| Yeah, I assumed the first page was just stupid subliminal messages like "I RULE" or "I AM THE w000test".. or "buy me a computer". So, I went on that as being the general gist of the thread... tried to breathe it some life but I just made an ass of myself.

| So apparantly I have four secret admirers. Go me.
Today was awesome. My boyfriend and I left school after 7th period and hung out around my house. It was very relaxed.. like we just vegged out and cuddled. I think that's better than going to dinner or something. Alot better. He got me chocolates... and we actually smoked. (Which led directly to watching VH1 classic's... hahah). This was honestly one of my favorite Valentine's days ever. [= hooraayy Danielle: yeah, they do the rose thing at my school too. Girls fight too... cause they're stupid. Someone gave one to my teacher.. it was hysterical.. it was to a male teacher from my friend dave.. and my teacher just went "Awe... how sweet"... in a sarcastic tone. I dunno, it's funny if you were there. Maybe. |

| I'd tell the guy. I had to tell one of my friends that her boyfriend was cheating on her... it's rough. She eventually thanked me for it when she found out it was true from him. Of course... they broke up bitterly... but that's better than being lied to longer. If I were in that predicament I think being told by my boyfriend would be harder... cause that has happened to me. I would have rather found out from someone else... so I can confront him in an angry rage and make him feel like a dick. Kind of.... a pathetic revenge.
But that's just me. |

me: the fact that we're not "official" yet.. kind of bothers me a friend: u can wait all ur life he wont ask u out me: but at the same time.. I'm not sure why it would matter.. cause I don't think he'd go for someone else. a friend: who knows a friend: when you two just like started ur thing a friend: he said he liked julie and wanted to go for her also a friend: and that you knew about that a friend: im not sure if he likes u or not, he probabley does a friend: but he said something about he doesnt wanna be tied down me: I knew that julie liked him kinda me: but he didn't tell me that. An example of a friend being honest to with me... because he's concerned that the person I'm "seeing" might cheat on me. He was trying to warn me to not be so trusting all the time and stuff. But point? I'm happy he told me... cause now I know what questions to ask... and how he really feels about this whole situation. |

| People butchered Charle's Darwin's theory of Darwinism when they changed it into a social theory.
He meant survival of the fittest, as in special skills. He used the examples of the birds on different islands, they were able to survive because they were adapted and had developed special skills needed for survival in their environment. If a bird from one island went to another island, he wouldn't have survived because he didn't have the special skills and adaptations needed to survive. That's the original theory of survival of the fittest. Survival of the fittest when interpreted as a social theory.. was quite butchered. It was used to justify imperialism. Survival of the fittest race. Basically... it's kind of like Divine Manisfestation, the Divine right of Kings... or even in American society it loosely bases itself around the Protestant values we still have today. Basically... our people are chosen... or I'm chosen to make alot of money.. so I will.. and boo-hoo for you, you aren't the fittest. I believe that if you use your skills for enormous financial gain... hooray for you. That's all well and good. But there need to be safegaurds on our economy so that wealth doesn't get concentrated in the hands of a few. Social Darwinism advocates the belief that it's alright if a few people have all the wealth.. because essentially, they are chosen, they are the fittest and they deserve it. People make their own wealth because they are good at what they do.. and they excelled. And people deserve their poverty. This doesn't apply in the real world. Many people are BORN INTO poverty, or enormous wealth. The monopolies that existed in the early 1900's (Standard Oil and such), were created by people who already had tremendous wealth and power. And I don't think that poor people deserve to be taken advantage of by wealthy people. If they can't afford an education... if you follow the social darwinism philosophy, it's because they don't deserve it.. it's their fault they're poor... they aren't the fittest and they aren't chosen. I believe in upward mobility.. but once you're at the top.. there's no need to be super greedy. There needs to be safeguards on how much power and wealth one can accumulate. Because if ENORMOUS wealth gets concentrated in the hands of a few... then the economy stagnates. The rich stay rich... and the poor stay poor. The gap widens... and well, it's not good for your country. (Think France pre-French Revolution..) I tend to like Darwin's original theory. That you should do what you're meant for, what you like best... and where your natural abilities take you. If you're an amazing writer, and that's your one great passion... and you become an investment banker because you want alot of money.. and you're not as good at it. You won't get very far in the field... you'll limit yourself to a mediocre job and existance. You should do what you love.. and what you enjoy... and a comfortable lifestyle will follow. You'll be enthusiastic about it.. you'll be skilled at it.. and generally that only leads to good places. But.. yeah Social Darwinism... has absolutely nothing to do with it's original meaning. I prefer the original. It's like people haven't actually read Darwin's "Origin of Species" in hundreds of years. |

| I'm interested to. If it's true, I'll shit my pants with glee. At least they didn't lie.
But an important connection is missing. The justification for war has become "we needed to liberate the Iraqi people". We don't really know why we're there to be honest with you. Right now, there being no evidence (unless this is real), MAJOR links are existing that link Saddam Hussein's downfall to improved national security. After all... after he fell.. there's more terrorists in Iraq now than ever before. It's become a sort of safe haven for terrorists... because there's no real government in place right now... and we're only in a few select locations. | Isn't it kilometers? Or... not?
And I've only driven a car once. And I almost crashed into a sign doing a nice steady 3 miles an hour. Crazy shit. I'm almost 17 and I'm stupid for not taking drivers ed. Now I have to wait until I'm 18 to take it... or take it in the summer, which I'll probably do. I have NY laws. Everyone else drives at 16.. pretty much. |
