Kurima shoved some coal inside of the mettalic bulk's belly and slammed the stomach lid shut. Gato's eyes quickly lit up, and slowly got up to his feet.

Nalon: Didn' expect ya to fix 'im before dinner. Hell, I didn' expect it to be done this week.

Marin: Auntie Kurima's such a smartie!!

Kurima's glasses slightly shimmered as she let out a tiny grin. She tried not to let it go to her head.

Kurima: Maybe we can get him to start doing some chores agai--

Gato: Aaaah, Gonzalez-uh! Ahhh eena soo no ee!

Marin: He's still talkin' crazy gibberish, Auntie.

Kurima: Eh.. I didn't bother trying to figure out what's causing that. He also keeps twitching ever since that bucket of water was splashed onto him..

Marin: There was a lot of pretty sparks!

Nalon: While you figure out how to deal with that moon talk, I'll go an' get--

All of a sudden, a large amount of steam poured out of Gato. He lifted his arms and started to stomp his feet. Nalon quickly grabbed Marin and pulled her inside the house, while Kurima pressed herself against the barn door.

Nalon: What's goin' on?!

Kurima: I don't know! There could be so many things that's doing this... I..

Gato: AAAAAH GONZALEZ-UH!!

Without warning, Gato leapt into the air and started running forward. Luckily, he jumped right over the ranch gate without plowing through it.

Kurima: ....

Nalon: ... Imma get dinner now..

Well.. finally decided to revive this thing... I hope there'll be some activity..

The setting of this story is the modern SF universe (Uh.. I guess it'd be like.. SF 2007 or 2008.. It's still being debated over)

A lot has happened since the beginning of the tale. Danielle, Queen of the floating kingdom of Zeal, decided to stir up some excitement in the nearest city, located at ground level of course. The cause for this was just extreme boredom. Her magnificent Mewtwo was away, dealing with some business. Birdo was probably out flirtting with Yoshi. Schala... well, she's been missing for a few years now.

Meanwhile, Kirbynite, who was in his human form at the moment, received a letter from Schala:

Unknown to Kirby, the letter was actually faked by Dani. She needed someone with a pure heart to open up a treasure box, and since Kirby was the purest one she knew of that was gullible...

Unfortunately for Danielle, was caught off guard by a peddler, and was drained of her mana and captured. She was brought into a secret base, run by a group called the X-Nauts. Gim-like robots were running all around the place, and the man behind it was non-other than Melvin's arch nemesis, Edgar. Well, I don't know if they still are rivals..

Meanwhile, Kirbynite meets up with Melvin, Smithy, Fem, and a slew of others. One thing led to another, and everyone was drawn into a quest to look for Star Stones (which were the only reason why Kirby was on the quest since those were his only clues to meeting Schala again after so long), pointed out by the map Kirby had obtained from the box Dani had sent him.

After a little trip through the sewers, everyone appeared in Fungeria, and eventually fought a wicked dragon to rescue Jack's dad. It was a fierce battle, but with everyone's combined strengths proved to be more than a match for the arrogant dragon. Kirby was wounded badly, but that didn't stop him from using all of his rage and rushing into the dragon's belly, and basically punching out the Star Stone that was inside of Hooktail's stomach.

Father and son were reunited, and Grey somehow learned Earth Tremor after yoinking the Star Stone.

At the same time, Danielle became acquainted with the computer AI system at the X-Naut base, ROB. After an awkward trade of words, Dani was able to send a message to Kirbynite, though she was still using the guise of Schala... ROB sent the message immediately, but for some reason, the message was taking a very long time in being received by Kirbynite...

Meanwhile, Mewtwo was summoned by Birdo, and informed of Kirby's exploits. Mewtwo didn't care too much until Birdo finally told him that Dani was captured. Mewtwo, obvioiusly enraged, took off in search for Dani.

Kirby and company found themselves in a land filled with a monocrhomatic layout. The trees, grass, rivers, everything was in black and white. They were definitely standing out, and were barely noticed by a trio of ninjas, calling themselves the Shinobi Sirens. After a quick scuffle, the ninjas ran away. The group of adventurers continued forward, led by two small creatures, named Punio and Piki, both Punis.

The Boggly Tree, home to the Puni creatures, was taken over by X-Nauts. It didn't take much for the heroes to dispose of the X-Nauts, as well as finding the two responsible for taking over the tree. A puni by the name of PLICK, and a strangely familar person going by the name of "Crump". Crump had attacked the heroes with a large mech, but eventually was taken care of.

Kirby collapsed onto his rear, still panting very hard. His hands were still covered with glass from his attempt to punch through the cockpit of the mech. His hearing was slowly coming back to him, but he couldn't make out what anyone was saying.

Crump had managed to run away... as for PLICK...

Mewtwo and Birdo, along with a few female mages, were walking on the path to Fungeria. It was the only place they could find clues on Dani's location. So far, the road that was leading them there was filled with bricks, boxes filled with golden coins, and mushrooms.

Mewtwo - ~I am not enjoying it too much here.~

Birdo - Oh, come on, you need to lighten up!

Mewtwo - ~... You're starting to sound like that damn fool, Kirbynite.~

Birdo - Aie! Alright, I'll be quiet, sir.

There was a little jingle, a familar 1up sound, coming from Kirby's pocket. Kirby didn't seem to respond to it, but his breathing was starting to slow down.

It's another great work of art. Though, like Boom.dk, the hands look a bit weird.... But... I'm probably not adjusted to seeing someone in that position.

Though, quite honestly, I can't enjoy that picture like... well, not much. When I looked at the bigger size of the colored picture, I felt like a great bit of energy was sucked right out of me (and for me to be all cheerful and genki, I need energy ). Though, I can feel that image being one of those things that one would look back and say "Damn! I can't believe I was there!"

I'm sorry about the "inspiration" for the drawing. It's never cool to be dealing with a long amount of distress. Depression is so icky. Gives you rings under your eyes and such. Er.. sorry. Silliness is my selfdefense against sadness

Anyway, I'm not a praying man (heck, I don't even have a religion that I follow), but I'll pray to whatever force out there to help you out. *nod nod*

I thought I didn't need to say anything in the thread since other people had already mentioned.. but.. the Story Forum and Sim Battle.. Oliga... whatever-archy or not, I'm still gonna request that the two forums to be seperated.


For the most of it, the changes seem to be alright. It'll get some getting used to, like seeing Modern Art down where it is, heh. But I'm not complaining about those changes.

to Sky: I'm going to tell you that I don't want you IMing me for quite some time. I do not appreciate the colorful words you have given me, especially since I haven't even spoken to you. I don't even care if you have a "good" reason to speak to me like that. I have no tolerance for something of that caliber.

And lemme warn you--if I start seeing some colorful words posted that would make a kid cry, I'mma clipboard them out.

As for you saying JD has no idea, he probably has a bigger idea than you do. Lemme tell you a little about it.

In 2007 SF, it was mentioned that Dani was pregnant, (which would've been with Aether) and that was in. The next story to have Dani did not have any mention of Dani being pregnant, which would mean Aether was already born. That story was also the last story the real Dani role played in inside of the normal SF canon. The only story before the one that spoke of her pregnancy was the Evil Reign II, the Final Fantasy 6 parody, which takes place from 2004 SF to 2006 SF. You can refer to FF6 if I'm not accurate with it spanning for more than a year.

The current year is 2008 SF, which three stories involving Dani take place (Treasure Beyond the Old Door, Justice Folk, and Melting Pot). And all three stories require Dani, Justice Folk being the one that is most influenced by Dani. Denying any of these stories would be denying a lot of people's backstories. Of course you don't care about that. What does those stories have to do with you, you might ask.

For that, I have to tell you about something else. Let's take a trip back to 2003 SF. Dani and Mewtwo had created Kirai, from their own DNA, and sent her to fight us. What we didn't know (don't correct me if we already knew about it) was that Kirai was actually a twin. The other girl was Ai, as many of us would recognize as being the future daughter of Dani's.

However, instead of landing in the future, Ai appeared in an alternate universe, which basically was SF parodying Sailor Moon, starring Dani as Sailor Moon, Mewtwo (being a human in that universe) as Tuxedo Mask, and Ai falling out of nowhere as Sailor Chibi Moon. At the end of this story, which would take place for a few years since there's school involved, there would be some epic battle with an evil being (which I'm stating as Lavos, since that dude has it out for us and has no regards to dimensions or time). Dani, Mewtwo, and Ai were on the verge of dying...

What does this tell us? Well, the Dani and Mewtwo we know are gone. If, by some odd chansey they regain some spirit of their oldselves (which could be the case seeing as how much Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross is related to Dani), they would still be no longer the same people. And the biggest reason is this:

Ai has never seen her parents as how they were long ago (The Dani and Mewtwo we know), which was probably a throwback to Chibiusa in Sailor Moon (which what Dani loves to do, using references most people don't even know about). Also, that means that your vision, Sky could not happen after Ai has reappeared in the normal SF universe.

Now, before you say it could've happened before, there's still matter dealing with time. While Dani is younger in the Sailor Moon parody, her age wouldn't determine what year it would be, seeing as how she did plenty of time traveling in the normal SF universe. The only determining factor would be my characters in that story, Kirbynite and Chuchu, who remain exactly the same (including age) as in the normal SF universe (except for Chuchu becoming human and wanting to live on ground level). There's also that thing about the Sailor Moon series not spanning for many years, as Usagi was in highschool the last series.

In conclusion: Ai was thrown into the future, but not too far as it would conflict with my already established characters. Ai returning had to have been atleast after Aether's birth, but not too far off as it would conflict with the timeframe the Sailor Moon stuff lasted. Your (Sky's) vision would not sync up with Dani's vision. Meaning it would not sync up with atleast four visions.

It doesn't matter if your vision is so much less cliche. It's because of the cliche that's going to cause Ai to do something, what I'm not going to say because I'm not going to spoil it for JD and Grey, or anyone else that would take part in when it happens.

If you've got anything to say against that, don't bother. I'd prefer to rest easy instead of knowing that there's a deeper animosity out there that's trying to harm a hobby of mine.

The screen on the Personal Terminal device Grey had yoinked flickered on with the image of figure wearing a blue helmet.

Megaman.EXE: You're not Kirby! Where's Kirbynite at? He's got a message that says its from Schala.

Kirby seemed to have been infused with life as he sprung to his feet and lunged at Grey.

Kirby: What what what? Gimme!

The little Toad immediately ran off into a nearby house as Mewtwo, Birdo, and the female mages stepped foot into Fungeria.

Mewtwo - ~Interesting... I would've expected this sort of reaction had I sprouted spikes and horns...~

Birdo - Well.... I mean.. you ARE Mewtwo.

Mewtwo - ...

Birdo - I.. er.. I'm sorry sir. I'm not saying that's your fault..

Mewtwo floated over to the house. Before he moved closer to the door, a fungerian shrieked.

Fungerian Otaku: Noooooo! Y-you m-may be M-Mewtwo, b-but I'm n-not going to l-let you have m-my treasure!

The fungerian, who was standing behind his house, ran around and pulled the poster off the wall. However, before he tried to run, Mewtwo lifted his right hand and psychicly lifted the fungerian off the ground.

Fungerian: N-noo! I'm a goner! Atleast I'm with my t-treasure!

Mewtwo - ~I hate this story.~

Birdo - Stop your bellyaching, Toad-man. We just want information.

Fungerian: I don't know anything! I swear!

Kirby: ... Are you trying to drag Zerodius or Schwa in here? That was.. just pointless, and I would never think the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom would've considered to put Warp Pipes in Rogueport. Jack told me this was supposed to be a wretched and villainous place......

Grey's ongoing monologue for the bored seemed to have hastened the trip to the Thousand Year Door.

Kirby: And these sewers we're in.. This used to be a city long time ago, I think.

As the other two times, lights began to shoot out in unusual formations around the pedestal as Kirby held a piece of parchment infront of him. After the lights went away, Kirby looked at the map. An island appeared on the map. However, it was a bit odd, as it was placed high in the sky, hovering over the ocean.

Kirby: Glitzville?! Aw, for the love of.. This has to be the worst time for the Warp Stars to be out of service....

Kirby: I've seen commercials for it on tv. It's basically like New York City. Only it's about one block big... Oh, and no crime.... And cleaner. There aren't many stores there, but it's all basically about the Glitz Pit.. All about Pro-Fighting, and such.

Kirby closes up the map and turns to Fem.

Kirby: Fem.. should we go speak to your grandpa about this, or do you know of a place that can take us to the sky, ASAP?

Kirby made his way out of the sewers, via the Warp Pipe up to Rogueport. He takes out a brochure of Rogueport, and looks around.

Kirby: A blimp, eh? I think I found where it is... But what's up with this Pianta's mug? Heck, what's a Pianta doing here? I thought they're living in Isle Delfino. You know.. an island that's a thousand times cleaner than this island.

Kirby: ... Well, yeah, people do immigrate.. I dunno.. Just figured for a species that has tropical looking flora on their heads.... Ah, well, who cares.

Kirby looked around. To get to the blimp, they had to walk past the town center, over to the west side of town, in which they already did.

Kirby: Okay.. wow. This district is a lot cleaner than the other side. Imma gonna have to take back what I said.

The surroundings did look a lot better than before. The buildings were still brick and mortar, but there was no grime, no graffiti, and no decay. There was a beautiful park to Kirby's left, which was a tiny bit south. He noticed a tough looking goomba was snoozing in a flower bed...

Further ahead seemed to be the commercial area. He could see a store and... a casino right next to the store. He also saw a ghostly female Boo with kitty ears hovering to the casino.

Kirby: .... I honestly hope we didn't walk into the red light district ;
