Lucas: Hey! What are you doing?

Boy: Oh my! Yes, what are you doing?

Lucas quickly ran down.

Lucas: I demand an explanation for this, Ark.

------------------

Arminas: ... Are you related to Quoshi and Pioshi?

Cidoshi: Why yes, they're my older brothers. Do you know them?

Hailey manages to escape Sigmund's grip and immediately glomps the yoshi.

Hailey: He's so kyuuute!

Arminas: Kinda.

Lily: What're you doing out here?

Cidoshi: Well.. I was taking the Cid Sub Ship Mk. II for a test drive, but, well.... it sank.

Lily: ... Cid Sub Ship Mk. II?

Cidoshi: It's a vehicle I made that can run underwater!

Lily: Whoa, really?

Cidoshi: It was going great, but then.. a goat attacked me and ruined everything.

Boy: Oh my..

The boy ran over to the crystalized raft. He ran his hand over the new surface. The boy's creepy cheerful expression turned into a bit more serious one. One full of thought. His former face returned before he spoke.

Boy: What a wonderful thing to do!

Lucas: What are you talking about?

Boy: His art had turned the boat into a Holy Raft without the aid of a Holy Bottle!

Clara: Does.. Does that mean that we don't have to worry about the monsters in the water.

Boy: Indeed.

The boy looked at Ark, quirking a brow.

Boy: Isn't that nice of him?

Lucas: .. if you can ignore the sharpness of the crystals, perhaps. *looks at Ark* Ark, are you part of Gregorious' army?

----------------------

Arminas: A goat?

Cidoshi: *nods* A goat.

Arminas: A goat.

Suddenly, an image of Ark flashed in Lily's head. She didn't understand why, but she shook it off.

Lily: In the sea?

Hailey: Attacked you?

Cidoshi: Oh, why, he's right over there!

All of a sudden, a giant worm, which looked like a blue version of the Long Long Demon, pierced through the water's surface right next to Sigmund.

Lucas: SKY! Stop it right now. Both of you.

Clara: But he attacked our raft.. Not to mention our ship.

Lucas: This is neither the time nor place for a fight.

------------------

Arminas: That's a goat?!

The monster let out a bleating roar.

Cidoshi: It sounds like a goat.

Lily: Oh yeah...

Arminas immediately dove onto the rocks. He quickly pulled Sigmund up and away from the monster.

((... People.. ))

Clara drew her sword and stood by Sky. She glared fiercely at Ark.

Lucas: Damnit, Clara, Sky, Ark, all of you stop this.

Clara: Stand down. If you interfere with our path, you are interfering with justice. Right now, a poor girl is suffering in the hands of the enemy. I will not hold back even if you threaten us-- He fell..

---------------------------

Lily: Oooh.. If Drenchy were here, we could've just bounded right around him.

Arminas: Damnit.. we're gonna have to take it out... Lily, back me up. It doesn't seem to be able to move onto the ground, so we don't have to worry about it getting close.

Lily: Right.

Lucas: INDIGNATION JUDGEMENT!

Clara: Indi-

Before Clara even finished her though, a mighty beam of pure energy had came down from the heavens and struck the ground infront of Lucas. It sounded like the earth was in pain as the powerful attack actually tore up the ground. Clara found herself laying on a shallow portion of the lake. She wasn't sure how she ended there. The boy, who was far enough from the blast, was simply humming as he carefully cleared the crystals off of the raft, strangely not being hurt in anyway.

After the smoke cleared, Lucas stood above a crater, with his glasses shimmering in a way so that it'd hide his eyes.

Lucas: Get up. Both of you. I know both of you can take more than that.

Sky was sprawled out on one side of the crater while Ark was on the other side, with a bit of debris laying on him.

Lucas: I don't care what excuse you two give me, but I want this to stop now. If you're going to have your little pissing contest, then do it OFF the island.

There was a bit of smoke that hovered above Lucas.. which strangely formed the shape of a D and an M.

--------------

Arminas: Well, that rocky path's the only way to go, and that thing will just.. like attack us. That thing's long enough to clear us off the rocks.

Lucas stood firm.

Lucas: No one was listening to me.

Boy: I was just killing boredom--

There was a clap of thunder heard far above.

Boy: I'll keep quiet, sir.

Lucas: I wanted to know the reason for this idiocy. I assumed both you and Clara were mature enough to come with me, but it seems I might have been wrong. Both of you started acting like children as soon as a bigger child came up.

Boy: I've got the raft clear!

Lucas: Good. Let's get going.

There were two more claps of thunder. However, this time, one struck Sky, and the other struck Ark. They weren't very strong bolts at all, but it was strong enough to feel like a knock on the head.

Lucas: And make sure you don't smirk like that again, Sky. And let him run.

Lucas: So be it.

Lucas walked over to the raft, He stepped onto it, and sat down at one of the ends. He held his hands in the water, allowing steam to pour out. He lets out a groans, and then begins to breath harshly.

Clara slowly sheepishly walks onto the raft.

Clara: ... Are you ok?

Lucas: I've been better.

Boy: As soon as I find a nice pole to push us off, we'll be right off.

----------------------

Arminas: Unless you've got a better idea, old man.

Arminas's fists started to glow as he rushed at the giant worm. He unleashed a quick succession of blows to the monster, He was eventually knocked to the side by its flailing head. Fortunately, Arminas didn't fall off the rocky path.

Arminas: Grr.. Lily... a little help?

Lily: Oh! Right right.. Well, lemme think of a fire spell.

Hikari: That dang fool...

Mitra: Oh, this jewel mah-ty pretty..

Mitra bent down to pick up the jewel, which was cooled down by now.

Hikari: If he's stuck.. then that means...

Hikari spotted one horse, which was also encrusted within the dried up mud.

Hikari: .. Well, I suppose I shouldn't expect much. But.. I don't see the other horses.. If ya can hear me, Glenn, we're comin' to get ya!

The robot's cloak shifted around as it held up its arm cannon.

"Please pardon my hostile greeting. Are you--"

The robot's eyes quickly flickered as it attempted to scan the body of the creature that appeared before them. There was a slight hum coming from the rm canon.

"I have referenced five possibilities on what the creature lay before us. The probabilty of the creature being hostile is sixty percent. If the creature is a mixture of two possibilities, I will be unable to assist unless Mr. Nite is found."

Hikari: Tch, a cat that size should've atleast broken all the way through.. Alright, Miss Mitra, get on my back. Seems like the others are too dazed to help you out.

Hikari pulled out a pair of leather gauntlets from her pouch, and placed them on her hands.

Mitra: Hm.. Ah think Ah'll place it on mah hair.

Hikari: We can figure out how to do that when we get back-- Oh.. You.. got it on your hair.

Hikari looked at Mitra, who was smiling. The red jewel was, indeed, on Mitra's hair, like a normal jeweled hairpin. Hikari didn't want to understand how it worked and signaled for Mitra to get on her back.

Hikari: Geh.. Miss Mitra.. you're gettin' a bit heavy..

Mitra: Eek! You've.. found me out.. Ah'm sorry.. Ah've been trying to keep from eatin' those foreign candies...

Hikari: Well.. I can still carry you..

Hikari walked over to the edge, and simply hopped down. She thrusted her hand at the wall, and actually managed to slowly slide down.

Hikari reached the ground with no hassle. She stepped away from the rock wall, and started to walk towards Glenn, with a slight crunching sound from every step taken on the dried up mud.

Hikari: Looks like that doozy of a fortune teller we met the other day was right about us not wearing anythin' fancy today, Glenn.

Mitra hopped off of Hikari's back just as they reached Glenn. Both Hikari and Mitra held out their hands to help Glenn out.

Hikari: Nova, you don't need to be hanging around us anymore. You can go on home now.

Mitra: The horses sure went far!

Hikari: Oh yeah. Kinda makes me wonder why they were not even near this area. I'm sure they could've stayed out of the mud and still be in the area...

A small hole in the ground appeared next to Mitra. HIkari took notice of this and immediately pushed Mitra out of the way.

Mitra: Eep! Is something the matter, Miss Hikari?

All of a sudden, something long and pointy reached out of the hole and stabbed Hikari by her leg. She gritted her teeth as she quickly pulled out her dagger from her boot. She cut off what was stabbing her and impaled the creature that was inside of the hole.

She pulled up her dagger, with the creature attached to it.

Hikari: Damned Gohma critter.

The creature had one huge eye, which was pretty much skewered by Hikari's knife. It's body was very small, probably no larger than one foot. The body consisted of two legs and used to have one tail.

Strangely enough, it had a tiny ten gallon hat.

Hikari: I'd consider it cute if it didn' prick me. This must be the lil' bastard that done scared off the horses worse than Johnny's rain.

Mitra: Miss Hikari, are you ok?

Hikari flung the dead creature off into the air. She then pulled the tail out of her leg, flinching for a moment, and chucked it as well.

Hikari: Ah, yeah, I'm alright.

Mitra: Do you need me to heal you?

Hikari: Nah, it was just a little prick. No worse than sliding down rocks the wrong way. Come on, let's get back to town.

Hikari got onto a horse, and pulled Mitra up.
