I wanted to edit the graphics for startropics but after I was done editing them (I saved! Don't ask if I forgot to.) I played the rom and no graphics were changed. What can I do to get the graphics to change?

BTW I use TLP.

I know you're talking about YY-CHR. But seince you are new try TLP. You can open to two roms at once and drag graphics from one to another.

I checked and I have have changed all 3 sets. Even when I change the release date "1990 to 2005" It dosn't change.

I download SML2 and I noticed some things.

Mario keeps changing from NES style to SNES style.

The top of trees kill you

Some graphics are a bit messed up

Overall you did a preety good job. I just wanted to let you know about these things.

1- Yes the graphics are still changed

2- I'm not editing levels. Only graphics.

Well alot of people have said that Startropics has some really hard ASM. Could this make a difference?

Well I don't know then. Iv'e done everything everybodys suggested but it dosn't work.

EDIT: I opened TLP again and all of the graphics were reset! Maybe my computer really is haunted!

I just didn't think that unfinished would mean

A- Trees hurt you

B- graphics are messed up
and
C- Mario changes appearances.

This is the second rom of this game I have got. I deleted the first one when it wasn't working and then I decided to try again but this time ask for advice. I downloaded the rom from the same site both times because when I tried the startropics roms from other sites it concidered the invalid.
