| I'm voting "Over my dead body" only because having an ad on the top would really throw off the flow of this place. Unless it's a google bar, like it's been recently mentioned, and put in a very stylish manner. ;
I personally like the ads at the bottom, since it occasionally provides some humor. I just started laughing when I saw the ad in a story after we had killed some turtles. | I'm usually not the one to make threads, but a huge swelling of "oh em gee" forced me to do it. That and I'm procrastinating with homework.
I present to you all a trailer that was shown at this year's GDC. Straight from Nintendo.. Straight from Nintendo Europe Or the Miror The only thing I'm worried about this game is the people who're going to complain about the combination of two of the criticized things in Zelda games: Navi's voice and Wind Waker's art style. Personally, I love the Wind Waker style, and I was never bothered by Navi. (She's my friend!) But.. whatever. New Zelda game! I got the links from 4colorrebellion.. |

I r-regret t-to inform you th-that your... cat cannot b-be with th-the main c-cars. The p-p-passengers will not feel comfortab-b-ble. You c-c-can take him t-to the back car, th-though. It was m-made for d-delicate c-c-c-cargo. And-and-and for d-dangerous b-beasts. ------------------------ Nalon: Honestly! They're goin' out there, riskin' their lives for ya, and what do ya do? Jumpin' on a buncha logs! Nalon had discovered Hikari, still wearing her nightgown, collapsed out where Johnnathan had laid out the pegs. Marin: Sis, please stay in bed.. Marin and Nalon were slowly dragging Hikari back to the house. Hikari didn't say anything, nor did she even give any emotions on her face. Her eyes were completely glazed over. Kurima stared at Hikari, while standing over Gato's inactive body. Kurima: You might as well strap her in. This is the second time she's knocked Gato out today. Oh, the poor thing.. Lucas: We're still close to the Yoshenyoshi village. Perhaps we should try asking Cedric. Lily: Do you really think he'll help us a second time? He didn't seem too into our cause, you know? Lucas: ... I'm almost positive he will help us. Lily: What makes you think so? Lucas: Just call it a hunch. Lily: Geeze, and here you keep talking about not making assumptions.
Lucas: Experiments won't hurt from time to time. Lily: Speaking of experiments, this guy seems to be out to lunch! He still hasn't gotten up from all this healing. Lucas: He may be just fatigued. Charolette approached Arminas, who was still sitting on the ground. Charolette: Here.. Take the shell. Charolette handed the shell over to Arminas. She then bowed. Charolette: I'm grateful to you for rescuing me... thank you. Arminas: Heh. Well, I'm glad you're ok, then.

Walter suddenly sprang up, catching Lily off guard. Black wings quickly took form behind him as he leapt into the air. Charolette: Walter? Walter: Charolette! Thomas! Come! An energy sphere appeared around Charolette. A sphere of energy was about to appear around Thomas, until he brandished what seemed to be a rapier made of pure energy and ripped the sphere apart. Walter: What are you doing?! Thomas: It would be faster if you take just her, Mister Korethil. Walter: What are you doing mentioning my true name?! Thomas: I.. er.. My pardons, sir. My.. quick reaction had distracted me from speaking correctly. But.. It... is for the best if Charolette was taken to a safer place immediately! Walter: Thomas.. Thomas: I have the strength to go alone. You do not need to worry about me. Walter: So be it. Walter, along with Charolette, then took off. Lily: Hey! You would've died if it weren't for us! You could atleast say thanks! After Walter seemed to be out of an earshot's range, Thomas fell to the ground, sitting down. He then started to laugh. | Lucas: History has always told that the Sumara, which stands for "people of the sea", have had many troubles from the Koehra, which stands for "people of the land", which would be the rest of us. In current times, the Sumara are rather isolated.... As for those wings.. I really don't know, but I assume it has to do with abilities that Sumara have.
Arminas had a rather painful look on his face. Clara took note of this, and then glanced at Lucas. Clara: Yukin, perhaps we should get going. I believe we're all rested enough. | The surroundings around Ark had changed from dusty, rock canyons to beautiful, grassy plains. There was still no sight of the army, but he was finally able to catch note of some clues. There were monsters that were busy feasting on other creatures that were previously slain by the detachment unit a while ago.
The Ruins of Light was located about a half hour away from the Waterways, of course, only to those who run at normal speeds. Far off in the distance, Ark can see another mountainous region. -------------- Rufus extends his hand to Arminas. Lily: Ooh! Could this be the start of a beautiful friendship? Arminas lifts his hand. However, he quickly balls it up into a fist, and delivers a hook across Rufus' face. Lily: Guess not.. Rufus stumbled backwards a bit before regaining himself. He rubbed his face, and made sure he didn't lose any teeth. Rufus: Whazzat for, ah?! Arminas: Who do you think you are? I'm not letting you off that easily! Arminas lunged forward, and set loose a quick jab. Arminas: You're the one who kidnapped Allison in the first place! Arminas tried to go in for another punch, but Rufus managed to lean away from it. Rufus: 'Ey, boy! Jus' let that slide! Fittin' supposed to shut up and shake mah hand! Arminas: Like hell I'll let it slide! Rufus held out his hand again, but Arminas just smacked the hand away. He closed in to perform an uppercut on Rufus, but once again, the bandit leaned away from it. However, instead of letting the momentum from his uppercut go to waste, Arminas managed to spin around and catch Rufus with a kick to the abdomen. Arminas rushed forward, aiming to take advantage of Rufus stumbling backwards, and unleashed a fury of body blow punches before ending it with an uppercut. Rufus: AaaAaahh~! Rufus was knocked into a wall, and slid down to the ground. Rufus: Eeeh...  |

| The path before Ark was soon turning into a fork, divided by tall rock formations. However, it was painfully obvious that one path led to the inside of the ruins of light. There were no soldiers standing outside, but there were plenty of equipment, and wagons that showed their presence.
Cedric: What is.... What are you doing here? Leaning against the wall before the fork in the path was Cedric. Cedric: I didn't expect anyone to be here by now. -------------------- Lucas shook his head. Lily simply laughed. Lily: I'd say Ruffy had it coming to him. Clara slowly approached Arminas. Clara: Selk. Arminas: Hm? Clara: I'm.. not sure if I said it before.. but.. Thanks for helping me back there in the Waterways. Lily: Aw, you two warming up to each other? Clara: It's not like that... Rufus: A'igh! Time to bounce on outta he-ya! Rufus leapt up, stretching as many muscles as he could. Lily: Whoa! He just sprung up! Hum.. I guess Ruffy's coming with us no matter what. |

| Ark didn't have much space to run as Cedric stood in his way, appearing out of a puff of smoke...
Cedric: And what do you plan on doing, you brainless tank on speed? If you walk around the corner, the guards inside the ruins will see you. They've already taken the girl inside. Unless you want to fight them, as well as the monsters they've enlisted into their ranks alone, then be my guest. I'll be sure to tell everyone that you died fighting a death that's more stupid than those bums that fought the detachment unit. ------------------------- Thomas: I'm coming as well. Lucas: Our group is starting to grow a bit big.. Thomas: I didn't lie to Walter when I said I can go alone. I can hold my own with my visavain. Lily: Visa-what? Thomas held out his hands. A transluscent shape took form above his hands. The shape eventually took the form of what seemed to be a butterfly, fluttering around. Lily: Whoa! It's, like, making everything look all negative-like! Arminas: .. Thomas, was it? You're not a normal Sumara, are you? I've never seen one freely show his visavain like that. Lucas: .. In any case, it seems like he's not going to back down either. Lucas looks over at Elle. Lucas: And you? Are you going to come with us? |

| The train gave its final signal before it started its departure. The initial ride started to feel a bit bumpy before the train had chugged into a comfortable speed.
Meanwhile, a stewardess walked through the main cars, with a cart full of treats and ales. She had a very cheerful face on, and seemed to walk just fine despite the fact that she never opens her eyes. |

| Cedric furrowed his brows and gritted his teeth as a glowing light came out of the pockets his hands were in. The description of an adult filled him with rage as an old memory flared up inside.
He kicked up a bit of dirt before he bolted towards Ark. Once again, the boy appeared infront of Ark. Cedric: Do you know how much I dislike it when my plans do not succeed? I hate it. It fills me with the intense rage of a thousand suns. If you run in there now, like an ass looking for its tail, you'll not only die a pitiful death like the many I've killed, but you'll be stirring the hornet's nest. Your allies will not be able to sneak inside, unless they can crap out Gods of War wearing pink dresses that will dance for the army in there. Cedric brushed some hair out of his eyes, revealing a set of very cold eyes, despite the blazing red hue. Cedric: Or are you purposely trying to bring hardships onto your allies? -------------------- Arminas secured his boots before running on the path towards the Ruins of Light.
