1:

It's a common commodity. Eating soup out of it would probably be a bad idea, but on the flip side if you're really lucky you can just walk away from it, check back a few seconds later, and see that your business is done.

Good job, Kyouji! You got every part of the question except for one correct... The common commodity was a pun on "commode..." if you caught that, I'd be very impressed.

So, since Kyouji got the answer correct AND his logic was along the same lines as mine, he gets the points. Since it was obviously fairly easy for him to answer the question, it must have been not very difficult, meaning he gets a grand total of three points to start with...

Scoreboard:

Kyouji -
3

So, let's move on...

Number Two:

I suppose if I hit it with my car I'd end up breaking a few tulip's hearts...

Lunari: '---arry.... Janus heard you... help!'

Janus stirred at the mention of his name... That had hurt one hell of a lot. It was bad enough that Garro had betrayed him, but now Kalar was dead, Nijote was still alive, and he STILL had to deal with that psychotic Star that was ready and willing to rampage across the earth and destroy the entire stream of time in the blink of an eye!

He sat upright in his bed, snapping to attention and realizing that he was actually completely unable to rise, having been bound in place by Lunari's magic.

Janus: "I....yggg...What is this...? I can't move! Garro! Where! Why can't I move?"

He glanced through his field of view...

"Kalar! Where's Kalar and Nijote?"

Kalar: "Yo! Janus, Janus! I'm right here..."

Janus strained his head upward from the table, and saw his slightly-more-undead-than-the-average-person ally waving at him from the wall of the Airship infirmary.

Janus didn't say anything. Looked like he was completely fine. Go figure. Nijote must not have killed him after all. Janus had seen stranger, of course... But at least that explained things a little better now. He'd fill in the minor details later. Instead, he shrugged, laid on the table, and waited for someone to fulfill his latest request...

Janus: "Alright, I can deal with that. So, why am I bound to a table and where do we go next?"

Kalar: "Monkey?"

He had DEFINITELY heard it...

"I'll show you a monkey!"

The Charizard drilled straight through the ceiling and into Kalar, who exploded into a dark wave of screams and shadows, the inky blackness of his now formless body extending into further sects of darkness. Kalar's voice rang out like nails on a chalkboard, screeching and screaming alongside its already regularly gritty tone...

"You're all talk, you wannabe! I'll show you the REAL power of Shadow!"

Without any light in the building that the Charizard had sliced through, Kalar was at a distinct advantage... He formed back into his normal body, and gripped his scythe in his hands, holding it in a guard and grinning eerily as his eyes glowed red...

"Minor Drive Fusion!!!"

A heart-shaped design appeared in blue light on Kalar's chest, beginning between his top pectoral muscles, bulging out to make the top of the heart, and then glowing downward and expanding into a cross shape where the point of the heart would be... His eyes changed from red to bright yellow, and soon his pupils could barely be seen...
