Anya, so you know, 7 years must be a lucky number. ^^ My grandparents were engaged for seven years through the war, and then were married happily for life.

I think you're all taking this too seriously~ There's no way he will win, agreed. But, he does raise a good point. Some people believe the Vatican, whatever they say, and you could argue that that puts the Vatican in a position of trust, like teachers. If a teacher taught you something wrong, you'd be annoyed, right? So, if the Vatican is teaching something wrong, that's equally bad, no? To be honest, I feel the Vatican does teach some untruths, even according the the Bible, regardless of whether the Bible is the whole truth or not.

Posted on 01-23-06 04:04 PM, in Poll: What is your keyboard layout, and is it native to your country? Link
I use UK QWERTY. It differs slightly from the US keyboard (on which IME is based too, grr) in the placing of some punctuation marks, and currency symbols etc, but mostly it's the same. I have never tried DVORAK. I don't know much about these things really. I might try to learn to use a spanish/german/french keyboar at some point... in the next decade, depends if I move out there or not.

I'm not entirely sure what "incidentally" means in this case, but I'd say I'm 4 or 5, depending on the meaning? more 5, perhaps? *voting 5*

Posted on 02-08-06 03:45 AM, in Pornography? Link
And like someone else pointed out before, it's not really the *porn* that *makes* you rape someone. If you're predisposed to it already, I suppose. I'm hardly an expert, but as long as the watcher has his/her own idea of fantasy/reality, and the line between, it should be fine. Of course, if you're using it a lot, then it might well affect your work and social life, then it's *definitely* time to cut back. In fact, we agreee. Porn in itself doesn't make you rape people etc, although as you say, abuse of it, which in my view would be watching excessively when you don't have a clear boundary between reality and fantasy, can be an influence.

Note: Not ever having been a rapist, I'm not the best person to be making these assumptions, and neither are you <,<;; But we can still make sensible debate over it.

Also, I had a feeling you'd say you masturbate, but not until you had to. I masturbate without porn mostly, and it's good. Good for you for having your own way of doing things, but just be sure you know *why* you do what you do. I say that to loads of people. Really understanding why we do things helps you understand yourself. ololhowdeepwasthat.

Where is the line between saying whatever you want to say regardless of what it suggests about yourself/others/the person you're talking to, and rewriting every line several times before pressing enter, and ending up not being the person you want to show yourself as?

We're not talking about "LOL GAY JOKE!" we're talking about incidences of definitive HOMOEROTICISM.

It's sometimes hard to tell if it's true homoeroticism lolbigword >.>;; or just joking around with some people. One person I know, he keeps um, rubbing himself up against my leg and things, but it's in front of people, so I'd think it's just a for a laugh, but then, well, I don't know. We can hope ?

Some people honestly don't see gender when it comes to love. You're one of them, Kutske. I know I'm gay though, and the fact that your sexuality is different doesn't change that.

EDIT: Sorry, that sounded quite rude. I didn't mean it quite as abruptly as that... I feel you can classify yourself mostly, but you do get more than just straight and bi. Definitely. And you certainly get more detail than simplay gay, straight or bi.

Who said it did? Just because the dichotomy of "hetero or homo" is a social construct of modern times doesn't mean that there aren't people who are only attracted romantically/sexually to one sex. It just means that black-and-white terms like "gay" and "straight" don't apply to all persons. Besides, as I always say, reality is different for each person.

So we agree? I think so... Sorry to have sounded a bit..yeah. :x

Whilst I don't exactly admire Bill Gates, it is important to remember how much he does donate to charity. I don't know how much exactly, and it may not seem like much to him, but it's a good quality, I guess~

I'd be inclined to say it depends what exactly you're doing with each hand. If it's a hand on the mouse, then it's my right hand (right handed) but if my "free" hand is wandering elsewhere, then it varies as to which hand I use, depending on where exactly it goes. ahem.

Skydude, I agree with you - only I don't believe in God even though I go to church every week. >.>;; So. Taking a step back, I realise there are some things I do a lot, but I ask myself, is it worth it? Is it a good thing to do? And I think it is. So I'm wondering if it's worth cutting back on a good thing which I do too much? Still thinking about it. I'm not doing it for Lent, more for myself, so I can take my time over deciding >.>;;

As far as I've worked out... Labour have lasted in for way longer than they should have done. Mistake after Mistake after "messages from God" and lost votes. Conservatives suck royally, and their policies are fairly similar anyway, just worded differently or something. They're supporting Blair, at any rate. Actually, I'm curious to see what a non-Blair labour would be.
and Lib Dems are stuck with an unproven leader now, when nobody has faith in them anyway. I used to think they were on the up, and I do support lefty~ parties, but they've backstabbed their old leader and now seem to be keeping a low profile. I'm not going to start thinking the Conservatives are any better just because Labour's got worse.

Labels speed things up for people you don't know very well. Not many labels are detailed enough. "Sugar" on a jar. What sort of sugar? If you feel the sugar, taste the sugar (Find out about it, rather than guessing) then you find out what sort of sugar it is. So, the correct label for Kasumi, assuming you desperately want one, should be this whole paragraph, surely? And that's what she's said, isn't it? Straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak.

To disrupt your conclusion, I am not simply bisexual. I am attracted to women sexually and romantically. I am only attracted to men romantically (but only manifested as crushes so far). I am genetically male. I am also sexually male. However, I am female by gender and in common behaviour. I have breasts and wear women's clothing appropriate to my secondary sexual characteristics and gender. I am both neither, and both sexes.

In other news, this thread made me laugh. I'm sure it's a very serious debate for some of you as to who is more of a bigot, but it seems as though you're arguing rather than debating.
