| A smile ran across Lily's face. She continued walking, but didn't turn her head.
Lily: So.. are you joining my party then? The next thing Arminas knew, the townspeople scattered away from him, except for four girls. For some reason, old 50's rock 'n roll music began to play in the distance. A song was going to start.... Man: Back me up, chorus girls! Hey you there causing trouuuuu-ble.. Don't you know the rules of this town? Chorus: What if you break them?! Man: Ohh noo! Chorus: What might happen to you?! Man: Brrrrrr! Both the man and woman leap down from the fountain. Both are dancing, along with the four girls. The man holds out his left arm, while the woman spins around beside him. Man: Thooooooooooooosse who break the ruuuuuuuules-uh... will get to feeeeeeeeel the iron hammer of justice-uh.... and hear its thunderous peal! Townspeople: Yeah! They're defenders of justice! Man: If there's a crime we'll stop it! If there's a brawl we'll squash it! Coz that's our giiiiiiiiiiiig! Chorus: *holds up right arms, with a closed fist* Go Bouncers! The man steps towards Arminas, pointing at the red haired boy. Man: Yo! You got it? |

Man: Well, hold on there, brother! We came to investigate a trouble around here! The man slowly approached Arminas and Sky. It seemed like Arminas couldn't take it anymore. Arminas: Are you people deaf!? And in one swift punch, the man was sent reeling, holding onto his stomach. Townsman1: Aaaahh! Do you know who that is?! Do you realize what you've done?! Arminas: He started it.  |

Lily tilted her head. Lily: Of course, I invited you first. Now, let's see... I'll call you Dark Man, and.. Lily looks over at Ark. Lily: I'll call you Drenchy! ------------------------- Curtis: Heh heh... hah hah hah hah hah hah. Townsman2: Curis is angry! He's angry! You're in trouble noowww. Curtis: Isabella! I find myself filled with the most intense sadness! Curtis stands up straight, as Isabella quickly stands beside him. Isabella: Yes, Curtis. Curtis: Now I must harden my heart! I must swallow my tears! All for the sake of reforming this wayward youth! Isabella: Yes, Curtis. Curtis: *holds up hand* Still! It must be done, for the sake of love! *points at Arminas* Beauty is power! Great Bantam! Isabella: *spins around and holds out both arms* Beauty is sin! Wonder Bantam! Curtis: Prepare yourself! We are the Bantam Bouncers! Arminas: .... Oh, hell... Both Curtis and Isabella lunge towards Arminas. | Lily: Ah yes.. where we're going.. See that mountain over there?
Lily pointed to the mountain range that seemed like a very good walk to reach. Lily: It's actually around the other side. We have to walk along the coast that's three o'clock from here, take it 2 o'clock until we pass the mountain range, then go around nine or ten o'clock until we find some caverns. *nod nod* -------------------- Arminas narrows his eyes a bit. He takes a step towards Sky, but stops. Arminas: I came here to wait for Lucas. Unless you know where the bandit Rufus Gorrila stays at, then you're wasting my time. A tall, slender man in a beige cloak walked into the plaza. His brown eyes were hidden behind spectacles, which were reflecting the sunlight pretty strongly. He saw Arminas, and the Bantam Bouncers. He breathed in deeply as he ran his hair through his medium cut, brown hair. Lucas Yukin was the sheriff of the village, but he pretty much prefers to stick to doing research. Arminas: About damned time! Lucas: Arminas, what's going on here? Lucas eyes the knocked out Curtis and Isabella. Arminas: They tried to pick a fight with me Lucas: Is that the whole story? Arminas: Look, I don't have anymore time to be wasting. Tell me where the bandits' lair is! Lucas: You shouldn't be so hasty, Arminas. You're bound for trouble if you rush in there with that attitude. Arminas: If you don't tell me right now, then buzz off. Lucas shakes his head in disappointment. |

| Kirbynite holds out both of his hands.
Kirbynite: Or I can use the holy attribute of my Light's Blessing..... HEY! Why are we wasting time in here?! Kirbynite held out his sword. A red aura trickled out of his arm and onto the sword. He took a few steps towards the circling Gibdos until his sword was eminating a red glow. Kirbynite: Here we go! The Dreamlander lunges at the Gibdos, and in one quick slash, he downed several of the mummies. Kirbynite: Piece of cake. Ka'ae: Uh.. you sure? The tiny dragon inside Kirbynite's hat peeked out to point out the wrappings on the Gibdos were burnt off. The now ReDeads were slowly getting back up. Kirbynite: Oh.. um.. Ok, I can still take them.. Just as he finished that sentence, several blood curling screams started to flood the area. Kirbynite: I.... can't.... move... |

| Lucas: Actually, that's not a bad idea, But I'm still uneasy about it. Instead of having two people who're new to the island going out there, there'll be three, and it might not sit well with my conscious... However, you don't seem to be as brash--Hey, where do you think you're going?
Lucas leaned a bit to see Arminas walking towards the town's exit. Arminas: I don't need extra weight slowing me down. I'm gonna find it myself. Lucas: *looks at Sky* Forgive me. Lucas holds out a hand and points at Arminas. A glow was emitted from the man's finger tips as the wind around him started to whip around. Lucas: Lightning! And in one quick flash, Arminas was struck down to the ground. Arminas: Aaah.. Crystal ome usersss... 
Lucas: Don't worry, it's as powerful as giving him a knock on the head. Lucas walks over to Arminas's body. |

| Kirbynite: Phew...
The Dreamlander felt his tensed muscles relax a bit, allowing him to move once again. Kirbynite: Thanks, Sky... but.. If these creatures keep running amuck here, then that person Kalar was talking about won't be able to leave the house. That, and I'm too impatient to take my time. It's time for me to show you a trick I just learned... Kirby took a deep breath. He sheaths his sword behind him, and holds out both of his arms. A white aura begins to swirl around both hands right before he claps his hands. Without seperating them, Kirbynite rears his hands above him, and then slams them into the ground. Kirbynite: Light's Blessing Shockwave! All of the white aura surrounding his hands quickly disappeared into the ground. A few moments later, a strong wind blew out of from where Kirbynite stood. The wind took out the walls of fire, and caused all of the Gibdos and Redeads to fall to the floor and writhe in pain as they slowly melted away. Kirbynite: Heh, hope you don't mind me not taking my time. |

| Hikari: I'm just glad I was able to finish my drink before they ran a man through it.
Hikari let out a dreamy sigh as she greeted the horses. Her short bliss was interupted by a 'YEEE-HAW!' coming from inside the saloon. A burly man in a trenchcoat lept out of the front window. There was a flowing stream of golden strands and feathers tagging behind the man as he hopped onto a horse. Burly Man: Let's git! Aparantly, the strange stretchy berserker inside didn't take out the only man to not participate in a fight. Hikari glanced at the man taking off on the horse. She didn't give it much attention as he took off to the eastern edge of town. Hikari: ... Wait a minute, he's got a hold of Mitra. |

Arminas was a bit strained in his talk. Arminas: She's... my sister, ok? Now just give back the paper. Lucas: Sister? Curtis: A brother must run to a sister when she is in trouble! It seemed Curtis was just fine, with the way he appeared beside Lucas. Lucas: That would explain his behavior.. but still.. being so brash.. Curtis: The power of LOVE cannot be held down, brother! Lucas: *sighs* That would have to mean I'm going to have to babysit another child... and knowing Sigmund, an old baby. Arminas sighed as he reluctantly took Sky's hand. Lucas: Well, let's get going. *looks at Sky* I hope you don't mind asking you to come along, seeing as how you were going as well. I was requested to find a rather spirited young lady who decided to go on a rescue mission. |

| Curtis: Ow!
Lucas: Well, there isn't really much to finding the bandits' lair. We have to take a walk straight north through the mountain path, and we'll eventually find the lair. Arminas: You could've told me that. Lucas: Oh, honestly... Lucas sighed as he tried to keep up with Arminas's pace. The vast fields greeted all who entered it, with its beautiful emerald grass, and its strong oak trees. There were a few animals here and there, such as a bunnies with a horn on its head, and large stork-like birds. Unfortunately, since the path the adventurers were gonna take were not on the path that leads to the nearby port, they were gonna have to actually deal with brushings with those animals. The unibunnies and large birds were known to be carniverous, which everyone would probably label such beasts as monsters. |

Lily stops in her tracks. Lily: Allow me to introduce you to Neo Grape Gardens! The island that continues to float whether we like it or not! She reaches into her pink pouch on her right hip, and pulls out a compass. Lily: This thing is, like, almost useless on this island. There are times where the island will actually turn around to avoid hiting land or something. I've never understood it myself.. but that's not important! The hours mean the direction we walk in. Understood? 
-------------------------- It wasn't even two minutes before Arminas's group was attacked by the wildlife. And it wasn't even ten seconds before the monsters all hit the ground, unconcious. Lucas: Stop running in so recklessly. Arminas dusted himself off a bit. Arminas: We won, ok? Stop preaching. Lucas: You're talking to me? |

| Lucas: Actually, these creatures pose a threat only to those without any fighting abilities. The stronger ones live deeper in the island, of course.
Arminas: Looks like we found that "spirited young lady" you were talking about. Lucas: *sighs* If only it were that easy. Arminas: Huh? Lucas: Let's just say this is yet another person I have to look after, whoever it is. Arminas: ... wha? Lucas let out an irritated grunt before he headed off to find out the source of the scream. |

| Lily: That's where a crystal ome user would come in handy.. But that's only if a crystal ome user's body has been acquainted with the island long enough. Since it doesn't seem, like, you guys've been here long enough, don't worry about it! My directions are foolproof. Especially since I've made sure to refer to the geological locations sketched on maps by all the eggheads who come visit this place.
------------------------ Arminas: Grr... All these people are just slowing us down.. Arminas was busy scribbling something down on some paper, while trying to follow lucas, when a bear with two huge tusks lunged out of the nearby bushes. The young man in the blue tunic quickly ducked, allowing the bear to soar over him. Arminas: Grr.. another monster.. Arminas let out an irritated sigh as he continued to scribble on his paper. Lucas: Please excuse that one. We're actually in the middle of a rescue mission.. as well as retrieving someone as reckless as Arminas is. Arminas: Whatever. Lucas: Cassandra, was it? I take it you just arrived on the port nearby. My name is Lucas Yukin. You could say I'm the sheriff of Southern Light. Lucas seemed a bit uneasy himself. Arminas: Oh come on!!! Don't tell me we're already bein' sidetracked! Lucas: I cannot allow her to walk to the village by herself. I'll take her to the village and quickly com-- Cassandra: N-No.. it's alright.. I can come with.. Lucas: Eh.. Arminas: Come on, we don't have time to be wastin' here! Lucas looked over at Sky.. but he had a feeling of some sort.. Lucas: It doesn't seem like I'm going to win here. Very well, she can come along, but make sure to keep on the look out when we're engaged with the monsters. Cassandra gave a nod. ((Thanks for giving me permission to use her character, Sky  )) |

Lily stood tall (well, as tall as she could anyway) and pointed to the coast. Lily: Onward! Oh! Right! Now I know the real reason we stopped. Those guys! The girl pointed at several large tortoises that were walking about the sandy beaches. It seemed like there was some sand castles on their backs. There were clotheslines running through the sandy towers, with actual clothes hanging from them. Lily: Base turtles! You guys are ome users! Take them out! Lily tried to speak in a comforting voice.. as comforting as she could, one would suppose. Lily: They bite, and they spit out blasts of water and sand.. But I'm sure you guys can take them. 
--------------------------------- Arminas: Finally. While Snipes was left to ponder over the singed ground, the rest of the group was almost at the mountain range. The grassy hills were slowly losing their brilliant green, and being replaced by bland pebbles and the like. There was a slight fog appearing around the area, but it was nothing to feel hassled about. Lucas: Everyone be on the look out. Rufus' men don't lurk around here, but there are random bandits, as well as wolves on the prowl. ((Sorry, Sukasa, there was already a pretty big distance anyways )) |
