But this path to the port rarely has any monsters traversing it anyway. |

Arminas: I'm not gonna waste my time fighting here. Ark, let's just leave the girl here. It'll be their problem when she goes psycho again. Curtis: Huh? Aha! We meet again! The crowd of people quickly clear out, leaving only Curtis, Isabella, and the chorus girls. All of a sudden, some upbeat, bigband music began playing in the background. Curtis: The boy is here, we found him at last! Let's get ready to kick his-- Isabella: We waited for this moment for so long, so let's get ready! Curtis: Get ready! Isabella: Get ready! Chorus: Get ready! Curtis, Isabella, & Chorus: Let's get ready! Get ready! Get ready! Get ready! Get ready! Isabella and Curtis both assuming fighting positions and stare Arminas down. Lily: .. um.. Army.. Did something happen between you and these people? I don't think they even realized what the villagers think is going on.. Arminas: It's a long story.. Well, maybe not, but I still don't want to talk about it. |

Arminas was in disbelief, with everything that just happened. He looked at Sigmund, who was taking care of a wounded hand while trying another effective way of keeping Cassandra quiet. Realizing the old man was there, he just tried to push away any doubting thoughts. After all.. It's Sigmund. Lily hopped towards the wagon, and bowed a bit. She hopped onto the wagon and waved at the crowd, who was clapping and slowly disbersing. Arminas started walking over to the wagon, when Curtis slowly walked up to him. Curtis: Hold on just a minute. There's still the matter about yesterday. Arminas: Ugh.. Lily: I don't know what happened, but you should forgive him! Curtis: Such an offense cannot be so easily forgiven! Right, Isabella? Isabella: Yes, Curtis. |

Lily holds out her hand, and speaks dramatically. Lily: He needs to go and save his beloved sister. Arminas: They don't care about something like that. Curtis: .. You.. You're doing this for love?! The chorus girls finally walked away. Curtis: Tell us your story, brother! Arminas: You do care?! Insert flash back sequences here. Curtis: I see. We understand completely. We'll do whatever we can to help! Won't we, Isabella? Isabella: Yes, Curtis. Curtis: You just say the word, brother! Arminas looks off to the side. He starts wondering why he's being called 'brother'. Curtis spins around and holds his arms out, while Isabella kneels down and holds her arms out. Curtis: If you say, "sing,", we shall sing as we have never sung before! Arminas: Uh, thanks, but I'll pass. Lily: So now we're looking for Teach. Oh.. uh.. Will. Did he come this way? Curtis: Did he come this way, Isabella? Isabella: I saw him with Miss Claveer and a newcomer. They were headed for the nearby port. I believe their destination is Angel Lake. Lily: Alright, Army! Now we've got a destination! |

Farid: Don't have ta worry about meh. I was actually about ta head on home right now. Farid reached into his vest again, and pulled out a seed with a bit of a funnel shape to it. He tossed it into the ground, which created a swirling vortex of colored wind around his feet. He was then wisked away into the air. Hikari: ....

Arminas: Don't worry. I can't imagine someone being unable to breathe in a wooden wagon. Lily let out a little sigh as Arminas started moving the wagon. As soon as they were out of range of anyone's ears.. Arminas: Let's cut her loose and just leave. Lily: Whoa, where did this come from? Arminas: She's going to be a real thorn in our side if we take her. ----------------------- The port wasn't very busy today. There were very few people walking on the two wooden platforms that make up the docks. The lower platform was made for the loading area for small boats, while the higher one was made for the huge cruise ships that come in every so often. Lucas: Oh, right, I better turn on the duct. Lucas kneeled down besides the duct, and pressed a few buttons. It started to hum. Clara: Well, what do we do now? Lucas: I suppose we should go by the lower platform. He wanted us to wait here, but if our destination is going to be Angel Lake, it might be safe to assume that we'll be taking one of the small boats. |

She stabbed poor Drenchy after such a motivational speech, and gave you a good clocking. If she did that, who knows how far she'll go to get to us again. ------------------ Lucas: Looks like a slow day... Clara: ... Are we supposed to be here? Lily: Whoa, we've got a schitzo here. Arminas felt a big ball of anger swelling up in his gut. Arminas: When I first found her, she was freaking out over some monsters around over there. Arminas pointed at the burnt patches of ground. Arminas: She had no idea why she was there, but Lucas brought her along anyway. She seemed alright with it then. The second time I see her, she attacked us, and now she's saying she's got no idea what we're talking about. Lily: ... yeah, total schitzo. --------------- Boy: I work on the docks. I have a letter for you.. Lucas: "Go to the lake that lies beyond Raging Bay." Yep, Angel Lake. Boy: I was performing some maintenance on a boat when I sudddenly noticed a letter and some money sitting beside me. There were also instructions written on it to hand the letter to a trio walking nearby. |

Arminas: Is this the right time to bring it up? Lily: Well, maybe. We've been standing infront of the duct all this time. Arminas: Treasure.. I think I know how to handle this. Arminas dug into his pockets. He then pulled out half of an egg shell. Lily: Wow, how did you manage to keep that without breaking it? Arminas: It's like a jewel, dummy. Lily: How would I know? I don't have one 
Arminas: But Allison does. Do you all remember what the Yoshenyoshi said? You can hear each others feelings or something like that. Lily: *scratches head* So.. how's that gonna help? Arminas: I was able to contact Allison with it.. Well.. sort of. It's more like.. speaking with feelings. Like.. you keep thinking about saying something.. and you'll eventually get that feeling. Lily: But I don't see how that's gonna help, though.. Arminas: Just give me a moment, ok? Arminas closed his eyes, and the hand that was holding the shell. There was a bit of light shining through his fingers. Arminas: ... What the.. You're in a bad situation and you're still scolding me? Lily: Haha! Looks like you can't hide your anger. Arminas: Can it, Lily. *clears throat* Alright.. Allison.. Please understand.. Cassandra's distressed. She thinks we did something to you, and is thinking we're trying to do something wrong. The light was shining for a bit. Arminas: Well.. we.. might have caused some trouble, but she started it! Lily looks at Ark for a moment. Lily: He says you can only 'feel' feelings.. but.. um.. it seems like he's having a full on conversation here. Arminas: *sighs* I'm sorry.. We were just put in a bad situation.. Just.. please, try to show her that we're not the bad guys here. Arminas walks over to Cassandra. Cassandra seems to resist, but Arminas still shoves the jewel-like item into Cassandra's hands. Arminas: You may not really understand it well, since.. uh.. well, she's my sister. But I'm sure you'll get the point. Arminas steps away, and looks off to the side. Arminas: Damnit, that thing hurts like hell when you squeeze on it... I'm still amazed it didn't break when I fell.. -------------------- Boy: Are you not the right trio? Lucas: We are. This letter is for us. Boy: Ah, great! Well then, good day.

Arminas: You spoke to her before, didn't you? You've got to atleast have an idea of what she's like, then. Just.. Just think of something like.. 'Help me' over and over.. or.. 'Speak to me'.. or something. Ah, I don't know how to explain it.. ---------------------- ???: What is it? Allison: I was speaking with.. my brother... And now I'm starting to feel something really bad.. Like.. it's making me want to curl up in a ball.. Allison looked up and stared at the iron bars infront of her. She was inside a dome-shaped cell, which was inside of a very dank and hot room. There wasn't much light coming in except for the unusual reddish-orange glow coming from beyond the bars. There were two others with her, but Allison was unable to see them because there was a divider between them. All she knew was that there were two others like her that was locked up, but only the girl spoke. ???: Do you really believe your brother will come to save you? Allison: Of course. He did it once.. and I know he'll do it again.. I may have been a burden.. but.. I'll still try to cheer him on. ---------------------- Boy: Well, no, nothing is wrong with my boat. Please, keep your money, the money that was left for me will suffice for a VERY long time. But.. I'm a bit protective of my boat.. So, if you don't mind, I'd like to drive it. Lucas: Well, I don't see anything wrong with it. Clara: It's very impressive that someone your age has even acquired a boat. The boy looks down and scratches his head. Boy: Eh heh.. Arminas: What the HELL? Arminas held tightly onto the shell, but eventually put it away. Arminas: Allison.. You picked a fine time to... Alright, whatever. I give up. Ark, you better do something about her. If you don't, then maybe you should leave. Lily: What?! No way! Arminas: And why not? Lily: Because we came to help you out! Arminas: I thought you just wanted Allison's brooch! Lily remained quiet. Arminas walked over to the nearby duct. Arminas: ... Can this take us to the port? Lily: Y-yeah..You just think of the place you want to go.. Arminas: Yeah.. I heard about it.. *sighs* Ark, I don't know if you understand how serious Sky, Lucas, Clara are, but they're not going to be any happier if they spot us. You'd better take responsibility for this. Lily: Maybe she'll warm up to us after some time.. Arminas: Yeah right. I know people like her. They're the ones who started this mess. Arminas walked onto the duct, and immediately disappeared. Lily: D-Drenchy! What're you doing?! She's gonna.. Lily held out her hands, immediately in spell casting mode. However, upon looking at Ark's eyes, she slowly moved her hands down. Lily: Ok.. Drenchy.. But if she does something to you, I don't know if I'll be able to keep myself from just smacking her once before we let her go. ------------------------ Arminas stepped off the other side of the duct. He looks around, and inhales the seabreeze that lurks around. Arminas: Allison.. I will save you. Just please hold on... Arminas spots Sky, Lucas, and Clara, and immediately dashes towards the high platform, which was the only hiding spot he can run to. Arminas watched the others walk towards a small wooden boat. There was a motor in the back, and the steering wheel was placed over the cabin. |

Lily: We wasted so much time! Please don't let it be too late! ... Is that Army and Gramps over there? Why haven't they gotten on the boat? Arminas looked past Sigmund and noticed Ark and Lily running. He motioned for them to come by where he was. Lily: What are you doing?! We're supposed to be getting on board! Arminas: Look at it. Probably no longer than five meters. A boat that size isn't something you can sneak on. Lily: Gramps could do it. Arminas: But not the rest of us. We can't even hide inside it, since Clara's inside. Lily: It's not like you to be thinking, Army. Arminas: I want to make sure they don't find a way to stop us. Random Man on Dock: You can use my boat! Arminas finally hit his head on the fist stand. Arminas: How'd you find us here? Random Man on Dock: You're after the boat that's leaving, right? If you leave now, you can still catch them. The man points over at another boat that was parked nearby. |
