Awe, it's probably just because that vacation was so amazing.. and like such a good high point.. and now you've got to get back to regular life.

It's not that bad here. Just approach your life like a rock star. It makes sense... if you think about it.

Wow, I wonder how long this board will be here. How strange. To think that I could be like 46 years old... and go online to Acmlm's. That'd be freaky sorta.

Posted on 02-09-06 11:52 PM, in And here's where the story gets weird. Link
Weird. Yeah, I'd definatly look into that. It's probably just a will of sorts though. Like, s/he probably donated his body to science (you can do that).. and s/he wants his children to carry on his wishes after death. Like, when you become a doctor.. all the students have to dissect a corpse. That's where the corpses come from.. people who donated their bodies to science.

It's quite morbid. And you've stumbled upon the perfect start to a horror movie. Like the time me and my friends had a keg at this abandoned beach. It was the perfect beginning to a horror movie. Especially because the moon was red.. and it was a night of wreckless teenage fun. Something about those two factors equates to "I know what you did last summer, seriously.. so you should run and hide. Part 3."

Posted on 02-10-06 12:05 AM, in Norwegian and Danish embassies burned due to cartoons Link
But you don't want to seem like a bunch of radical extremists... because then you just take away from your cause that much more. Which is why flag burning although it does get people's attention.. generally makes the protesters look like radical nuts. However, most people have a negative image of protesters to begin with... which seems rather silly to me.

Have you heard that in response to the cartoons, Muslims have organized a contest to see who can make the best political holocaust cartoon? I saw it on CNN today, and I'm too lazy to dig up a link right now. But, this is reaching ridiculous proportions. I have a feeling it's not so much about the cartoons themselves... but the obvious long legacy of hatred between these two ethnic groups.

But I got irked when the CNN reporter was like "Thousands of cartoons have been published by people of the Muslim faith poking fun at the darkest hours of jewish history, and no reaction has been as extreme as the muslim reaction to these cartoons.". She just said it in a way that made me want to throw my shoes at the television screen. Paula Zahn. But a Muslim cartoonist who was interveiwed said something good. He said that he has no qualms about depicting Ariel Sharon as a murderer in cartoons, but he'd never take the Isreali god and draw him killing people. I can think of nothing more offensive to the Muslim people.. especially when they're under such scrutiny from the Western World. It was kind of like telling someone who's overweight and insecure that they're fat and ugly. Of course you're going to get an extreme reaction, especially when they're already defensive and self concious about it.

Still, it's not so much about the cartoons as it is the legacy of hatred between these two groups.

Time for some self evaluation. Name two qualities about yourself, physically and emotionally.. one that you like, and one that you dislike.

I promise to post myself when I see some good replies..

How about when you can't run AIM, lololol and iTunes all at the same time without your computer spontaneously restarting. Or even just AIM and Limewire. And if my computer's in a really bad mood.. I'll get kicked offline for no effing reason. I don't even have to be using lololol or AIM for this to happen. Sometimes, I can't even open myspace.com without my computer crashing.

Oh yes, the joys of owning a computer that "fell off the back of a truck".

Okay we've all done it. We've all went to go make threads that we never made. Share some idea's that well.. never quite made it.

Ones I can remember?
"Movies that shoouldn't ever EVER have sequels" and "Teh room is spinning". Both because, after having an okay idea... on execution.. they didn't quite.. I don't know. Make it. Like "Lol.. I can't believe they're making a sequel to big mama's house". Uh- boring. And "omg... hahah wow ever feel like the room is spinning? god I shouldn't have hit the bong 50 times". Just couldn't see any... just any discussion happening after that.

So throw out ideas that well.. never quite made it. I think this was somehow inspired by the Dave Chapelle show... but I forgot in what way.. and I forgot what sketch. Oh, the way my brilliant mind works.

Like people who actually have atomic weapons and the means to do this are going to go on the internet to this website and go... "You know what... I think I'll dig up the nuclear weapon I have in the shed and go for it! That website really convinced me."

That's why I laugh when people say that the newspeople are giving terrorists ideas. Yeah, like they already didn't know how to make shoebombs and hijack planes.

Ookay, I know everyone's like flipping out at the amazingness of this thread. But I'm going to give it a shot now that I'm bored enough.

One physical quality I like about myself is my eyes. They're green with blue rims.. and I think they're really pretty. I'm lucky to have them.

A physical quality I dislike is the tiny but of chubble near my lower tummy region. It's not bad by any means... but it's there.. and it sticks out. If only it was flat. I'd die to have a flat tummy. Like okay.. it looks flat when I have pants on... but take the pants off and like it sticks out. Maybe some girl here will know what I'm talking about? Like, is that normal? (I don't consider pr0n stars or models normal by any means.. I'm talking like.. in regular people terms.)

One emotional quality I like about myself is that I can see every aspect of a situation. I can see why people would be mad at me, and it helps me to accept blame and know my limits. This is also the reason why I can't ever truly hate anyone.. because I can see their point of veiw.. all the time. Everything isn't clear cut black and white.

An emotional quality I dislike about myself is that I'm very niave. I always assume that people are acting on everyone's best interests.. and not just their own. Like I told my "friend" a while ago that this boy tried to kiss me... and that was 100% true. About a day later the said boy comes up to me and was like "Wow, what the fuck are you telling people. We didn't have sex.".... Yeah. Not kidding. Basically the girl made it seem like I was a liar so she could get to said boy. Just, things like this are what my friends like to call "Raina situations". I always think that everyones my friend and that no one ever has intentions of hurting me.. cause I never have intentions of hurting anyone else. I guess everyone doesn't think the same way though.

The title seems to have broken HTML in it as well.

And because you're all dying to know, I just dusted off my computer screen. It was mighty dusty.

I'm changing my layout, it's ugly.

And in response to Colin's "canada will win" theory. Do I even have to say it?

Okay, my layout would look illmatic if it had some sort of table in the middle to put my text. Like an opaque deep purply color with light text over it.

Basically, I'm retarded when it comes to HTML. I know the basics.. and well.. most of you would probably consider this basic but. Help?
