Kirbynite picked up his pace. Kirbynite: I hope you guys didn't start digging another hole without telling me. 
And there it was. The edge of the island. The Island's Edge, if you will. There was nothing beyond it but clouds and.. well, the rest of the earth. But the earth was far below, and it'd be a painful way down. Unless you were cool. Or wear a red coat, in which you can land with no problems. Oh, and being a ninja. Or riding a lift. Okay, so there were plenty of non-painful ways down. But that's besides the point. There were a lot of fluffy white clouds. |

| Rushuna: o________o Is our snowman even going to survive for long?
Kirbynite: Who knows. I might as well play along for just a moment.. Uh.. Nago! After you're done, prepare the anti-airs. I want any ballistics that comes our way to be shot down before they even get close. Meanwhile, Pitch was being pelted by snowballs. He started sputtering (more like spitting out snow) as he turned around and flied back over to Teddylot's "base". Pitch: Mi lider! I bring more news! The enemy.. they plan on using the anti-airs, mang! Pitch crash landed on a snow mound behind Teddylot. Pitch: I barely made it back, mang... Rushuna: Are you sure this is normal? 
Kirbynite: Of course it is, hon. Now.. what can we use for... Oh, right. Kirbynite dove into the snow, and basically disappeared for a few seconds. Rushuna looked over where Kirby jumped into and blinked for a few moments until the pink Dreamlander leapt back out. Kirbynite: I remembered I tried to grow carrots. It ain't full grown, but I suppose we can use this for the nose... --------------------------- And out of nowhere... Gauss's cockpit was pelted by a stray snowball. |

Kirby momentarily glares at Melvin and "Smity". Supa Dreamlander: Aah! Er... *ahem* Meoooooow! Meeeoooooow! Grubba: ....Hoo nelly. Just a little kitty cat. Here Ah am, thinkin' someone's up there a-peepin'! Ah gotta relax... take some yoga classes or somethin'... Yep. Well, back to the ring. And with that, Grubba started walking towards the door. Supa Dreamlander: Whew... Hm...He brought up the Star Stone.. Jolene acted kinda guilty-like when he mentioned it... Any thoughts, you guys? |

Kirby: Well, atleast it's snug.. Rushuna: It won't be as fun as pulling you into the shadows, though.

Kirby places Yami on his head, and pulls out his PET from his backpack. Supa Dreamlander: "This is your last warning! Stop snooping around about the Star Stone! If you don't, you'll suffer the same fate as the others who have gone missing..." Holy cucco! How the heck does Angry Penpal McGee know about this? This guy's gotta be our key! Kirby walks over to Melvin and picks up the key. At the same time... Megaman.EXE: Kirby! You've got mail. It's from X. He says to go to the second floor of the storage room. Supa Dreamlander: I hope we don't have to eavesdrop on another conversation. We've got a championship match to deal with. Kirby was about to nod twice but he felt the heatful glares from Jack and Fem. Supa Dreamlander: Right, moving on. And Smithy... just drag Melvin along. At this rate, Harle will appear again, and I'm sure her presence will wake him up. Or something. |

| A quick google search taught me how big a sting-ray barb is. Seems like it's nature's switch blade...
I was kinda shock to see the news, kinda thinking it was a hoax or something.. but.. eh.. I dunno what to say about it. I mean.. a sting ray. He died hanging with animals.. but... a sting ray. |

| Rushuna held out her arms and quickly moved her hands into different positions. All of a sudden, a flame appeared and hovered above her hands.
Rushuna: What? It's cold. Kirby: Yeah, would've been nice for him to say that we were gonna be somewhere in the arctic or a mountain or something. Kirby pulled out a large coat for Rushuna to wear. The half-drow put her fireball away and immediately wrapped herself in the coat. Kirby: A kingdom in the past... Kirby was paying little attention to Troy and Keele. Instead, he was trying to concentrate on the outside of the cave. Kirby: Howling winds.. cold temperature... Oh no... This can only mean... Rushuna: What's wrong? Kirby: We're in some mountain range that deals with monks! Rushuna:

Kirby was about to start walking until Rushuna grabbed his backpack. She quickly pulled out a pair of gauntlets and a red scarf, and quickly put both on. Both were part of her usual ninja attire. Rushuna: It's cold. 
Kirby: You could've told me to stop. ;; C'mon, let's get going already before we freeze.
Kirby turned on his cloaking device and started trudging forward, immediately remembering to zip up his jacket. Kirby: Bad feeling...... wind howling... .... The black wind...? |

| Kirby: I don't blame Troy. I mean.. he's cold blooded, right? This is probably one of the worst places for him to be right now.
Rushuna: We have warm blood.. But it is still cold.
Kirby: I'll be sure to tell the Professor that he forgot to equip heaters into these things Hopefully the temple itself isn't of the frozen variety..
Kirby turned his cap around and pulled the bill over his eyes as he pushed through the snowy mounds. The wind was blowing hard, forcing the airborn snowflakes to sting his cheeks. The halfed vision caused by the cloaking device also didn't help in seeing where to go. Kirby thought to himself. "Guts said we've been here before... I can't remember it too much.. but.. I'm almost sure the elevated areas didn't reach out this far.. And.. we're nowhere near the poles..." It wasn't until they were a great distance from the cave that Kirby thought of something. Kirby: ... JD-eeeeeee.... What's our location in time? |

| And then.. Pitch took off!
Pitch: I'm on a mission, mang! Whoo! Pitch fluttered his arms as much as he could, carrying the snowbomb over to the enemy territory. However, it seemed like the enemy was not going to have any of it. Nago and Mitra immediately lobbed snowballs over at Pitch. However, the little green bird was resolute. He was going to make it, and nothing was going to stop him. He began to weave between and around the airborn snowballs. He was almost at his target until one of Mitra's snowballs struck Pitch's snowbomb, knocking it out of his feet's grasp. Pitch: Oh noooo! Nago: Clear the way! Incoming stray! The snowbomb had completely missed the snowman. It had also missed Kirbynite and Rushuna, if anyone thought one of them was going to be hit. No, it was Chuchu, the little pink blob with a red bow on her head, that was hit. She was just minding her own business when disaster struck. The snowbomb exploded on her head, covering her in snow, and also taking out the lone flower beside her, the only flower to somehow avoid being covered in snow. Nago: Wuh oh... *looks at Mitra* What are you doing, mya? I said clear the way!! Chuchu: Grrrrr.... Chuchu pushed the snow off of her and glared upwards. Pitch let out a gulp and started flying back to safety. Chuchu charged towards the snowman Kirby and Rushuna were building, and wraped two of her long, tentacle-like arms around it. It is often said that Kirbynite excels at speed. The other Dreamlanders may excel at something, while Chuchu excels in strength. She tore the large snowman off the snowy mounds, and hurled the poor snow guy at Pitch. Kirbynite: Oh geeze... Rushuna: Aw... Nago: I hope that snowman had insurance, mya. It was all over for the green bird as he was plucked from the air by the incoming snowman. The two eventually crashed over in Teddylot's "barracks". |

Rushuna: Black wind? Kirby: I don't understand it myself, but Janus.. That is.. Magus.. had often spoken about it. I can sorta feel it sometimes, and it tends to mean a bad thing..... You guys are going to keep going forward even if I suggest going back and checking Zeal's library, huh? |

| Okay! New story time for me!
Setting: Alternate Universe. Fantasy-like setting, with technology. There has been known to be giant mechs, but they've got nothing to do with this story. Maybe in a possible sequel. People use stuff like swords, magic, and summoning... but strangely enough.. there doesn't seem to be any guns used.
Rules: Uh... None, I guess. There is a plot in there, but you can do pretty much whatever you want, with some common sense, I guess. I'd prefer your main character is a bit on the young side (that is, not an old man/woman). No uber powerfulness, I guess. Extra Notes: I'll say the extra part at the end.
------------------------------------------- "Stop!" There are four dimensions, such as the Oni Realm and the Spirit Realm, strongly connected with this one. Only through a Linker, a mage with the knowledge of the summoning arts, is travel through the dimensions possible. "Oy! Ya'll a buncha slow pokes!" Craftknights, as how they are called, forge great weapons of all types, from conventional swords, spears and axes to the nonconventional, knuckles and drills. Most craftknights use the aid of a mage ally or a Guardian Beast, a being summoned from another dimension, to forge weapons, as gathering materials for crafting usually involves venturing into dangerous territory that is home to Strays, summoned beings who are unable to return to their world. "I told you television is bad. That child is mimicking that obnoxious kid from the ninja cartoon show." Guardian beasts take on all shapes and sizes. Some can speak in human tounges, like the demon-types and fairy-types, while most can only be understood only by its own master, such as the mechanical and beast-types. And of course, these creatures have their own personalities. "Dear, he's a Selkie. You know how they are." Wystern is a city in which the craftknight population density is very high. Because of this, Wystern is most commonly known to the world as the City of Swords. The city is built ontop of a great tower that is constantly sinking into the ocean, albeit very slowly. An old man once told his grandchild that the bottom "floor" of the city used to be the second "floor" when he used to be a little whippersnapper. "I said stop!" There are two guilds in Wystern: the Gold Guild, and the Silver Guild. The Gold Guild, located on the second floor, tends to mass produce their weapons. Meanwhile, in the residential area on the first floor, the Silver Guild produce weapons that are said to be the best of quality. Obviously, there is a bit of a rivalry between the two guilds. "He's ran into the Central Tower!" The main residential areas in the first floor consist of walkways that eventually connect the houses to the western commercialized area, which has a beautiful fountain in the center. Underneath the walkways is, well, water. It should be safe to say that most people know how to swim. "THere isn't anywhere for him to run to. The labrynth and arena are both closed off" To the northwest is the port. In Wystern's northern region lies the Central Tower, where all the government work takes place. It also has an arena, and stairs that leads to the second floor of the city. "Ugh.. Lowsy Selkie.. we lost him.. C'mon.. let's just get back to the shop." Today is a special day in Wystern. A ceremony is being held in a room in the second floor of the Central Tower, which kicks off a tournament for all the young craftknights and craftknight apprentices who wish to become a High Craftknight, a Craftlord. Craftlords possess amazing skills in not only forging weapons, but wielding their own creations. They are respected by all, and feared by those with malicious intents. "I just wish that kid wouldn't have painted his name on the wall while stealing that loaf of bread." Arminas is neither a Craftknight, nor an apprentice. He's a lone Selkie, the only one living in Wystern. He's earned a bad reputation, what with the occasional vandalism, theft, or other petty crime. He's not thought of so badly by the Clavats (or other similar races) of the city, but with the majority consisting of Lilties and Yukes, one can safely say he's generally disliked. Arminas: Heh heh.. Sure a great place to hide.... but.. wha's goin' on here... Arminas looked around in his new surroundings. There were a lot of young people standing around. From what he could tell, they all dealt with blacksmithry. He then looked at himself. Blue tunic, black stockings, worn out leather boots, bandage wrapped hands, and dull, dark red hair sticking out of his blue bandana. He definitely was sticking out if someone was looking carefully enough. But strange as it was, no one noticed him. Random Apprentice: Oh man, can you believe it? I thought I wasn't going to make it today. Random Apprentice 2: You lost your entrance ticket to the ceremony, huh? Random Apprentice: Yep! And that guy by the door looks like he won't let anyone in without one. Arminas: Heh heh.. not includin' me, o'course.... I hope they don'star' checkin' for tickets.. I don't know how long I gotta hide in here.. --------------------------- Extra Notes: Guardian Beasts can be anything, basically. It could even be a pokemon, if you desire.
