((Beautiful stance, yo ))

Rawk Hawk: Harharharharharhar! You wimps should've stayed locked up, safe and sound!

Supa Dreamlander: BASTARD! YOU WERE BEHIND THIS!

Rawk Hawk: You're darn right I am! I also sent you that poisoned cake, suckers! That's what happens when you mess with me, baby! You meet the pain train!

Kirby had a brief flashback of being paralyzed before a fight just because he ate a piece of cake that was supposedly a gift to his team.

Supa Dreamlander: You.. bastard... Behind that... and the cake... and the email threat about the Star Stone...

Rawk Hawk: Huh? I have no idea what you're babbling about now. A Star Stone? I don't deal with technonerdiness. I'd prefer to le-- No, wait... I DON'T CARE! I may not play exactly fair, but I got skills, punks! And now you're about to meet 'em all, baby! Prepare to be RAAAAAAAAAAAWKED!

Supa Dreamlander: I'LL SHOW YOU RAWKED!

Kirby started growling very loudly. He put his hands to his head as he stumbled around, gritting his teeth. He yelled out at the top of his lungs as he slammed his fists onto the ground. It felt like time slowed down for Kirby while the ground shook. He watched Rawk Hawk and his cronies slowly trip and fall on their faces before being blasted into the air by the aftereffect of Kirby's attack: a forceful shockwave.

It was almost as if Kirby had dropped a bomb into the ring.

The cronies landed back on the ground on their backs, and were slowly getting back up. However, Rawk Hawk had recovered in mid-air and was hanging from one of the spotlights above.

While it was bright and sunny on the other side of the world, the sun had already set on yet another altered soul in Japan. Much like the rest of the country, another part of life had just woken up in Roppongi. Neon lights, hanging lanterns, and more had provided enough light to show that the day was not over with. Not even the rain could keep this city still.

If you were an overworked businessman, this was the place to relax. If you were the older employer that was overworking that other businessman, this was the place to relax. If you were an off-duty military person, this was the place to relax. If you were a young, homeless girl, Roppongi was probably not an ideal place to be.

Oshi: < Good business today. This rain means nothing to me. >

Oshi was the owner of store that could be considered as a watered down source of entertainment, if you were to compare it to the rest of the city. Movies, video games, graphic novels, and the occasional sweet treat was all that was provided by this store, give or take a few toys and dolls. It was definitely a place to check out if you were a young person from outside of the country, which is why it’s often looked down upon by patrons of the nearby bars and clubs.

But Oshi didn’t care. He owned his own business, and had a nice, calm life. Well, it was not always calm.

Oshi: < Did something fall? Damn. I thought I had fixed up the displays.. >

Oshi pulled out the keys to the store, basically right after he had locked the place up. He let out a sigh as he opened the door, thinking he should probably fix whatever fell the next day.

All of a sudden, a short figure ran out from the shadows and pushed the shop owner aside. The figure, garbed in a tattered hoody-sweater and tattered pants, was carrying several books and a movie between her arms, and a box of pocky hanging out her mouth.

Oshi: < Gah! It’s you again! >

The figure whipped around the front of the store, making it out of Oshi’s reach.

Foreign Man: OH SHhhiii…

Oshi: Nani?

A random passerby, a man from outside the country, almost collided with the little thief, and mistakenly caught Oshi’s attention with his near usage of foul language. It was then Oshi realized he lost track of the thief.

Oshi: < Damn! I already lost her! Grr.. I can’t wait until one of those men from the pubs find her and make her pay for all that she’s stolen from me! >

Oshi let out a sigh while the foreign man shook his head and continued walking.

Oshi: < No.. I don’t really mean that.. But I would just wish she’d stop this.. Ah.. It seems you win, rain. >

-------------------------

A lone figure ran across a lonely street, and approached a rundown building with a flickering light post in front of it. The shadow made sure no one was watching and crawled in through an opening around the back of the building.

After a few minutes of wandering through darkness, the figure leaned on a wall, and slid all the way down to the slightly grimy floor. There was a click, causing a small television to turn on and shine some light into the room, which revealed the thief’s face. It was a young girl with long, red hair, wearing a pair of broken glasses. Most people in the city think she dyed her hair, or extremely dirty skin, but she actually had unusually shiny hair and her skin was actually rather dark with a slight blue-violet tint.

A traveling nun had once caught the girl, and attempted to wash away the child’s body. However, the nun was pretty much shocked to find out that the little girl’s skin was actually becoming darker and shiner, as the dirt was making her skin lighter than it was. While it was nice to have a free bath, the girl finally resisted being bathed as the nun was so determined that skin was being scratched off.

The girl opened up her freshly stolen package of pocky, and began munching away on its artificially sweetened goodness. The light from the television revealed a bit of the room. Aside from some candy wrappers, clipped wires, and scattered electronic devices, the room was actually quite clean, considering a homeless girl was living inside a vacant building. The girl would often gather all of the trash she accumulated and snuck it into someone else’s. A building with a stench would most likely attract unwanted attention, right?

This was how life was for Rushuna. She has no dreams, no aspirations for life. All she wanted to be was left alone.

Rawk Hawk: Pbbth! Not too shabby! You're better than I thought. This may actually be fun! Don't get your head swelled, though, 'cause you got a ways to go! Check this out!

Rawk Hawk thrusts a hand downward, pointing at the platform below.

Rawk Hawk: TIME TO RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWK!

However, the champ finally realized that he was holding onto the spotlight for too long. Infact, it was burning his hands. He let out a yelp, and fell towards the platform. Fortunately for the giant bird, he shook off the pain and realigned himself so he'd stomp one of the opposing team members with his big ol' boots.

Meanwhile, Kirby had let loose a few growls before zooming towards a stunned Rawk Hawk flunky. There was a trail of darkness behind the berserking hero as he began to flail and pummel the chicken man.

Kirby's tunnel vision was shifted as he heard his name mentioned. He turned his head upwards to see where the voice was coming from, and all of a sudden, he let out a rather angry roar as the target of his rage seemed to be hurling towards him.

He continued to yell as Rawk Hawk continued to move towards him. And as the chicken man's head was inches away from Kirby, time had seemed to slow down for the berserking hero. He clenched his hands into fists, and launched himself into the air. His head collided with Rawk Hawk's setting off another shockwave that blasted Rawk Hawk straight into the spotlights above.

Kirby backflipped, due to the recoil, onto the platform, and starting panting very hard.

Rawk Hawk: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I... Rawk Hawk... The champ.. the undefeated master.... I've lost to such.. losers... Yuuuurgh..

Grubba: Folks, Ah feel like mah eyes just popped outta mah head! We got ourselves a miracle! Technique versus technique (well, sorta) ! Raw power versus raw power! A clash of superhumans! Folks, this was truly, honestly, without question, no doubt, absolutely... The most legendary, amazin', improbably, history-makin' bout of all TIME! And the victor this match fer the ages was.... sUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAMLANDERRRR AND COMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPANYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! Congratulations, ya'll! Yer the champs!! Give 'em a hand, folks! The new Glitz Pit champs!

The crowd just about exploded. The fight didn't last long, but it was still the most amazing thing they've seen. Conefetti, balloons, streamers, all sorts of celebration objects rained all over the arena.

Kirby stood hunched over, with his arms outstretched. He was in a state of confusion, twitching his head side to side.

Grubba: Well, you finally did it! Today's ya'll's first day as the new champs! Ah'm sure ya'll share the belt nice-like.

Grubba slaps Kirby's back, and hands the star studded belt over to him. Kirby hopped and turned around. He simply stared at Grubba.

Grubba: The champ's room is already bein' fitted for ya'll to settle in. It's been a while since we had to break out more beds, but don't worry, they're all fit for champions! Ms. Jolene should be waitin' outside for ya'll and the rest of your team.

The front door of the building was, as expected, boarded up. Of course, a little board pulling will solve that problem.

Rushuna felt herself suddenly wake up for no reason. It was still dark out, probably four or five in the morning. She pushed the threadbare blanket off her upper body, and pulled her self up.

But she heard something.. "Could it be someone.. outside..?"

She waited a few moments when she heard talking outside the front door. She gasped as quietly as she could and immediately took action.

The little girl always had a plan prepared in the case of an emergency, such as being found out where she lived. After putting her glasses on, she crawled towards a pile of electronic devices, and picked up a portable gaming device, an AC adapter, and what seemed like a clunky action figure. She then placed it into a small, blue pouch, which had a box of sweets inside it. Pocky, of course.

It was time for the second part of her plan. She got up to her feet, and slowly walked towards the back of the house. Rushuna did all this with barely any light seeping through the boarded windows. It was that same light that clued her that someone was standing around the back entrance.

"No... No! How does someone know..?" Rushuna's mind was running rampant with thoughts.

Yet Another Man: Hello? Don't be afraid. We would like to speak with you.

Rushuna gasped silently again. The voice she heard was in the language she occasionally heard. Foreign or not, she wanted nothing to do with the man standing outside 'her' house.

Without anymore hesitation, she dashed towards the front of the house, only to find out that there were two people standing outside. She shook her head, quietly saying 'no..'. She was already spotted.

Woman: < Rushuna-sama, will you allow us to speak with you? >

Rushuna was stricken with an immense amount of fear. She, however, had enough willpower to let her legs move her away from the door, and up the stairs. She ran as fast as she could, stumbling after every few steps. She finally made it to the top floor, but there was nowhere to hide. She had never come up with a plan involving the third floor. She then heard voices coming from downstairs.

A Man: < Please forgive our intrusion into your home, but we would like you to come with us on urgent matters. >

Rushuna: < Go away! >

Rushuna was pressed against a wall while she saw three bodies emerge from the flight of stairs.

A Man: < We are your friendly neighborhood ice cream sellers. We have selected you to receive treats and other things children find favorable, as well as the tester for new products! >

Rushuna: < I don’t care! Leave me alone! >

The man shrugged while the woman shook her head.

Woman: < Please excuse this ignorant fool. Rushuna-sama, we want you to come with us. We have a few questions to ask, and you can decide what to do after that. >

Rushuna: < I said I don’t care! Go away! >

Woman: < We have no desire to hurt you-- >

Rushuna: < GO AWAY! I’m not a stupid little kid! I know how things work here! >

A Man: < Rushuna-sama likes cartoons, right? Video games? It’ll be just like a video game! You’ll have an adventure, a few questions here and there, and have fun! >

Rushuna: < Don’t treat me like a little kid! I know the difference between fantasy and reality. And besides, there’s always something terrible happening in fantasies these days! Terrible things! I don’t want to be a part of it! Go away! >

Yet Another Man: Oh for the love of…

The second man’s hand dove into a pocket inside his jack and pulled out a gun. He pointed it at Rushuna, and immediately pulled the trigger. The little girl shut her eyes and let out a yelp. She slowly slid down the wall until she fell limp on the floor.

Woman: Oh geeze…

Yet Another Man: What? It’s obvious she wasn’t going to come with us on her own.

Woman: It was still a little over the top..

A Man: Well, she’s not resisting us now, so we might as well put that tranquilizer to good use.

Megaman.EXE: Kirb, there's a lot of defenses in here.. I mean, sure, you call me a hero type and all, but that doesn't mean a little help won't be bad, right? .... Kirby? Kirbynite, are you there?

The navi slowly trekked across translucent walkways, occasionally dealing with viruses modified to serve as Melvin Robo G's defenses in the cyber world. He expected these waves of easy viruses to end soon, as it'd eventually waste more cycles than it would to generate stronger ones.

Kirbynite: Sorry, Rock I was kinda... thrown out of range. I'm keeping my distance, but I don't think I want to dive at him again. I'll send you some chips..

Kirbynite's navi stood still for a moment, and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, a green shield formed around him.

Megaman.EXE: Most of these chips are defensive. What gives?

Kirbynite: I wouldn't doubt that you'll eventually deal with long range enemies.

Megaman.EXE: Oh, right, like me, with a PET user that prefers things with agility, is going to be hit by a sniper.

Kirbynite: Don't get cocky. With those chips, you'll atleast survive long enough to find out if there is a long range attacker.

Megaman.EXE: ... Why are you still talking to me? Shouldn't you be fighting?

Kirbynite: ... Because... I'm kinda.. following him. I'm waiting until Gooey tells me where Heavy Lobster is, or when there's another attack being launched on Melvin..

Kirby felt the world coming back to him as he slowly walked off the platform. He put his hands over his face and rubbed hard.

Supa Dreamlander: Oh...ohh.. I feel so exhausted..

And right on cue, he spotted Jolene and Fem standing by the broken doors. He quickly ran up to Fem, and picked Yami right up (carefully, of course).

Supa Dreamlander: Yami! How're you doing?

Yami: Yoshi!

Jolene: Well then, Champions.... Would you follow me, please?

The first thing everyone sees in the room they were led into is some nice shaggy carpetting. There were stacks of presents in one corner, a kitchen in another corner, weights in yet another, and a doorway to the beds in the fourth corner. This was like a high class condo.

Jolene: Congratulations once again. From now on, this is where you'll stay. It's your room now, so make youself at home. And the terminal by the door is always there for you to use. Well then, have a nice day, champions.

Jolene fixes her glasses and heads out the door.

Supa Dreamlander: Yami! We did it! We've finally made it, Yami!

Yami: Yoshi!

Kirby swings Yami around as he plops himself onto a beanbag.

Spekkio: You're kidding, right? You just got yourself a nice home.. And you even created something for yourself, and something is still bothering you?

Arminas: Something's always bothering me, Spekkio. It's just that it's bothering me more than usual. I made my peace with that Clara girl.

Spekkio: Sounded more just a random conversation.

Arminas: She wasn't being mean to me, though. And that other girl... ahh.. Mikami. I think I might've insulted her and I don't even know why.

Spekkio: Arminas, I'm telling you. You need to keep your distance, or you'll get your head lopped off.

Arminas: I just don't want to start off meeting new people, and having them being so antagonistic towards me, okay? I know I everyone isn't gonna accept at once, but I'd like not having every new person hating me.

Arminas snorted as he got up from his bed.

Spekkio: Where are you going?

Arminas: Out for a walk. Maybe I'll get a chance to say sorry to her.

Meanwhile, Arminas slowly walked across the walkways, staring at his brand new sword.

Arminas: Hey.. maybe I should try this out...

He gripped the sword's hilt with both of his hands, and began swinging it around. Instead of slashing at the air wildly, he actually tried to figure out which method of swinging felt more comfortable.

Arminas: I've never used a sword before.. but.. something is telling me that this thing is flimsy..

There was a loud clap of thunder that nearly startled Arminas off the walkway. He looked towards the Central Tower and sighed. It does not look like he was going to sneak off into the labryinth.

There was a pretty dull look on Lily as Pedro nervously finished the story. She took a few steps around, eyeing a few random trinkets Max had laying around.

Lily: Really, now. I'd love to say something like that's the most absurd thing, but there really has been an outbreak of missing socks here... So.. I'll believe ya.

Grey heard footsteps behind him. Like highheels clicking on the floor. He suddenly realized maybe he should have turned around...

---------------------

Supa Dreamlander: I better go in there without the glasses..

Kirby pulls his sunglasses and cape off. He changes his shirt out with his normal white one, and puts on a blue jacket. He then fixes his bandana to be tied around his head.

Kirby: Ah! This is much better for covert missions! And besides... I better get Yami used to this...

Kirby puts a hand to his lips and gives out a "shhh" to Yami. Yami, in return, does the same. Kirby couldn't help but smile and huggle Yami.

Kirby: Lemme go in there myself, guys. I'll let you guys know anything via codec. My frequency's 057.42. Don't ask how, please.

Kirby takes a few steps closer to the other end of the air ducts... creeping in as quietly as he could...

Kirby grits his teeth. He closes his eyes and presses a finger onto his ear.

Kirby: ~Did you get that, guys?~

"...better lock this room up tighter 'n a peanut butter jar at a squirrel convention. And the paper goes here... Shoo... Since Ah'm talkin' aloud, here.. Good fighters ain't nothin' to mess with. Even Rawk Hawk lost to Supa D. This new champ might have to disappear purty soon. For mah sake..."

Kirby: ~For now, just wait... I think he's going to leave the room...~

Grubba stood up from his seat and fixes his hat. He then waddles towards the door and steps out. Kirby then proceeds to kick the vent out.

Kirby: It's not like anyone can hear me outside the soundproof walls....

Kirby hops down onto the floor. He quickly eyes the desk, and walks up to it. He opens one drawer, which is filled with office supplies. He leans towards the other drawer, and notices it's locked. He pulls out a paper clip, and begins to work some magic on the locked drawer. The drawer then pops open, revealing a lonely piece of paper.

Kirby: Oh snap! ~Guys! I found blueprints for a machine that uses a Star Stone! And it's integrated underneath the ring! Um.... From what I can tell, it looks like it uses the Star Stone's power to drain people of their.. well, power.~

Kirby looked at the paper a bit more.

Kirby: Bandy Andy and King K must've been drained...

BRRRRRRRRINNNNN!

Grubba: GREAT GALLOPIN' GULPITS! How in tarnation did YOU get in here, son? Well, slap me an' call me Sassafras! Yer starin' at mah secret paper, too!

Kirby: Quiet, you! You make me sick! Why'd you drain King K and Bandy Andy, huh? And you planning on draining me and my friends, too, huh?

Grubba: T-that's you, Supa Dreamlander? Whoa, nelly! This ain't good!

Kirby: ~Guys, did you hear that? I'm chasing Grubba right now, he just ran out the door.~
