We can't just sit here while Gregorious runs free on Neo Grape Gardens! Lucas: Yes. We cannot let this go on... Even if it means taking on an entire country's army. Clara: First, we need information. More information than the basic intel we have already. We have to discover Gregorious' whereabouts and motives. Lucas: Yes, which is why I've contacted Cedric the Unseen. Clara: Cedric? The Cedric? He's famous for having more information than anyone on the island! And then some! |

And besides, I told you we were only going to be together until we got Allison back. Lucas: Uh-huh. And then, after charging off alone, you wound up losing her. Now, after all that, you come back crying back for our help. You expect us to just say 'Okay'? Arminas: ... I didn't come.. crying back for help. Lucas: Then good luck working alone. Clara, Sky, and I will continue by ourselves. Don't worry. If we rescue Allison back, we'll be sure to contact you. Let's go guys. I appreciate your help. |

| Lily grabbed Ark and Sigmund's hands and dragged thw two around the side the side of the house. She released her grip and pushed herself against the house wall.
Lily: If we speak to them right now, we'll most likely be blown off... However.. I have a foolproof plan! We're going to secretly follow them! ----------------- Lucas headed out the door, followed by Clara. Arminas: Wait! Clara stops walking, and turns around. Clara: Despicable. | Everyone finally exited the mines, with Hikari and Mitra bringing up the rear. The entrance for the mine just happened to be up a hill that would've led around the rock wall everyone had climbed earlier.

| Arminas stood there as he watched Lucas, Clara, and Sky walk out of the house.
Lily continued to press herself against the house wall. Whether or not anyone saw them, no one paid any attention to them. Lily: Phew.. they didn't see us.... Hum... Well, I guess it's best if we get Army with us.. Meanwhile, Arminas' eyes became glued to the floor. He sighed a bit. He waved his hand at Cassandra without looking. Arminas slowly stepped out of Lucas' house, with a giant aura of depression lingering over Arminas. Lily slowly poked her head from the side of the house, making sure Clara, Sky, and Lucas were out of range. Lily: Yo, Army! Arminas turned around to see Lily running out from the side of the house. Arminas: Lily.. Lily ran over to Arminas and hugged his arm. Lily: I can't believe you're alive! And in one piece! I was really worried about you!
Arminas: You were?
Lily released Arminas and hopped back a few steps. Lily: Or not! 
Arminas: Make up your mind 
Lily: You can gripe better than that! Come on! Get mad! |

Lily: I guess Teach and Sammy must've come down on you pretty hard, huh? Well, fear not, Army! We're on your side! We'll be right there along with you on your rescue mission! Arminas: .. You're not gonna criticize me like the others did? Lily: Of course not! I trust you!
Arminas: ... You're a terrible liar. Lily: Bleh. I guess there's no point in keeping that up. I don't really think that was cool ditching us like that, but I've got my own priorities. Arminas: What do you want? Lily: Ally's brooch. Arminas: It's not a jewel, you know. You wouldn't be able to get any money for it. Lily: No, dummy! It's not about the money, I want the stone in the brooch. That stone looks like something I've been searching for forever: The Everlight! Arminas: That's not what it was called, though. It was.. uh.. something.. Tear. Lily: I'll tell you what. How about you get me that stone in exchange for helping you rescue Ally. Arminas: ... That's.. a tough choice. Lily: Oh come on, now! Don't you think her life is a lot, lot, looooot more important? Arminas: .... Well.. I'll try to talk to her, but no guarentees. Lily: I guess that'll be alright for now. Lily turned around and winked at Ark and Sigmund. Lily: I'm good! |

Lucas holds out note he had previously fished out from the fountain plaza. Lucas: "We will meet at Angel Lake. Please go to the docks." Perhaps he lives somewhere out there.. Clara: Angel Lake.. that's in the center of the island, is it not/ Lucas: Indeed it is. The fastest way to get there would be to take a ship, sail around, and through the passage that divides the island. We would eventually have to sail over Raging Bay. --------------------- Arminas: Then how do you get information from him? Lily: You send him a letter in a certain way, and an answer comes back with information you requested. Arminas: What a hassle.. |

| Clara's mind started to wander a bit as the trio walked. She wasn't paying too much attention to the converstaion at this point since her ears were tuned in to something else.
"Outragerous! Where do you get off at?" "But.. but they're perfectly trained! They'll do your bidding!" Clara: Oh.. yes.. the Yoshenyoshi. Lucas: You bring up a good point Sky. Perhaps he has a connection with the Yoshenyoshi? Hm... Though.. it's best not to form conclusions on just assumptions. ------------------------ Lily: Alright! Let's follow Teach, and then we can find out what they know! Arminas: That's your plan? Lily: Hey! No complaining! Let's just get going to the fountain plaza. Arminas: Why there? Arminas: Something feels wrong.. Lily and Arminas step inside the house. Arminas noticed Cassandra was missing. He shrugged a bit until he heard some cloth movements around where the sofas were. Arminas walked in a bit more and noticed Cassandra on the floor. Arminas: Cassandra? Lily: Cassie? Cassie! Army, what did you do? Arminas: I did nothing! You saw me, I stepped out after the other guys! Lily ran over to Cassandra, and started shaking her shoulder. Lily: Cassie! What's wrong? Cassie! ------------------------ Lucas clears his throat. Lucas: I assure you, that isn't the case here. I can't speak for any newcomers, but the villagers that have been living here from the start are fine people. Random Villager 34: *pant pant* Lucas: Is something wrong? Random Villager 34: No.. nothing serious.. I just came from the port.. Lucas: You look exhausted, why didn't you come through the duct? Random Villager 34: That's the thing.. The duct wasn't turned on near the port. Lucas: ... Did you try turning it on? Random Villager 34: .... oh.. right.. Ah well, a little exercise doesn't hurt anyone. The villager walked past Sky, dragging his feet. Lucas: *sighs* The duct over at the port has a tendency of just shutting off, so looks like we're going to have to walk there. It's not far, but it's still a walk. |

Hikari pulls Mitra out of the way of the mine entrance. A wave of debris, dust, and tools were sent flying out, as well as a few unconcious dondongos. Hikari: Well.. atleast the mountain just collapsed in itself... |

Lily's hands started to glow as she immediately got onto casting her healing spell on Ark. Meanwhile, Arminas stood infront of Lily and Ark, and held up his own set of glowing fists. Arminas: Hey, lady. We don't have any time for you. I heard there's a jail cell in Lucas' basement. I'm no sheriff, but I'll drag you in there if you're going to cause us trouble. ----------------------------- Lucas: Well, that's certainly a nice thought. For your sake, then, I hope we don't run into any monsters along the way |

Arminas slowly walked towards Cassandra. His hands were still glowing. Lily: Ok.. this is gonna hurt for just a little moment, Drenchy.. Sorry... Lily helped Ark with removing the spear from his body, and quickly went on with one more healing. Lily: What do we do now? Arminas: I'd say we throw her in a prison cell. Lily: That's kinda mean, isn't it? I mean.. we all kinda ditched her and the others.. Arminas: Look at what she did to me! And to him! Lily: ... You're right! Let's haul her off. ------------------------------- Lucas's glasses shimmered for a moment. Lucas: Monsters tend to stay within their own territorial bounds. That doesn't mean they won't occasionally try to make their way to any nearby towns. It could be for any reason, really. Food, sickness, looking for a new home. If monsters weren't so violent to begin with, we wouldn't have much need for fighting with them. |
