| Here's my story, please aid me. I made My own BG in YY-CHR, but apparently, without the Map16page and Map16pageG files, there is no way I can use the tiles I made in Lunar Magic. So Can someone please explain, what these files are, how they work and/or how to make them.

| When I open up a whole rom with YY-chr all I get is garbage. I have to open up each graphic file seperately (ExGFXxx... & ect.). Thing is, I want to rip some BG's from mario allstars super mario bros.2 by using YY. As you may know, LM only rips graphics from SMW, so I can't get the BG I want from mario bros. 2.. Is there another way I can rip graphics from SMAS super mario bros. 2 and put it into mario world? Or Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong with YY-chr? | |||

| All the paint shop pro SETUP.EXE files I've downloaded close right after I run the application. Is it because I have windows XP?. Is that program too old. I need it to make some sort of specific .PCX file that pic2snes uses to make custom BG's in SMW. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Does anyone know of a solution? | |||

| I know... I can't even make it rain in a level, but I've been making quick headway. These are my dreams that for some reason, I feel will never be accomplished.
Feel free to dream with me! Super Mario BIG TROUBLE hack by me. If I ever learn everything I need to know to program and code this, this is how it will go. New Bosses. Goomboss Grubba (paper mario 2) Junior (Mario Sunshine) King Boo Collosus Bill (More giant than average bullet bill {Even bigger than Banzai}) Fawful (Mario & Luigi Superstar saga) Mario Clone (A crazy fistfight between Mario and a Dark Mario) Bowser Himself. New boards Return of the Flying airships from smb3 Regular Grass themed boards Racing stages Castles with Multiple paths Giant Themed Puzzle/action stages All this plus a cool new soundtrack which means I'll have to become a part time D.J. Figuring as how most of this will take years to learn and might cost $$$. It may be a good passtime when I get older. I'm 14 now BTW. But these are the Reasons I really can't pursue this dream right now. Feel free to rob my ideas from me if you know how to implement them into a hack. Dream on... |

| Yea I save pallettes from YY and open them with LM, but they don't come out right. Is there a way to transfer the pallettes?

| So far I've tried every method in the book to try to use pcs2sopt and get the neccescary files but now success. I've heard about people using gif2sopt. It doesn't seem to work on my computer. Can anyone with experience and a working gif2sopt tell me what to do and how to import pictures. I always get the error " Filename.GIF is not a gif image." even though Obviously it is. | |||

| thing is they always come out garbled after using the mk16 (wrong order).. I tried to import gif files. I also tried to import regular gfx .bin files. But It asked me for some map thing after i chose my file. I don't know what to look for.. Is that why they're garbled?

| Ok maybe not stickied but I'm so happy!. After not being able to run psp setup on my computer for ages & Replaceing autoexec.nt and config.nt various times, I still couldn't get psp 3.11 to run on my computer. So I almost gave up... but I decided to run the setup and safe mode today and it WORKED! So keep in mind that old programs might have to be run in safe mode. If people knew this already I'm sorry to spam but this is news to me. | |||

| Sorry If I'm bombarding this board with questions but this is just about one of the last few. When I save palettes from tlp and then open them with lunar magic, it's not the palette I made, It's the default snes palette, therefore making my custom back grounds look weird. Editing palettes in lunar magic is a pain in the neck though. So I would like to know how do you transfer a custom tile-layer pro palette into LM succssfully.

| i saw this somewhere. But I forgot. All I know is that the title screen level is level C5. there you can chnge the way the title screen lvl looks. I remember seeing how to record mario's actions on that level somewhere in this forum but I'm sorry I cant help you there. | |||

| I put my bg in the 16x16 tile editor, I press f9, but wen i come back to the level or open it in the rom, the bg is replaced by the the 8x8 tiles that it replaced when I used m16-7k. I press insert gfx to rom and insert exfgx to rom but nothing helps. I read the tut by ice man but it doesn't help. Am I doing something wrong? If i press f9 in the 8x8 editor, it replaces crucial in game sprties.
Also is there any way i can place a bg in there without glitching game sprites? I know for sure that my bg isn't too big because in iceman's m16-7k tut, his bg is bigger than mine and comes out perfect. HELP |
