For me, music is essential.

Like having iron in your blood.
Or, having blood.

No. But I've ungifted. When I was like five I gave my grandpa a snoopy ornament that I bought with my own allowance... and I took it back that day because I cried when I hung it on his tree. A year later I gave it back to him anyways..

Have you ever worn dirty underwear inside out as a last resort?

... I respect this guy for standing up for what he believes in, but then again... beliefs and religion should be personal. Unless he has on his agenda to try and make the church's power limited to.. the church.. then I dunno, he seems kinda shady to me.

Religion = personal.
If you're against religion.. well that's a belief and it = personal.

But I do respect him for sticking up for himself, I mean.. if he's forced to be a certain religion.

You don't want, you need Rasputina's Cabin Fever.

*points to avatar*..

It's an all girl cello rock band. They sometimes distort their cello's by attaching a chord to the bottom of their cello's and running it through an amp. It's genious. The first track on "Cabin Fever" is called "Gingerbread Coffin".. and it's what seriously got me hooked on this band.

Just download that one song. And if you want an example of a song with distortion.. I'd recommend "State Fair", or "Antique Highheel Red Dollshoes". My favorite song on "Cabin Fever" is "Percy Bass".. no distortion, but it's absolutely gorgeous.

My favorite song by them though is on another CD (I think "How We Quit the Forest") and it's called "Rose K". Listen to it, now.

NYC gets cold, but not so much.. like hovers around freezing all winter. Kinda sucks. Upstate is worse, I can take it though.. for some reason when there's snow on the ground.. my mind tells my body that it's not really that cold. It could be well below freezing.. and I can go outside with no jacket for a little bit without really noticing it. It's strangeish.

But, uh I guess you can call this a travelling mishap. Last time I was upstate, I went snowboarding for the first time. So, I was going up the ghetto ski-lift and you have to hold onto it. My arms gave out around the top of the hill, and I like fell over because they make you stand on the board going up. So, I'm dragging on my ass up the hill and eventually my pants came all the way down and I mooned the whole mountain. I didn't really care but.. when I came down the mountain there were these guys at the bottom who were all laughing at me. I just smiled and laughed.. whatev.

But the last time I was on a plane.. my little cousin got motion sickness and barfed on me. I guess that's a travelling mishap.. we weren't even flying yet. The plane was taxi-ing to take off.

I hate landing. I flip out before the plane lands.

Yeah, I hafta shave my legs like every other day now. It's a pain in the arse. The growing back thicker thing is real, at least for me.

And personally, a little stubble can be sexy sometimes.. but it depends on the face. If it's patchy, keep shaving it.. it'll get thicker.

Okay. This is the thread where people have to choose between one choice or the other.

Oh yeah, after you answer the previous question.. make sure you add a question at the end of your post for the next person to answer.

I'll start you off with a hard one.

In the context of this situation there is no divorce. Would you rather live a long lonely life... or marry the wrong person?

Posted on 01-06-06 01:49 PM, in Uh.. Keep fainting/ low blood pressure.. Link
Okay, so during the course of the past five days I've fainted twice, and have felt dizzy every single day. It's seriously impacting my performance at school, and uh.. everything.

I went to the doctors and they said I had low blood pressure, but there's a question mark as to what's causing it. I had an EKG, like five blood tests, a urine test... and they all came out normal.

I'm a vegetarian, yes.. but I make sure I get enough protein from non-meats (tofu, kidney beans, cheeses), and I take a multi-vitamin to supplement other nutrients I may not be getting.

Are there any other alternative answers to this that maybe I haven't examined?
I'm really puzzled, and I'm sick of feeling like this.

Verbally. I usually tutor my friends in things.. it forces me to tell them what's accurate.. so I can't tell lies. I really think that tutoring someone else is the best way you can learn.. and it helps the other person to.

If I write things down sometimes it works. For math, I have to do problems over and over and over before I remember what to do in a given situation. But logs. I fear I shall never fully grasp the concept of logs. (Or maybe I will, but most likely not in highschool..)

Posted on 01-06-06 08:57 PM, in What qualities do you look for in other people (ie, friends, partners, etc)? Link
I hate malicious people. Anyone who can go out there with the intent to hurt someone else.. I avoid. Whether it be physically or mentally. Sarcasticness and humor is something else, but when it comes to the point of like "I'm going to ruin his/her day" shit.. then no. Not cool.

I tend to be attracted towards anyone who's not a dumbass. And there's a large amount of non-dumbasses who surround me. Then again there's like 6,000 kids in my school. I guess most of my friends are music, drama club geeks.. as am I.. so it works. Genuine niceness in a person is a must.. I don't like backstabbers or liars. And if you're going to talk my ear off about some asshole you don't like... every time I see you.. chances are I'll cease talking to you. I'm drawn towards creative and artistic people to for some reason.. people who have a passion captivate me.

With boyfriends, looks don't matter at all really. In fact, it's really all about the mind. Think what you will (if you've read my other threads), but I'm serious. Attitude, personality and a passion... otherwise the person is just vacant and boring to me. I hate when a guy says to me "Uh.. so when are you going to break my heart? I don't deserve you.".. when everything is like.. good.. it makes me think there's a problem I don't detect. Underconfidence= uncool.

Omg.

Eat a dirty diaper... because I'm kind of scared of dying.

Would you rather save the whole world from destruction, but your true love dies... or save your true love from death.. but then everyone else dies?

Edit: That means No.

Listening to music on drugs is certainly different. I don't think I'd have the same love of Akira Yamaoka's music if I hadn't first heard it on drugs.

But that doesn't make Tears of Pain a drug.

You can't get the absolutel FULL effect of Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon.. unless you've listened to it on drugs through blasting speakers in time with the Wizard of Oz.

That is the epitome of a musical/visual orgasm revelation.

Houseboat!!! That's my dream... to live on a boat and travel the world. I'm dead serious. How amazing would it be to cruise from island to island... for the rest of your entire life? Ah-mazing.

Would you rather have invented the atomic bomb and lived to see it's use... or had invented small pox and live to see it kill off an entire race of people?

(That's a pretty sick question.. and I'll quit hogging the thread now.. I just got very excited by that last question)

It probably should.

For some reason I picture like a basement with a bar... and the carpet is black with dark walls. There has to be vending machines though, that's vital. And the threads are represented by circular tables where people sit and discuss different topics. Kind of like an amazing cafeteria, with a bar.

The mods are like the janitors and if someone gets out of hand, they mop them up. Or they'll clean the tables that get too dirty. The admins are like the owners of the bar, which overlooks all the tables. Word.

And the vending machines, I don't know. I always think of vending machines when I come here. Weird.. kinda.

Well, I'm sorta near Staten Island.. I think? I put my self as close to Clockworkz as possible.. cause I can literally swim to Jersey from where I am.

It's like, not even a mile if you go near the bridge.

Okay, no one knows what I'm talking about..

Nope.. no seizures.

And I'm like the least stressed out person that I know, honestly.

Maybe I'm just prone to having low blood pressure for some unexplainable reason? It's just bothering me that I can't seem to get un-dizzy the past few days. Alls I've been doing is drinking water, sprite and eating alot.

It's really getting old. And my teachers don't believe me.

Actually I just got off medication, I took accutane to clear up my skin. Now my skin's perfect.. but uh.. uh oh..
