On the walkway before the Central Tower stood a tall man with a band aid on his cheek and a short and round girl with a droopy pink hat on her head. Kunio wore an off-white shirt that had its sleeves torn off, brown pants, a pair of leather gauntlets with straps as well as boots that were strapped. He also wore a modified apron that held his tools by his sides. Kunio: Well, I'm headin' back to the Silver Guild. Come an' find me after the opening ceremony. And ya better win the tournament b'cause I don't work with second class apprentices! A big smile appeared on Kunio's rugged face as he started walking towards the Silver Guild building. Lily gave a nervous smile. Lily: (Old man's not exactly filling me with confidence.) 
Lily was a Lilty, who wore a pink shirt, a yellow skirt, a short pink scarf, and oversized gauntlets and boots. Her reddish, leaf-like hair hung from her long hat reached down to her shoulder, which seemed very similar to a normal human's strands of hair. Lily: Alright. To the Central Tower! C'mon, Pommy! Pommy: Kupo! Out of nowhere, a fuzzy white creature flew towards Lily. The creature was of a Moogle species, as it had the typical tiny bat-like wings on the back and the round ball-like antennae on its head. However, the difference with this Moogle was that its shape was similar to that of a beach ball. It wasn't fat at all, that's just how it was, and it enhanced its cuteness. ----------------------- "The ceremony will be starting soon.." Upon hearing the voice of an official, Arminas tried to move away from the center of the room. He was still hoping he'd be lost in the crowd. ???: What? What do you want? Arminas had bumped into a girl with long, blue hair, with long bangs covering her left eye. Arminas felt a bit intimidated from the cold look he got. Arminas: Er.. don't mind meh. Jus' findin' a good lookin' spot. Eh heh.. The girl blinked for a moment before turning her attention to the front of the room. Arminas let out a sigh before looking around. He decided to stay put. Arminas: (Atleast I'm not the only one stickin' out.. With this girl, that Ctarl-Ctarl behind, and a few of those other chumps over there... Man, what the heck is going on here?) Arminas calmly shuffled his feet backwards. He slightly tilted his head ans poke quietly. Arminas: Hey.. uh.. What're we waitin' for? | Arminas remained quiet after Draco responded.
Arminas: (Tournament... Oh, that's right.. I heard about it after that quake took out my shelter..) Arminas's face went into a slight frustration. Arminas: (Man, I need to find a way to get out of here.) --------------------- Officer: Entrance Ticket, please. Lily: Right here! 
Lily, who was now inside the second floor of the Central Tower, hands a piece of paper over to a man garbed in a blue robe. Officer: Ah.. Welcome Lily. The opening ceremony is taking place in this hall. Enter, please. Lily: Thank you! C'mon, Pommy! Pommy: Kupo! Lily stepped inside the door and looked around. Lily: Whoa... There's, like, a lot of people here. Pommy tried its best to stick next to Lily as she tried to find herself an opened spot. "Welcome to the opening ceremony of the Craftlord tournament!" Arminas: (I knew it!) Lily: (This is it! Ooh.. I'm getting nervous...) |

| "Lubert, the Craftlord of Amber."
A hunched over man with a very thin mustache, standing infront of everyone, held up his head. "Ureksa, the Craftlord of Jade..." A man with streaked hair that covered one eye, also standing infront of everyone, crossed his arms. "And Sakuro, the Craftlord of Sapphire." A man wearing glasses, standing between the other two, nodded his head. "These three masters have deigned to address you, and you would be wise to heed their words. Arminas: (I think I'm barely clinging onto my luck. I'm stuck in the same room as three craftlords! Well, if I get out of this, I can do anything.) Lubert took a step forward, and ran his hand through his slicked back brown hair. Lubert: Welcome, apprentices. Welcome, children of the Craftknights who defend the City of Swords. Ureksa kept his arms crossed as he spoke. Ureksa: Today begins the tournement in which the skills you have learned will be tested. Sakuro fixed his glasses for a moment before Ureksa finished speaking. Sakuro: Years ago, we had lost our strongest and most respected Craftlords. And with the recent disapperance of Tyram, the Craftlord of Crystal, we decided we need to find a replacement for these men, joining the Craftlords of Wystern... as the guardians and protectors of Parista, the spirit that dwells within the holy sword. A position has been prepared for one of the apprentices in this chamber.. And we will determine which of you standing before us is worthy of claiming this position. Lubert: The majority of you lack the skill to be a worthy apprentice, let alone a Craftlord. Lily: (Even these guys don't have much confidence in us!) Lubert: But all of you possess the gift of youth, and a few of you, the potential that comes with it. We must harness that potential to protect Wystern. We must do whatever is needed to fortify the City of SWords! ???: I should think a Craftlord would know better than to have such a flawed opinion. Lily shifted her head to see where the voice came from. It came from a male Lilty in rather proper clothing. ???: How does he explain all the adults in this city who cannot craft a decent weapon? Lily: Who is that, and why is he so full of himself? Doesn't he know how unattractive that is?

First order of business: Try not to be totally lazy with an intro. It doesn't hurt to introduce your character with style and making it part of the story.... Oh, and more than one line ))
Lily: .... All of a sudden, the Clavat girl with the dark blue hair infront of Arminas held her head up high and spoke up. Blue Haired Clavat: The next Craftlord should be strong and beautiful.... Just like me. Arminas: (That girl is almost as full of herself as that boy...) Lily: (It's great to see another girl in the tournament. I hope I'll make a new friend.) Just then, a kid wearing a huge yellow shirt, yellow shorts, and even a yellow bandana, spoke up. Yellow Kid: Heh! Look at all these worry-warts! I'm guarenteed to win this tournament! Lily: (Holy cow! He must be the youngest one in the tournament! I hope he doesn't get hurt.. Oh! What am I doing? I need to pay attention to the Craftlords!) Sakuro: To test your skills and to see which of you is worthy of becoming a Craftlord, you are allowed to fight only with weapons that you have crafted yourself. A battle is won when your opponent yields to you, or when their weapon breaks. We will allow your masters to aid you in the forging of your weapons. We will also allow you to receive assistance during your battles... But only one partner is allowed during battle. Arminas: (I bet he's talking about a Guardian Beast... Damnit.. | Sakuro: All of you are hereby granted passage into the dungeon of the Central Tower. There, you can collect materials with which to craft your weapons. The person who possesses the keys to the dungeon will bring one to each of you later on.
Arminas: (Huh.... I think I heard the dungeon eventually leads to the shrine of Parista...) Sakuro: There are many dangers in this dungeon, placed there to insure the safety of the great Parista. These dangers will not be lessened or removed for you. Sakuro's face seemed to have turned into a rather stern one. Sakuro: You will have to confront them and overcome them on your own. If you cannot defend yourself, you are not worthy of being in this tournament. Lily: (Gulp...) Sakuro: As for who you will fight in each round of the tournament... Arminas: (Geeze, how long am I gonna be stuck here?) Sakuro: Your opponent will be announced by the Central Tower before the start of your battle. Arminas: (Wow, that's kinda strange for a tourney.. Sakuro: You must always remember the Craftknight's code. A sword is not strength. A sword is not skill. A sword is not fellowship. Let the code guide your efforts. They will be rewarded. Friendships will be forged in the heat of battle. When your skill is sharpest and your weapon is deadliest, you will be your own master. I sincerely hope that one of you, or perhaps four depending on how the last four will fare, will become our equal, and join us as a Craftlord. That is all! "The ceremony is complete!" Lily: Hey! Sami! Flinchy! Lily ran over to Taro and Sasami, followed by Pommy the moogle. Lily: You guys could've atleast waited for me! Sure, I might've been late... But it would've been great for me to not stand next to people I don't know! Lubert and Ureksa had already left. The room, thanks to having one door, was slowly becoming empty. It was then Arminas decided to make his move. Sakuro: Arminas. Arminas: Gack! Sakuro: When did you get an entrance ticket? Arminas was about to run until Sakuro mentioned the ticket. The officer by the door overheard the ticket comment and pushed his way through the door. Arminas: (Damn! I knew I didn't have enough luck..) Sakuro: Oh, here it is... Arminas, you dropped your ticket over here. Arminas: .... The officer quirked a brow before heading back out. Arminas turned around rather slowly and started to walk towards Sakuro. |

Lily: Hey, come on, you slowpokes! Don't you wanna see what Master Kunio has to show us?! Lily grabbed Taro and Sasami's hands and pulled them both along. Sakuro looked at Arminas for a bit. His eyes then shifted around the room, waiting for most of the apprentices to have left the room. His voice was a bit low, which made Arminas figure the conversation was not meant to be widely public. Meanwhile, Arminas's eyes were slightly narrowed, and seemed to lack life. Sakuro: Arminas... You're just about a young adult, right? Arminas: What's it to ya, Four-Eyes? Sakuro: Do you plan on being an urchin the rest of your life? Don't you have any goals for yourself? Arminas's eyes opened up a bit. There seemed to be a person with a dream slowly appearing within his eyes, and Sakuro noticed this immediately. Arminas: ... Yeah. I'd like some respect. A Craftlord. That'd definitely get me some respect, and I definitely won't get pushed around. Sakuro: But you won't go anywhere if you don't have a workshop. Arminas: .... |

Sakuro: It's always better to have a productive member in society instead of a vagrant. Arminas: Thank you so much, Four-Eyes!
Sakuro: Eh.. Arminas.. about that... You're going to be a Craftknight, so please address me by "Master Sakuro". Arminas: Yeah, sure!

----------------------------- Kunio: Ah, there ya are! Taro, Sasami, Lily and Pommy had made it inside the Silver Guild. The Silver Guild consists of two floors, with sections on the first. On the first floor, there's a big kitchen, a workshop with several furnaces, Kunio's bedroom, and a large open area by the entrance. The second floor is a housing area prepared for those competing in the tournament, with each bedroom containing its own workshop furnace. Kunio: And yer late! *looks at Lily* Again! Lily: S-sorry, Master.. Kunio: I expected Lily to be late.. but Sasami-- Lily: Hey hey hey! It was really, like, crowded over there! |

Lily was hopping up and down, with Pommy hopping too. A vein throbbed on Kunio's forehead as he stomped a foot on the ground. Kunio: Calm down! The surprise is comin' when it's comin'! Besides, it won't be as bigga surprise fer Lily and Mikami since it ain't fer ya. Lily: What? That's so not fair! Disappointment had grounded Lily and Pommy. Kunio: But follow me to my room anyway. Kunio walked over to his room, and began talking to a man wearing a long, flowing cape. ----------------------------- Meanwhile, Arminas had a spring in his step as he stepped out of the Central Tower. Arminas: Haha! Maybe I really am lucky! Double lucky! Arminas pointed to a random person that was standing around. Arminas: And you're gonna stop pretending I'm not here and give me some respect! |

Not that being powerful is bad, but I was hoping that main characters wouldn't be considered "powerful". Strong, maybe. Hidden power, maybe. But not openly "powerful" until maybe later))

Lily: You forgot to include us in it. Master, just because we've already got our own Guardian Beasts doesn't mean you can over look us. Kunio: Do ya want yer room, or what? Lily: Yes yes! Sheesh! Kunio: Anyway, as I was sayin'.. Only tournament entrants are allowed into the workshops on the second floor. Try not to fight over who gets which room. Lily peeked her head into one of the rooms. It was very roomy area, containing a furnace, tool sets, and even a bed. It was basically a bedroom in a workshop.. or a workshop in a bedroom. Lily: Ooooh! It looks nicey! Kunio: That's good, b'cause yer gonna be working here day and night from now on. Lily stopped leaning and turned her head. There was a bit of a dull look in her face.. Lily: Master, that's not gonna shock me. Mi-mi, here, already told me about it. Kunio: ... Does it shock the rest of ya? Kunio glances over at Taro, Sasami, and Mikami. He raises a brow until he hears something downstairs. "Oyyy! Is Kunio in here!? Heyyyyyyy!" Kunio: Argh, who let a loudmouth in here! | Kirby: Or.. we can keep walking and head towards the temple that's supposed to be where the Star Door was supposed to be. If we go up to Zeal, we won't be able to hide very well with the cloaking devices, not atleast in this time period.
Kirby let out a sigh and shook his head. Kirby: Look, Melvin, just take my word. We need to keep moving. Going up to Zeal is not an option. And the blizzard has to stay. The voice came from behind Alizabe. It was the boy who had pointed at her a long time ago. He stood, kneeling, with a broken sword by his feet. ------------------------------ Kunio's feet thundered with every step as he made his way down the stairs to the first floor. Kunio: What're ya hollerin' fer? Oh, it's you. Arminas: What's that supposed to mean?
Kunio: It means I'm gonna ring yer neck if ya don't get out. Arminas: Hold your horses, "Ojiisan". I've got a letter from a Craftlord that gives me permission to join. Arminas hands Kunio a piece of paper while a vein throbs on the guild leader's forehead. Kunio proceeds to crumble the paper up.. Arminas: Hey, what're you..
.. and then chucks it at Arminas. The paper ball bounces off of the Selkie's face and rolls on the floor. Arminas: Oy! What was that for!? Kunio: Ya come in 'ere an' demand to be let in the Silver Guild, an' ya don't even apologize for yer behavior? Arminas: Eh? What're you talking about? Kunio: Argh! Get out! Arminas: Hey, atleast let me get me own Guardian Beast. I can see the summoner over there. Kunio: The summoner's tired. He's done fer the day. Summoner: Actually, I've got enough energy for another. Kunio: Yer not helpin'.. |

| Kirby: I don't imagine we're going to be going up to Zeal, but I know what you mean. The Professor is from Popstar, so if he's gonna make important device, he's gonna give it a long lasting batterylife... Besides, paranoid JD here isn't going to let us do anything but this.
Rushuna: K-Kirby.. I.. Kirby heard a thud, as loud as it can be on snow, behind him. Kirby: Yuna? Yuna? Rushuna: It.. is.. c-cold.. Kirby spun around and looked down. He noticed a dent in the snow quickly kneeled down beside it. Kirby: Stupid coat didn't do anything... Hold on, Yuna! For a moment, what seemed to be a large, red quilt flickered before everyone's eyes, and disappeared just as fast. Kirby placed the quilt on Rushuna, and then lifted her off the ground. He was shocked to feel how cold she was. He let out a sigh and continued walking towards the temple. Kirby: JD, I'm letting you know right now. After we're done with the pictures, I'm going to let loose one of my Clow Cards the moment we're out of the temple. |

((Also, Gaara.. What Grey said is true. That was Lesson Three. I'll give you Lesson Four after you post. It's a bit harsh, so I don't wanna scare you off too soon ))
There were two little kids running by Alizabe as she stepped outside. Child: Hurry up! We don't mom yelling at us for not making it before our curfew! Child 2: I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying! The children quickly turned when they ran into a splitpath on a walkway above water. One of the kids almost lost his footing and fell into the drink. It seems like he's done this a lot of times. The commercial area contained an inn, a shop for crafting materials, and several other shops and little resturants. There was always something for someone, even if they felt like having something different on their next visit to the area. The fountain in the center of all the shops was lit up by several lights. It was a popular spot to hangout. However, since the tournament had started, there were less people standing around. ----------------------------- Summoner: Okay, I need something important from you.. Kunio: Eh? What's this about? Summoner: I need an item that is close to him so I can focus better. I don't have as much energy as I did before. Arminas: Hm... Ah! Me charm! Kunio quirked a brow when he saw Arminas pull out a trinket from inside his tunic. Kunio: Where'd ya steal that from? Arminas: It's a keepsake from my parents, you jerk. Kunio: Strange, I thought Hell spat you out. Arminas: Can we get on with this?  |

Kirby: Yuna..? Rushuna: I will be fine. You warmed me up enough. I can stay here. Please, you know I can take care of myself. Kirby: Okay.. Just be sure to be alert. Kirby, already inside, walked over to a corner by the entrance, and was about to carefully place Rushuna on the ground when he felt her jump off. He was a bit surprised, but he was glad. He turned around, and started to walk where he thought JD was. He then kept his distance, assuming someone from behind might not have known when to stop moving.. Kirby: Ready, I guess...
