But religion applies here.. as it's a religious issue. And when you're talking about religion.. it's assumed you're discussing morales.. as that falls under the category of religious issues.

I'm basically re-stating the fact that violence wasn't necessary. Especially because they're muslim, and violence isn't generally condoned in their religion.. just as in Christianity you're not supposed to be violent. Or, in any religion ever.

But just as the violence wasn't necessary... neither were the cartoons. Muslims already have enough violence corrupting their religion.. it basically.. didn't need any more provoking as everyone is already on their case.

As for free speech, sure you can say it. I can also call someone a whore, repeatedly. Is it smart? No.

i heart huckabee's.

It's simply one of the greatest films ever. It explores buddhist philosophies.. and how they can affect your everyday life. If you go through the whole process of separating yourself from your identidy. It's a comedy, but an intelligent comedy.

Oh, and of course *points to top of post*. The Corpse Bride was one of the best animated films to hit theaters... ever. Well, since the Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm absolutely obsessed with Tim Burton. And I was obsessed with him before it was trendy to be.. . "Ed Wood"? Anyone. Brilliant. "Frankenweenie"... more brilliance.

Apparantly the board wants me to be genderless.

So I'll be like Hedwig. (50 points if you know what I'm talking about).

I had to. For all I knew, the secrets of the universe could have been hidden in this thread.

Maybe they are. In some sort of cryptic way.

But let's not forget that... Eazy E= MC Hammer squared. So that adds to the suck factor of Eazy E.. rendering your original formula: Eazy E + Tupac = Flava Flav.

Just reciting the facts. It's cold hard math.

Protests are fine, as long as nobody gets seriously injured in the process. The burning of a flag is a demonstration, a defiant act. It's not killing or hurting anyone.. it's just a strong symbolic act. I encourage peaceful protest. They crossed the line by burning down embassies with people in them.

If you're lucky enough, you can get far away enough only to have your eyeballs melt out of their sockets.

Coicidently that's just where Staten Island would be if a nuclear bomb went off in lower manhattan! Oh, all sorts of joys.

Hahahah shofels. I wonder what a shofel would look like?

I use a shovel to break into my house when I forget my key. My sister's able to fit through this tiny tiny like less than 1 foot in diameter wide window. My boobs be too large for that.

So yes, shovels save my from standing out in the cold for two hours until my keys get home.

End of story.

uhhhh, what?

as far as selling out goes, for many people/bands/whatever, the prospect of getting a big paycheck in return for catering to a certain audience is tempting, and it definitely has a tradition of corrupting the music.

promotion and distribution depend a lot on the label wants to do with a band, and that depends on what the band produces for its label, the pushiness of the label, etc, etc. imagine if you were a big record company. you're going to push what you think will sell, and you're going to try to push bands to produce what will sell, and offer them greater promotion to persuade them. it's all kind of complicated.

but anyway, deerhoof totally ruled when they were a art-rock noise band. i saw them the other week and they were kind of a let down. you'd think they'd spaz out on stage, but the closest they came to that was for their 4-foot-tall asian singer to bounce up an down (which was the only time you could even see her).

Yes but that is irrelevant. Seeing as only the music matters to me.. and not if some rich twit is making millions of dollars off of it. Someone made a whole lots of money on Bohemian Rhapsody... and well good for them, big deal.. you made paper. However, the musical aspect of the music industry is far more important to me than the people who make money. I don't equate "selling out" when I check out a band. I listen to the music and either go "Hmm.. this is crap.".. or "Hmm.. this is amazing.".

Point? Don't get turned off to a band because they "sold out". They might still be making amazing music.

Posted on 02-08-06 09:21 AM, in Moments in games where you were in control that made you go "Whoa." Link
The original Tomb Raider. I'm so good at that game, I have every moved pre-planned and the "whoa" factor of playing that game is still there. It was my frist game on the Playstation to.

My second game on the Playstation was Final Fantasy 7. That had several "whoa" kickass moments to it. The first time I beat the game, I still remember the date.. December 6th.. some obscure late 90's year.. hahah. But, I remembered I just pwned the last boss after like weeks of trying to beat him. I finally did it.. and I was like SOO flipping out happy.

God Of War.. had alot of WOAH moments. The trials of Hades. The Sirens. The last battle wasn't a whoa moment.. it was actually dissapointing to me because I just kicked his ass to a point where it was pathetic. But I'd say the Sirens were woah. And that huge boss where you have to straddle his back and like pull the ropes. That was woah in itself.

Resident Evil 4 was one of the most amazing gaming experiences though. I'm playing it a second time right now.. it was so damn good. Every second of that game is a "woah" moment. The gameplay was the best in any resident evil ever.. and it's a joy to just walk around. You feel like you're there. When the chainsaw guys come after you.. I screamed every time. I think it's because I'm scared of chainsaws... but whatever. Still scary as HELL.

In Zelda: A link to the past.. the first time I entered the Dark World. I was absolutely amazing. I didn't really know what to do so I kind of just wandered around and killed baddies and put my sword to the bushes. I think that's my absolute favorite game of all time.. Link to the past. My best gaming memories are with this game and with FF7. I was younger when I played them to.

Oh, and Harvest Moon. You definatly feel in control with that game. Years of my life have probably gone to the original Harvest Moon on the N64. Me and my sister used to pull all nighters playing that game.

I want to play it right now actually. Adios.

NYC busses are terrible. Never on time. And then the bus driver's are dicks too. Train announcers are worse though. My friend was trying to keep the door open for this old women to hobble onto the train.. and the anouncer.. like for the whole train to hear was like "You fucking asshole get in the goddamn train!!". Oh, the 9 train. Gotta love NYC.

I'd pick a 1. I guess. I've kissed a girl before on a dare. And I think girls can be sexy. But I'd never date a girl ever.. girls are bitchy. I guess what Chibi said. And I find guys way way more attractive than girls.
