1- Why don't you just use the spliting chuck sprite?

...And you can change how that dumb box looks if you don't want to follow the advice above....

2- Open the 16X16 tile map editor and click a normal cement box. Click edit 16X16 atributes and where it says "make this tile behave like.." enter the MAP16 number for the spliting chuck block. Then right click anywhere on page 0x2 of the 16X16 tile editor and press F9 to save. open th "add objects window" and go to the *Direct map 16 Access* and go to the page you placed your custom block on. you can now use that block in levels of that type.

When I go to a different level and then go back to the main area through a secondary exit it messes up the background. How can I stop the background from messing up?

I'm olbviouslly not asking BlueFalcon but I am asking anyone that knows the answer.

If I have an item called "House Key" How do I make it so that when you open to the locked door in the house it opens?

You were right about it being set on 90 but setting it to C0 Didn't help. Is it possible that the exit from the bonus level and the entrance to bonus level being in the same frame cause a problem?

I did that the first time but luckily I was just starting a new hack so all I had to do was get a new rom.

Okay. I clicked the red mushroom (extrack GFX from rom) and then clicked the yellow mushroom and I still had the same problem. Should I be clicking somthing else other than the red mushroom?

I still cant get it to work. Here are the pictures of how I do the 9 steps. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Step 1: After downloading the pack, decompress the archive with WinZip, WinRAR, WinACE, PKUNZIP, StuffIt Expander, whatever you use.

Step 2: Open up the directory you uncompressed the files to. You should have at least these files:
graphics_name.bin
Map16Page.bin
Map16PageG.bin

Step 3: If you haven't already, create a folder in the same folder as your hack's ROM and name it "ExGFX" (case sensitive).

Step 4:
Rename the file "graphics_name.bin" to "ExGFXxx.bin" where xx = a hexidecimal number from 80 to FFF (It doan't show it in the picture but I changed it to ExGFX81.bin

Step 5: Put the "ExGFXxx.bin" file into the folder "ExGraphics

Step 6ut the files "Map16Page.bin" and "Map16PageG.bin" into the same folder as your hack

Step 7: Open Lunar Magic and open your hack

Step 8: Go to whatever level you wish to use the graphics, like a blank "TEST" level, and clear ALL the objects in the level.

(now is when I click the red and green mushrooms)

Step 9: Insert the ExGFX by clicking the Yellow Mushroom in the toolbar.

It always says there arn't any ExGFX in the file. Please help me.
