(thinking): 'Sky Attack, huh? I recognize the move style... The attacker surrounds him/herself with energy, fire, electricity, whatever they can muster, and hurls themselves high into the air. The catch, however, is that they're not nearly as mobile as they'd like, so they stand a much better chance of being hit than if they used a move like, say... Fly. Easy. Well, not really... Unless you're equipped with a good bit of electricity.' Kalar grinned again, and stomped his foot into the ground. A block of ice jutted upward as he used the stomp and his own hydraulic leg power to throw himself into the air. Ice's strength against your every-day flying move would help him out in this situation, and he knew that with the Charizard attacking the ground, Kalar could get the drop on him... All he had to worry about was the explosive recoil from that Sky Attack. Kalar: "Frozen Ray!!!" Kalar thanked Star again in his head, and raised his scythe as he floated in the air on a carpet of pure shadow. A bolt of lightning surged downward, which Kalar complemented with a shard of ice that formed at the edge of his weapon. Kalar swung, and as the lighting struck his scythe, he let the ice shard fly, charged with electric energy and unleashing a dual-element attack on Charizard's flying aspect. He sat on the ground, disgruntled at his lot in life and waited for his head to regenerate. |

Grey shook his head as he saw the flask fly out...

Grey: "Sh---" BOOM!!! The explosion slammed Grey backwards a good ten or fifteen feet. He skidded along the ground, tumbling a few times before coming to a rest safely outside of the pool of mud. Fortunately, he found as he sat upright, that meant that the sword made somehow of pure lightning energy shocking the ground would be aimed at nothing (nothing important to HIM, anyway). He made sure that nothing was too broken or bruised before he tried his next trick... The steam and smoke that flared up into the air around Grey gave him a decent idea, which he took advantage of by diving into the mess of it. He grabbed that small pouch he had pulled out earlier, and swung it, open end towards Kirbynite, through the mists. Out poured a rush of... Marbles? The marbles flew through the air, each of them with the force of the Hard Ball that Kirbynite had thrown earlier, but with a little twist: When they neared the marshmallowy mage, they all exploded, each one like a tiny proximity mine! And Grey himself? Nowhere to be seen...

You know, Yoro, that's really sweet in a way. From what you've told me about your aunt, it sounds like she likes to live life as young as she possibly can... Maybe she doesn't need to find a guy her age to fall for, 'cause she's always gonna be young at heart.

Then again, she's really not that old at all. My grandfather's like 80, and he's married to someone in her early fifties. Go figure. I don't really know what my age limit is, as I've never actually had an opportunity to test it. I think, as our good friend Kutske will probably eventually interject into the conversation at some point, that mental age is every bit as important, if not moreso, than physical age. Thus, for all we know I might be happier with a 14 year old that thinks like she's 20 than an 18 year old who acts like she's 9. Bleh, but I'm just a big kid inside, myself...

Evan dashed forward to try to catch up with Shen. It had been almost three days since he had seen her last, but he could feel the sheer Soul energy emitting from her for at least a few miles around. That, and her Emerald Shards... He was almost ashamed of himself, at this point. Evan had been waiting for almost six months for him to come again... He had almost killed the bastard the first time, and now he wasn't even showing up on Evan's marks. Where the hell... Another problem? He had been following this girl around. It wasn't exactly like him to just run around, chasing a girl, but this one was special. Well, it wasn't HER that was entirely special, just what she had... That slight degree of chaos that she carried around in her own two hands was enough to just set him off. He couldn't afford to let any of it go, and that little shard was the key to him finding all of the other ones. The very nature of the Chaos energy depicted that it'd drive someone mad who didn't know how to use it properly, but for some reason, it seemed to have no effect whatsoever on Shen's spirit. It was for those reasons, among others, that he followed her around. True, he was at times more a liability than anything else, but it was his own stubbornness and need to succeed in his mission that kept him around. And now, enough exposition. On with the story! The leather-clad warrior caught up to Shen and Origin, and looked between the two of them. One face was familiar. The other also, but in a way that he could barely define... "So Shen. Who's your friend?"

I've actually touched down on this in several of my adventures in the SF.

The Acmlm's Board Building, as I see it, is a gigantic apartment-styled building on the outskirts of a very large city. It is extremely tall, and has office-building-like glass window paneling covering the entire complex. The Admin Room and Staff Forums are on the top floors: Those with offices get the best view. Just below the Admin Room and Staff Forums is the ROM Hacking department, with several floors devoted to it for the individual types of ROM hacking. Pokemon Hacking, recently added, actually had to have the building sliced in two so that it could be horizontally shoved in there with the rest of the floors. Needless to say, the stairs were a bitch to install. Below ROM Hacking is the Craziness department, which really extends throughout the building to the point of actually having small installments in every department. However, the main craziness area is where all of the parties and fads originate from. A crack team of researchers scout out various parts of the internet that are deemed LOL-worthy and assembles them for presentation to the residents of the building. The padded walls are there as a safety precaution. In the centre of the Craziness area is the Brain Teasers department, which is where a great deal of the board's mental power ends up. Below Craziness is the General Commerce department. It is here that General Chat, World Affairs/Debate/Bitching, and Help/Suggestions end up, each preparing to report the most important news, weather, and sports to the masses. As such, it would make sense to have the Media Department below General. Anime, Sports, and Entertainment share one floor here, and have offices in various areas around the series of floors that make up the general department. Below A/S/E is Modern Art, which makes up its own floor and is really more like a very large, exotic museum (with a few rather unsightly pieces here and there) than it is like an office. Below Media is the Gaming department. Comprised of five floors, the General gaming area is on the bottom with General Emulation on top of it. Super Mario is above Emulation, RPG discussion above that, with Online and Creation sharing the top floor, just below Media. Highlighted in the General Gaming department is its archives, which cover the main extent of the General Gaming department and a large portion of the Emulation floor. The social areas are below that, sharing a floor with each other: Anya and Elmo's, and the OC. It's here that most of the residents of the building gather to chat, socialize, and get together for a good, solid round of Ping Pong. The DDR Machine in the OC Lounge is linked to the one in the General Gaming department for competitive purposes. The residential areas are below that, extending all the way to the ground floor, which is the main office. The residential areas are a modular series of floors that somehow keep twisting and turning themselves into more and more intricate patterns. Each registered user has their own living space (save for staff, who each have offices in their respective departments or in the Staff Floors) that they can modify to their own needs at any time, so long as it does not present a danger to others. The main office on the bottom features the FAQ printed in gigantic lettering and readily available to gaze upon for all visitors to the building. The SB/SF are not their own floors at all: The SB is an annex added onto the building on the north side. It also contains the board's dining halls and the janitor's closet, also known as my office. The SB has a large, interconnected series of catacombs below it that make up the board in general's plumbing system. You'd think it'd be suicide to have the SB be above such a fragile and desperately important system, but thanks to the efforts of Dracoon in a recent redesign of the annex, people can still use their toilets without a problem. The Story Forum is a good bit bigger than the SB, fortunately. It is a great, box-like building that is attached via closed tunnel to the main board. In here is an excessively huge library as well as the board's auditorium, where a great deal of plays and acting goes on. Its backyard is the board's backyard, where the gardens and greenhouses are. Also, Craziness tends to have barbecues here. Except, they're less about meat and more about burning things... >.> ....And that's about it. The board. As I see it, anyway.

Yeah, I have... Well, maybe it wasn't love, but it definitely turned out with tears. A lot of the time, my ex and I would fight and we'd end up crying, but then we'd make up and it was always just as teary as the fights were.
