Rufus: What the HELL is WRONG wit' you?! Rufus came sliding back down, shaving off a bit of ice with his sandals onto poor Rusty. Rufus kneeled beside his pet, making sure the flames were taken care off. Rufus: Rusty, you a'ight? Rusty lets out a slight whine. Rufus slowly stands up, clenching his fist. Rufus: Ah ain't about to forgive ya'll for doing this. ------------------------ "Aaah!" Arminas: "Aaah"? Arminas was rather surprised to hear a female voice yelping down where he was. Lily once again pointed at their destination. It seemed to be a little clearing infront of a cave. However, the cave really wasn't much of a cave. It was more like a large hole in the side of the mountain. There were some wild beasts in the area, but fortunately, they weren't paying attention to Lily and her group. ---------------------- Arminas: Ssh.. Clara: Wha? Arminas pushed Clara over to a wall in a splitsecond. Clara: Wha-what do you think you're doing?! Arminas: Keep quiet, someone's coming.. |

Lily started to slow a bit. Ark's words seemed to have a bit of an effect on her. Her mind raced around with words, thoughts, memories, dreams. She then suddenly regained her strength. Lily: ... You're over thinking this, Drenchy. Of course it's not going to grant wishes freely! Look at all this trouble we're going through. The work to find it is its test to us! ------------------------------ Rufus: Ah ain't too keen on this honor that lit m'boy Rusty on fire... Rufus's fingers started to glow a bit. Rufus: But it's gonna take more than lightnin' to stop ol' Rufus! Rufus leapt over the hole and rolled forward on the ground. He managed to go into a handstand, and started to perform a series of quick whirlwind kicks at Sky. ----------------------- Clara: You're pressing against me to hard! "Arminas!" Arminas: Oh, it's Lucas. Lucas stepped closer to Clara and Arminas, who had stopped holding Clara against the wall. Lucas: I came down the path that led down here an... Well well... Seems like you two are nicely aqquainted. Arminas & Clara: What're you talking about?! Arminas immediately distanced himself from Clara. Lucas: And to think, the two of you just met. Arminas: Grr.. Look, where's the exit? Lucas: It's over this way.. but we may have to becareful to avoid the fighting up there. Arminas: Fighting? Grr.. I wanted to give Rufus a beating myself! And with that, Arminas started running through the path Lucas came from. Lucas shook his head and followed, along with Clara. |

| Rufus felt the wall on his back crack under the force of the attack. A slight smile appeared on his face through the pain.
Rufus: Not so bad yeh-self. The tanned man slammed his fists against the wall, and using that force, launched himself to clothesline Sky. ------------------------- Clara was flustered by Cassandra's comment. Arminas was already in tunnel-vision mode, so he didn't hear it. Infact, he was halfway out. Clara: I don't know what you're talking about. Lucas: In any case, come with us. We'll speak when we're out of the dark. Clara nodded her head. |

| Rufus stumbled backwards a bit, holding onto his stomach. He lets out a cough before he grins and looks at Sky.
Rufus: Ain't over 'till Ah do 'The Move'. A big smile runs across Rufus' face as he stood up straight. He clenched his fists and started to move towards Sky, when all of a sudden, a fist appeared out of nowhere, and drove the tanned man into the ground. Rufus: Ah, damn! What the hell.. Rufus rubbed his face with his hand as he turned on the ground to see Arminas standing above him. Arminas: That's for makin' me fall. Rufus: Hey! Ain't no fault but yours. |

| Hikari: What're you doin'?! Mitra's still inside!
It was at that moment Hikari decided that she needed to take matters into her own hands. She pulled out a tiny dagger from her right boot and rushed inside the hut. Burly Man: *cough cough* Smoke's not gunna stop me! Hikari: Then how about some metal? Hikari moved her hand across the burly man's chest, with a flash of light trailing behind the hand. Crimson liquid flew into the air as the kidnapper toppled backwards at the sight of his own blood. Hikari: Mitra, come on! Hikari grabbed Mitra's hand and pulled the dancer out of the shack. At this moment, Hikari was gasping for air. Hikari: Ya'll a bunch of insensitive brutes, I swear. Mitra: But Ah'm so grateful everyone came to save lil' ol' me.  |

Pitch: Rufus!! A man who somehow looked even more roughed up than Rufus came running in, panting hard. Rufus: Somethin' wrong, cuz? Pitch: S-Some weird gang out there.. wearin' weird colors, mang.. They all suited up with iron and wearin' red. We ain't doin' so good out there, mang. Arminas: .... Rufus: The hell...? Rufus got up to his feet as fast as he was knocked down. He dusted his shorts off and looked over at the entrance. He gritted his teeth, then tossed something shiney at Arminas. Arminas: What's this? Rufus: Keys to her room. Yeh wanted it, right? Ah'll settle things with ya'll later. Rusty! Rusty: Bark! Rufus: C'mon. And with that, Rufus, Rusty, and Pitch all ran to the front entrance. |

Find her at any cost! Kyaaa ha ha ha ha haaaaa! -------------------- Arminas: Army... That laugh.. Lucas: Do you know them, Arminas? Arminas: *shakes head* No. Pitch came running back. Pitch: Rufus told me to show you the back exit. Hurry up and get the girl, mang. I'll open the door. Clara: If we don't hurry, we'll get caught up with the fighting. |

Rufus: Whoa there. She came all the way out heya to see us, so why don't we have a little fun first? Rufus grinned while cracking his knuckles, while Rusty let out a menacing growl. The woman folded her arms. Every tiny movement the woman made was heard thanks to her tight leather body armor. ???: Unfortunately, I haven't got time to play twenty questions or any games with weaklings like you. Rufus: Ya'll came up here fittin' for a fight. We're just glad to oblige! Ain't no backin' out now! Let's get it on!! Rufus didn't care too much about the fact that they were VERY out numbered. ------------------------ Allison: Aaah! Arminas immediately jamed the key into the door. Arminas: Allison! What is it?! The door flew open, and Arminas ran inside. To Arminas' horror, he saw Allison's unconcious body floating within a glowing sphere. Besides the sphere stood a young man, wearing some unusual cloth wrappings around his head. He wore a black jacket with some orange cotton pants. Arminas: YOU! Lucas: You're the flying man back at the springs! What seemed like black wings made of energy appeared on the mystery man's back. Without any hesitation, the man took off the conveniently placed balcony, dragging along the energy sphere that encased Allison. Arminas: WAIT! Dammit! Lucas: It seems like he was heading towards the Crystal Forest... Let's get back down-- Arminas: Screw that. Just as Arminas was about to leap out the balcony, Lucas grabbed the back of the berserker's shirt, and dragged him back downstairs. Lucas: We don't need anymore seperations. |

| Lily shakes her head.
Lily: I'm just fine. I just got reminded of something.. Anyways.. Onward! And so, the group finally reached the cave Lily spoke of earlier. Since they were so close, they were able to see that it really wasn't a cave at all. It just happened to be a darker coloration of the mountain's base. Lily: Hm.... Lily walked around, closely examining the surroundings. Lily: Hmmmmm........ ---------------------------------- Rufus: Here Ah come! Hooo-aah! Rufus practically bowled himself into a group of soldiers. Any of the remaining soldiers that were left standing were currently being knocked down by the bandit chief's crazy legs and arms. At the same time, Rusty himself was getting in on the action. He tore through several soldiers, leaving them laying on the floor with wide open wounds and broken armor. However, it didn't seem like the bandits and Sky even had the upperhand. The red soldiers had a lot more experience in combat, and were easily keeping the bandits down. And any bandit that even stood within range of the female commander's whip was lit on fire in the blink of an eye. ------------------------ Meanwhile... Pitch: I've got the door open. Lucas: Why are you helping us? Pitch: Rufus would do the same thing, mang. Clara: I'd like to ask you something. Do you know of a swordsman with a tattoo of a snake on his arm? Lily stepped closer to the mountain wall, and pressed against a certain area. All of a sudden, several boulders passed right over her head, completely avoiding her. Lily: Eep! I.. guess that was a trap... I guess this is the only time where I should be thankful I'm so short.. Lily turns around and smiles. Lily: I guess I was wrong. The Everlight isn't here. Lily gave two nods before she started walking. Lily: It's gotta be in the Crystal Forest! Alrighty then! We'll go there by taking that duct.. She points at the odd contraption that just happened to be laying nearby. Lily: And warp over to the Crystal Forest! And.. I suppose we could probably take a short break when we get there... ------------------------------ ???: I find it impressive that you all have lasted this long, but do not think you can survive the wrath of Danielle the Violet Fire. A large, red circle appeared beneath the female commander. Her entire body was engulfed in a violet-red aura. Danielle: Eruption! The ground between Sigmund and Sky tore open, and began spewing out chunks of lava and fire. Rufus: Hot damn! Unfortunately, Rufus was right ontop of the attack's center. He was sent into spiraling into the air, trying to cool off his keister with his hands and the air. Danielle: Kyaaa ha ha ha ha haaaaa! ------------------------- Arminas and the others were successful in their escape. Lucas bidded Pitch good luck as the bandit sealed off the exit. Lucas: Now, Miss Clara Claveer... Clara: How do you know my name? 
Lucas: Your reputation as a defender of justice preceeds you. Clara nods and holds up her head. Clara: It is my duty to help those in need. |

Lily: That's the spirit! Lily stepped up to an almost flat, cylinder-like object in the floor. She tapped on the casing a bit, causing the object to lift up a bit into the air. There was a slight humming sound coming from the contraption. Lily: Alright.. Before you get in.. Think of those cool looking trees you see in souvinir shops! The ones that're, like, jewelery looking. Got it? Then hop right in.
------------------- Danielle cracked her whip, taking down another bandit. She then noticed something in the corner of her eye. She quickly snapped her weapon hand behind her, splitting the icey mass into several pieces. The chunks flew right by her, but she didn't smirk. Something had gotten by her, and cut open the flesh on her cheek. Danielle: If you would only give us the girl, we would've gladly let you go... However, I'm not too sure I can be nice now. Rufus finally landed on the ground, with his derriere fire now extinquished. However, instead of feeling relieved, he wore a rather grim face. From the elevated height he had a while ago, he was able to see how much of his people were taken down. No matter how much he and Sky were taking out, it would never bring back those he lost, nor will save the other bandits that were still in combat at the rate everyone was falling. Rufus: Yo! Rugged Goat Plan! Pronto! Rugged Goat Plan, as quirky as it sounds, was actually the signal to retreat to the Rugged Mountains. Rufus: *looks at Sky* Sorry, man. But's gotta be like this. ---------------------------------- Lucas: We're taking the path to the Crystal Forest. An abundant source of shining was seen in the distance. Lucas: It takes its name after the crystalized fiona. It's another one of the mysteries of the island; no one knows what was the cause. Lucas turns his head to Clara again. Lucas: On the other subject matter... They say you jumped into a couple's squabble and beat the man half to death. Clara: When was that?
Lucas: A few days ago. Did you not realize what you had done? Clara: No... Lucas: I've several stories like that about you. Clara: Lies, all lies. Arminas: Nice way to help people.

A young man, riding atop of a powerful, brown steed, leapt out from seemingly nowhere. The horse nearly trampled Hikari, who was busy leaping out of the way. After the interesting hit and run, the man continued off to the north. Hikari: As soon as some nut comes rollin' to town, the action won't stop for a while. Hum.. did you see the ponytail on that fella? .... Mitra! Hikari soon realized that Mitra was swept up by the same horse rider that had just appeared out of nowhere. It seemed like Glenn's words were short lived. Hikari: Not again! |

| Everything suddenly went dark for Ark. It was as if someone threw a thick blanket over him and pulled him beneath the earth.
Ark felt his arm being tugged a bit. Lily: Drenchy! Dark Man! Over here! All of a sudden, light came flooding back into Ark's eyes. It was a spectacular display to behold. There were patches of crystalized grass here and there that stuck out like crystal shards in a cave. The trees were all transluscent, and towered high above everyone. Lily finished pulling out the Drow out of the strange transporter when she plopped herself onto the ground. Lily: Whooo.. Break time! Break time! ---------------------- Lucas: The spirit in which you follow is quite admirable... but perhaps it'd be wise if you think about the concequences of your actions. Clara: .. She had jumped back onto her horse She gave out a little sigh while she gave the horse a little pet. Hikari: Come on, guys. I reckon it'd be a better idea for us to get to Mitra before the other two. I don't like their tones... The new kidnapper was already out of the city limits. And due to that, there wasn't anywhere for him to hide in. That is, unless you cound the mountain in the distance. |
