| Hikari: Whatever the case, we're gonna have to deal with goin' over the lava..
There was a soft rumble echoing about, mixing in with molten bubbling noises. All of a sudden, a large, dragon-like being spewed out of the lava. It flew through the air with great, leaping bounds, propelling itself by flaming wings that protrude from its back like spears from hell. Every jet of white-hot death that erupts from its mouth scorches all that it touches. Forests have died beneath its heat. Entire lakes have been reduced to dried up holes in the ground with a single breath. They call it Volvagia. Hikari: That description seemed mighty fishy! I haven't heard of no lakes 'round these parts. .... A firery, beast flies out of the lava. It roars, breathes fire, and looks pissed. There's a broken sign laying around saying something about "Beware of Valoo", but Hikari couldn't decipher the ancient looking text. Hikari: That sounds a bit better. Ahem.. Eek! Everyone look alive! |

| Arminas and Allison finally caught up to everyone just as the path started changing from underground village to underground mines. As usual, there was fallen debris everywhere, but it was just a mere annoyance than really blocking the path.
Pioshi: There's a stairway leading to the surface a little further ahead. We can get out through there. Quoshi: Yes, but we must be wary! There are a few creatures down here that are able to cast crystal ome attacks. |

| The dragon dived onto one side of the platform, evading the icey shards and vial that were aimed at it. It planted all four legs onto the "ground", giving it a slight quake. Magma was slowly trickling off the beast's scales and piling around as it lumbered towards the group.
Farid: That's a mighty fine beast, there. Hikari: No kidding. I'm amazed it was able to move like that. Hikari looked to her side nearly fell into the lava moat. The kidnapper that Nova had taken out earlier was crouched besides Hikari. Hikari: Whoa! But.. You.. I.. You're supposed to have been like.. Farid: Dunno if he was aimin' to kill meh or make meh sleep, but them tricks don't work too long on someone like me. Hikari: .... Wait wait wait! Since when did we find out your name, mister? Farid: !! Hikari: That's right. I've got them captions on. Farid: Uh... Dunno. Ye gotta problem with it? Hikari: I appreciate formal introductions. Farid: Very well then. Me na-- Hikari: Except I'm not caring anythin' about you, ya under-handed-- The dragon let out another roar, in which both Hikari and Farid glared at the dragon. Hikari & Farid: Shut up! Of course the dragon didn't take this sitting down. Its throat expanded, putting some special organs to work. A steam of fire was set loose, sending Hikari and Farid to duck out of the way of the attack. Hikari: Hey, ya kooky folk! Got any bright ideas on how to get out of this? | Lily's jaw was left hanging as she gave Ark an empty gaze.
Lily: You... You... You don't use omes? Her fingertips started to glow as she stomped towards Ark. She waved her hands, unleashing a small wall of fire near Ark. The fire fried several of the blobs, and just pushed the one that was just a blob back. Lily then stood infront of Ark. Lily: I made it extremely clear that I was looking for ome users, and yet you snuck in, pretending like you were an iron ome user?! What's wrong with you? Clara: ... I don't understand how Lily tried to turn that around |

| Hikari grabbed Johnny and pulled him onto the ground.
Hikari: I reckon I don't, seeing as how you and that guy just pissed the dragon off even more. The cloud of water vapors had caused the dragon's flames to flicker a bit. However, since the water vapors weren't coming in at a constant rate, as well as being vapors, they just formed more steam in the area. Mitra: Oh, just be nice to it! Ah'm sure it'll understand! Hikari turned her head to look over where Mitra was. Hikari: You preachin' on about the Ultimate Battle Strategy in a time like this?! |

| Lily: Hmph. It doesn't take much to knock these guys around, anyway.
Arminas: Allison, stay close by to Cassandra. Allison: Okay.. Stepped around, keeping an eye out on any stray eggtopus that somehow got by. While he looked around, he took note of several dark creatures flying towards everyone. They looked a bit humanoid in shape, and looked like they were wearing flowing dresses, but something was odd about them. Arminas: Quoshi, who are those over there? Quoshi: Hm? Oh! Those are the crystal ome creatures I spoke of earlier. Lucas: They seem to be a species of Diva.. Many have said their habits resemble to those of the stories about Sirens.. or harpies. Arminas: I take it that means we don't want them nearby. Arminas lunged at one of the knocked out blob creatures. He tossed the creature into the air, and jumped up himself. With a glowing fist, he spiked the blob right into one of the creatures flying towards the group, and sent it spiraling into the ground. |

| Lily: Fine then! How about you jump down there, and greet the bigger group of monsters, while we take care of the ones that tried to ambush us! Let's see the tune you'll be singing.
Lucas walked over to Lily and Ark, and gave both of them swift knocks on the head. Lily: Ow! Lucas: Stop it, you two. Lucas: Try letting that soak into your head. *looks at Ark* I have a hard time believing that you are not from this world. However, I've been living on this island for ten years, and I'm always being surprised with a new discovery. I won't doubt that you're not in touch with life. Lily: Like living under a rock! Lily had another fist dopped on her head. Lucas: I swear you're going to cause my hair to turn gray. *looks at Ark again* Anyway, it's admirable that you have an optimistic look on life, but you need to understand that the wildlife, atleast on this island, do not feel the same way as you do. Most creatures WILL attack on sight. Lucas gives a few glares at Sky and Lily. | Hikari looks at Nova and then at Mitra.
Hikari: Fine then! If none-a-ya'll gonna do it, I'll do it myself. Mitra: Oh, Ah'm so proud of you, Miss Hikari. 
Farid: That's it, lass! Go and do it! Hikari: Shut up, you. You don't even know what I'm talkin' about. The red head stood up, and took a deep breath, despite how hot it went down into her lungs. She held up her arms, with wide open hands. She then slowly approached the dragon. Hikari: Easy there, big boy. Nothin's gonna happen, see? Mitra: C'mon, Miss Hikari! Big smah-le! Hikari: Eh heh.. um.. Hikari tried to think of the pleasant feeling of drinking Chateau Romani. She was eventually able to pull out a smile, but she was still a bit nervous in producing it. Mitra: There ya go! Hikari took another step towards the dragon, when it reared its head back. Hikari noticed the movements in its throat, and immediately ran back to where she was. Hikari: I couldn't do it! 
She lunged at the ground just in time to avoid a ball of fire hocked over her. |

| The dragon easily evaded Johnathan's oncoming attack, and quickly took notice of Nijote's daggers. Dragons always have an eye for shiney objects, and Nijote's daggers were shiney enough for Volvagia to dodge.
However, thanks to the distraction provided by Nijote, the dragon didn't notice Johnathan's attack had exploded the moment it hit the floor. Large concentrations of ice had pelted Volvagia, quickly accumulating large chunks on its skin. Steam was pouring off of the dragon's body, but there was too much ice for it all to be melted at once. Volvagia's movements were slowed down to almost a halt. Hikari: Alright! Now that the beast's slowed down... Hikari looked up. The amount of light pouring in from the newly made skylight was slowly going away. She then looked to the side. There was the path that Nova had mentioned. There wasn't anything else worth looking at except for the unconcious biggoron that was floating about in the lava. Hikari was a bit amazed at how Mule Joe wasn't melting away in the lava. |

| Lily: Whoa, like.. mood swing.
Clara had finished kicking away one of the ambushing blobs when she heard Lily. Clara: You're one to talk. The flying creatures, Divas as they were called by Lucas, continued to move towards the group of adventurers. As soon as they landed infront of everyone, their bodies began to light up. Lucas: These must not have had much experience. They're already trying to cast a spell on us. Arminas: Like hell they are! Arminas bolted towards one of the Divas, and used his shoulder to bash it into the ground. He grabbed the downed creature, and swung it around, knocking down the other Divas. He then tossed the creature into the wall. Arminas: See? No problem. Lucas: Like I said. They probably don't have much experience. Arminas: Well, whatever. They're knocked out. Not my problem anymore. Lily: Well, geeze, Army, you could've atleast done as cool as Drenchy. He's totally tearing them up! |

Lucas: Such destructive skill... Arminas: Tch. Can we get moving, already? We're wasting time. Clara looked ahead, noticing the remains of what used to be the monsters. Clara: .. Selk is right. We should move on before more monsters appear. Lily: Sounds alright to me. Lily hopped down next to Ark, and picked up some random Shines and Omes left behind by the Eggtopussi and Divas. Clara shook her head as she sheathed her sword. Arminas looked back, waiting for Allison to catch up before walking. Lucas: ... I really would've hated to see what damage those two would've caused to the island if I had let them off on their own.. |

Lily: Hey hey hey! I don't need help picking this up. Clara: She's making sure you don't keep it all to yourself.
Lily: .. Hey! Are you accusing me of trying to take it all for myself? 
Clara: Yes. Yes I am. 
Lily ran over to Arminas and tugged on his arm. Lily: Hmph! Army! You don't believe her, do you? Arminas pulled his arm away from Lily and kept on walking. Arminas: Buzz off. Allison: Arminas.. Arminas: What? I don't really care. Lily: Oh, you can be so mean sometimes, Arminas! |

| Pitch: Yo mang...
Rick: What're you griping about now? It was a lovely day on the floating island of Neo Grape Gardens. However, the little green quail Pitch Falco and fellow hamster Dreamlander Rick Gerbil were both sitting in the Dreamlander household, watching tv. Pitch: I just like.. had some weird experience, mang. Rick: Oh.. It must be something going on below us. We're currently floating over Japan. Pitch: Japan, huh? Hey, mang, don't wait up, I'm gonna go catch up on some stuff. Rick: Alright. Be careful. I think I heard Kirbynite launching the Heavy Lobster. ----------------------------- Above the battlefield twinkled a bright star. There was something special about this star. It was so special, in fact, that it wasn't even a star! A huge, metallic heap landed ontop of the Iron Mask Tank, with one leg crushing the turret. The large mech shimmered in the sun, showing off its golden shine. Kirby: Heavy Lobster X.0, Mark IV has been launched! ... Hum.. well, I guess it's a bit late to say that.. The Heavy Lobster consisted of the main body, with the cockpit inside, several booster rockets in the back, two large legs, and two arms with large claws attached. The mech looked like half a humanoid mobile suit. Steam poured out of all the vents in the top leg units, and in the mech's underbelly. Kirby: Hey, guys, I hope I didn't come too late. A good observer would notice Kirbynite was inside of the cockpit, flipping switches and moving levers. However, he was currently in his human form, donned in a blue bandana, blue jacket, a white shirt, and blue jeans. Definitely comfortable attire to be wearing inside the airconditioned cockpit. | Kirbynite turned his head to look at Grey walk by. He frowns for a moment and gives out a laugh.
Kirbynite: Yeah.. Anyways... *looks back at the bar* Oi! You still could've atleast let us know! Me an' Grey would've remembered ya! Kirbynite slowly walks towards the pool. Kirbynite: The nerve.. Not tellin' anyone... His irritated face slowly went away and was replaced with pure delight. He started skipping. Kirbynite: Eeee! Another appearance of an old SFer!
Upon hearing the sound of a familar person's body hitting a dumpster, Kirbynite turned around. Kirbynite: Hey! James! What do you think you're doing?! Bouncer: My job. Kirbynite: ... er.. I.. Hey.. Wait a minute, what year are we in? Bouncer: 2006. Kirbynite: Right right.. Out of character.. not SF years... Oh, dang. The Dreamlander soon found himself being launched into a nearby dumster. |

| Kirbynite: ... Well, it'd have to be a short party. Soon, I'm going to be able to go back there without being tossed in the dumpster.....
Kirby munches on a half eaten pizza slice. Kirbynite: Screw the party, the blackjack, and the hookers.... Uh, not in a literal sense. I say we find a way to get back at them. Like... revenge, or something. It'll be something to do while I figure out how to get to Ahrion. |
