This is by far the funniest thing I've ever ever ever seen.

Here.

Word!! Check out the rest of their videos.. they're pretty funny. Mortal Kombat is good. There are subliminal frames slipped in. Like ones of them peeing in the closet. Or just standing there stark naked. It's good stuff.

This wins.

NK12347: You have no idea how hard it is to keep up this non-blind charade.
zeml 42: Yes I do.
zeml 42: I was once like you.

Hands down.

I don't think I've ever said anything terribly witty or funny. Damn you.

A summons is a fine. Like, you can be fined for parking illegally.. and junk like that. You have to pay the state off for your misdemeaner.

I wish more politicians were like him. Hopefully what he's saying isn't just a tactic to get elected, but something he really means. Money should be directed to helping the public.. that's what governments are for. Protecting the welfare and interests of the people. So yeah, this guy hits it on the mark.

His sweaters not half bad either..

If you go by logic...

1st is the worst.
2nd is the best.
and 3rd is the one with the HAIRY CHEST!

So I picked 3. Because I like my men hairy..

Posted on 01-27-06 09:52 PM, in Unions Link
I'm for unions all the way. I live in New York City, and I could understand the transit workers union's problems completely. Someone needs to be out there protecting the best interests of the workers. The workers only leverage over their employers is their labor. If the employers aren't treating their workers properly, the workers should have the right to withdraw their labor until a reasonable agreement is made. Otherwise, workers get stepped on.. benefits get stripped and things generally won't work out well for the organization as a whole.

To have a good organization, you need to have a happy base. Not necessarily happy, just satisfied. This doesn't only apply to bussinesses and public services like the MTA of NYC. It also applies to governments and the way society should run. But, I'm just hardcore socialist like that.

And for those of you who don't know (because you don't live in NYC), there was a transit strike here. All the busses and subways stopped running for three days because the transit workers union and the MTA needed to negotiate a reasonable contract. I was for it. Most people around here didn't like it because of the inconvenience, and the transit workers union got fined some ridiculous fee like a million dollars for every day they went on strike. I thought that was extremely unfair because for those days they would have been without a contract and without benefits.. so it was a major problem for them.

I also didn't think it was right that they got fined because by doing that they were taking advantage of the union and the transit workers even further. It seemed in a way, contradictory to parts of the constitution, and contradictory to what a democracy is supposed to be. It seems almost facist to me to have the workers only benefiting the city and not trying to make things better for themselves... very backwards to me.

So uh, that's why I'm for unions. I don't know why anyone would be against unions if they're just looking our for YOUR best interests.

100 x 100 would pwn.

It's only 40 x 40 more pixels. It won't increase loading time or stretch tables.. so it makes sense.

Damn. He stole my point about paper plates being terrible for the environment. ! Especially if the paper plates are made from styrofoam, which alot of them are.

So I say, dishware would be better. It's also cheaper to. It's like what, 5 bucks for dishwashing detergent? It usually lasts for about a month or so. And if you eat three meals a day, plus drinks and plastic forks and knives... that's going to add up to alot of money.

my feet are cold. My house temperature is about 55º right now because we're trying to conserve heat. It's freezing outside to.

No one should ever have cold feet. Ever.

Posted on 01-28-06 06:08 PM, in Smoking: Sexy, or no? Link
I think you guys are forgetting that everyone has their flaws. Everyone has their vices. For some it's smoking, for some it's food, for some it's sex.. etc.

If you're truly someone's friend or you truly care about them.. you'll see through them smoking a cigarette everyone once in a while.

I can't tell you how many friends I lost when I started smoking pot occaisionally. It just goes to show you who really really cares about you.. and who doesn't. I saw friends I used to know at a bowling alley yesterday and they said hi from a distance, and played it off like they didn't even know me. Like "I don't know that degenerate". And I'm talking people I've known for YEARS.

But this isn't about pot, it's about whether smoking is sexy or not.

I'm pretty much indifferent to it. Smoking can show a wild side though... and that's kinda sexy.

Posted on 01-30-06 12:15 AM, in Car accidents.. Link
That was so scary. I was walking down this major highway street with all my friends near my house.. and this car came speeding down the block, and the roads are slippery because it was raining.. and this car spun out of control and hit a telephone pole. It went in slow motion, I swear to you. It spun like three times before it hit that pole. There were three girls in it, one of whom was in my math class last year. They came out of the car and were able to stand and everything, my friend called 911 and stuff. One of the girls was bleeding from her mouth and nose really badly, she probably got a concussion. They were so lucky that there were no other cars around because that could have been 234239746278346 times worse.

And this summer my friends were all in a car, and my friend Derek flipped his car with everyone in it. Literally, the car was laying on it's back. My friends were so lucky they didn't get killed. I only saw pictures from that though.

I've never actually witnessed one before tonight, I panicked. I'm still kind of panicking, I saw it literally like 10 minutes ago. I just walked through my door pretty much. I've actually never witnessed anything gory in real life before tonight. Things can change in a matter of a couple of seconds.

I guess, uh.. share car accident stories or something to that effect?

You can fall asleep for a couple of seconds and not notice it when pulling an all-nighter.. or multiple all-nighters. I'm not sure what it's called.

And apparantly you can start hallucinating if you stay up for more than three days in a row. You can, not saying that you necessarily will. My friend stayed up for a week straight to see if he'd hallucinate.. and he didn't. I know it's possible, I just wonder what the odds of that are.

I actually have this book about dreams that has the story of the radio host who stayed up all night. He only stayed up for three days, and on the third day he showed signs of hallucinating.. talking to people that weren't there and such. So he slept, and the symptoms went away. Strange. I wonder if it's just an urban legend.

I wonder why a company would want to cut something so successful.

]= Omega I know what you mean. I would have been in the trunk of the car that flipped had I not had a doctors appointment that day. It has a roomy trunk, surrounded by windws that got smashed to bits when the car landed. My friends are terribly lucky. The only major injury was my friend got a broken arm.

Two girls I knew got hit by a drunk driver speeding down the wrong way on a one way street at them. It was horrible.
