The audience was still going crazy. People were already running for the souvenier shop to buy Sig merchandise, while bloggers quickly ran for the Juice Shop to get a connection to the internet. It was a good day for the Glitzpit stock holders. Jolene's voice went down to a normal, casual one. Jolene: I have gotten word about the results of a fight, and was told to take the rest of the team into the Major League locker room.... And about you, Sig... Jolene pushes her glasses up as she checks her clipboard. Jolene: You have gone from being ranked 18 to 15. If if wasn't for the fact that the fights were outside of the ring, you would've beaten Supa Dreamlander and Company's record for fastest advancement betwen three ranks. Congratulations, Sig. |

The platform had stopped infront of a large hole. The hole gave off a decent view of all the plantlife inside. Shrubbery Jaku: An' try to keep yer wits about, especially 'round the tall grass. By the time you realize there're tails behind you, those gomme buggers will ef already started jumpin' all over ya. ------------------- Johnathan should have noticed by now that he hasnt seen any signs of life, aside from the foilage. And as strange as it may be, there were no creatures that suddenly popped out of nowhere to harm him after the realization. |

| The door to the locker room opened up, with Jolene and Sig stepping inside.
Jolene: Please wait a moment here, Sig, I'll.... Hm? Jolene turned her back to Sig as she held a finger to her ear. She gave a few "mmhm" and "yes, sirs" before she turned around and looked at Sig. Jolene: It seems you have another fight to deal with, but this time, you're being challenged. *sighs* With how the challenge system works, and with rookies being the way they are these days, it looks like we might have to open up the reserve fighting arenas rather soon.... Jolene clears her throat as she realized she was rambling. Jolene: Excuse me, I think I may have been a little too involved with this job. Sig, your payment from the previous fights has already been forwarded to your electronic funds, 40 gold coins worth. It is your choice to wait for a few minutes or head towards the pit now. Now, if you'll excuse me... Jolene fixed her glasses and walked towards Smithy. Jolene: Here's your fight money. Jolene hands a briefcase of gold coins to Smithy. Jolene: 12 coins each, and everyone ranks up to 10. Also, please follow me, as you are now part of the major-league. I'll take you to the major-league locker room. Jolene then noticed Grey and Jack. Kirby, who was already inside, walked towards table that had the hulking bazooka-oven object. He banged a fist on the matter transmitter before taking his eyes off of it. Kirby: Eh, this thing won't do. If anything, it's got a good possibility of being tapped into during the transmission.. Of course, it'd do anyone else no good. | And after the little walk down the hall, Jolene opens the door and allows the others to step inside the room.
Jolene: This is the major-league locker room. You will use this room from this moment on. The match system is the same as the minor league... but the bouts are harder. Try not to get completely destroyed out there, OK? Well, if you'll excuse me... I must be going now. Jolene steps out of the room. The room is tons more cleaner, neater, and nicer smelling than the minor-league room, which is kinda amazing since the minor-league locker room is right next door. None of the people inside make eye contact with the new major-leaguers. It feels a bit... colder than the minor-league... |

Just then, Kirby steps inside the room, swinging around Yami. His smile slowly fades away as he looks around in the room. Supa Dreamlander: What's the deal? Would it kill these guys to show a little friendliness? Sheesh! Anyways.. Kirby looks at his comrades and smiles. Supa Dreamlander: Hey guys! I guess you know the outcome of that battle, huh? And I even got my cape back from one of those freaks. Sorry about not coming by earlier, though... Kinda beelined straight to get Yami some food... The door swings open, once again, and launches Kirby onto the floor. Fortunately, he made sure to hold Yami out of harm's way. Kirby lets out a sigh, while the baby yoshi just giggles. Rawk Hawk: Yo! Studly guy, comin' through! Rawk Hawk steps inside, wearing the shimmering Star Stoned championship belt around his waist. Following behind Rawk Hawk stood three other bird-like creatures. However, they weren't nearly as buff or large as Rawk Hawk. Rawk Hawk: Listen up, losers! I've been hearing about some rising stars tearing up the league... | Once again, the tall blades of grass shook. However, this time, something emerged from the grass. It appeared to have been the tail of a creature. It looked quite familar.... Something similar to what had poisoned Hikari the other day..
Infact, there seemed to have been several of the same creature, surrounding Johnathan on all directions... |

Without warning, Bandy Andy had appeared behind Troy. The Bandit creature had a big grin as he approached the blue koopa. Bandy Andy: I've searched all over for the First Wonder of the Glitzpit, but I never thought of checking here. You must got some luck there, ball blazer, heh heh heh. Bandy Andy turned his head and looked at the wall. Bandy Andy: ... So... you gonna check it out? ------------------------------- Zap tried his best to keep an ear open as he struggled to keep Teddylot quiet. Jolene: So... you're telling me that you have no idea who got inside? What do we pay you for? Security Guard: I'm awful sorry, Miss Jolene. I heard a noise in there, but I couldn't find nothing... Jolene: Hmph. Fine, leave the rest of this matter to me. I'll have to remember to turn up the security system to include the Yamauchi Anti-Teleportation.... Go back to your post. And listen to me carefully: do not EVER tell anyone of this or I'll have your job. Jolene sighed as the security guard walked off. Zap slowly creeps back to the wall, in hopes of not being spotted by Jolene. He then realized something was wrong... Teddylot: Sooooooo..... What's in the room? Jolene: Y-You! Mister Teddylot, this is highly inappropriate! What business do you have here? Zap came around the corner walking as calmly and cool-like as he could. Zap: Sorry about that, ma'am. We were just taking a detour. Jolene: Please, I must ask you to stay out of places where you have no business being. Zap: ... What's that supposed to.. Jolene fixed her glasses and turned around. Zap watched the Toad march up to her office. Zap: Hm.... Teddylot: I bet you there's candy inside. Zap: You've put us through enough trouble for one.. Zap checks his watch. Zap: Afternoon. Come on, you. Zap grabs Teddylot and starts dragging him. Teddylot: But the candy! 
------------------------ Grubba: Well, boy howdy! Fixin' for a fight, huh? Well, all righty, then! Lemme just see here.... Yer next opponent will be.... Ranked 9 in the Glitz Pit... The Tiny Spinies! No stipulations involved here, just The screen fades away. Supa Dreamlander: Spinies.. Right... I thought the matches were supposed to start getting harder. Kirby walks over to Jack. Supa Dreamlander: Can you hold onto Yami for me? I'm sure you're not up for being in a fight already  |

Kirby slowly hands Yami over to Jack as a security guard steps inside. Security: You ready? Supa Dreamlander: Of course. Security Guard: Alright. We're going to be using the reserve arena, however. Supa Dreamlander: What? How come? I'm a major leaguer now. Security Guard: There's special fight reserved for the main arena. Supa Dreamlander: Well, whatever. Kirby follows the security guard out, while Zap and Teddylot steps inside. Teddylot: Ooooh! This place smells lemony clean, with a hint of sweat socks. Zap walks towards Fem, Grey, and Jack, and cautiously looks around. Zap: Hey, I'm just wondering.. Did one of you teleport inside one of the rooms here? |
