| The mountain in the distance began to look clearer to Hikari. The peak of the Stairway to Hell seemed to want to scrape the sky. There was a ring of clouds around the top of the mountain, but since Hell's part of the name, Hikari assumed it was some sort of volcano.
She shook her head, attempting to focus her thoughts. She's supposed to be concentrating on chasing after the man. Hikari: Grr... They've gotten so far ahead... I wish our horses had more time to rest.. Hikari quinted her eyes There was a tall wall of earth that sticks out infront of the mountain. Hikari: I better be prepared.. No tellin' if he's got some people waitin' around that corner.. Hikari, while holding tightly onto her horses' reigns, uses her free hand to check the quiver on her back. |

Arminas: Oh, don't play that card again. ----------------- Lily: I'm always careful! A little mischievious grin appeared on the little girl's face as she trekked over t the source of the shining. As soon as she cleared the tree, she was greeted to a vast assortment of beautiful treasure. Golden cups, diamond necklaces, sparkling dresses, even Shines. Lily: Jackpot!! Lily rubbed her hands together as she walked closer to the treasure mound, ignoring all the large, thick cobwebs in the area. Lily: Oh, I wish I brought a bigger pouch.. All of a sudden, what could be described as two large, boulder-like spiders leapt out from behind the crystal trees. Lily: .... Eeeh heh.. Um... Nice spiders...? She held out a hand, which started to glow with a deep violet aura. The area around Snipes started to feel a bit warm.. Danielle: Either tell me now, or die. ----------------------- The spiders let out a very loud screech that caused Lily to tremble. Lily: Ooooh... 
The spiders then started to march forward. Lily: I'm not gonna stay here!! And just like that, Lily took off like the wind. |

And with that, a great flame spewed out at Snipes. --------------------- Lily kept on running until she ran past Arminas and company. Lily stops as soon as she runs past everyone, and turns around. Lily: Oh, hey! You guys look like ome users. How would you like to join my party? Arminas: How about no? Lily: How could you not help a cute girl like me out? Unless.... you don't like cute girls.. Arminas: No! I mean.. yes! I mean.. Argh! Lily: Well, if it's just cute girls, or if it's just me.. it doesn't really matter now. Hello! Clara: .. Who are you waving to? Lucas, Clara, and Arminas turns around and notices a man being chased by two very large spiders. Arminas: ... Holy crap, those things look bigger than we are! The spiders were doubly pissed off at Ark's attempt to keep them at bay. They were aiming to mow down everyone that was in its way. |

| Arminas: We're being attacked like dogs right now!
The spider Ark attacked was definitely stopped. He let out a screech before it fell onto the ground. Lucas: Lightning! Lucas waved his glowing hands and pointed at the spider with the spear in it. A bolt of lightning came down from the heavens and struck the spider. Its body was left in a smoldering mess, and wasn't moving at all. The other spider was still moving, however, and it was moving at full speed. Arminas and Clara stood back, waiting for the spider to get within their own range to strike at it. |

| Arminas and Clara looked at each other with slight confusion.
Arminas: No.. doesn't ring any bells. Arminas pulled a crystalized blade of grass out of the ground and flung at the spider Sky had just burned down. It was definitely dead, as seen by several Shines and an ome falling out of its body. Lily: Mine mine mine! Arminas: What the hell were those things, anyway? Lucas: A crystalantula. They're not aggressive, but they're protective of their nests. They like to collect shiney objects, so treasure hunters tend to bother them. |

She was holding out her bow, and had a very angry look on her face. Hikari: Try lettin' us women folk know you're gonna make it rain! Ugh, of all the reckless... The kidnapper spoke in a slightly youthful, but gruff voice. However, the accent was not so much as western.. Kidnapper: Oh? Think ye got meh, eh? He gave his horse a few kicks. The horse gave out a whiney and started to speed up, despite the fact that rain was starting to come down. |

Arminas: *looks at Cassandra* Hey! I don't remember anyone agreeing to her! Lily: Just watch! Lily sways back and forth, while staring at the crystal wall (the part that Ark wasn't standing beside). Lucas' glasses shimmer when he realizes that Lily's fingertips are glowing. Lucas: No! Wait! Stop! Lily: Fissure! But Lucas' words were not heard, as Lily slammed a fisted gauntlet into the ground. A small portion of the crystal wall cracked, and shattered all over, forming a path directly to the other side. Lily: See? I did it
Lucas: Argh!! Lily: Is something wrong, Teach? Lucas walked over to Lily, and whacked her on the head. Lily: Ow! What was that for?! Lucas: You destroyed a part of nature's beautiful structures. You're coming with us, young lady. Lily: Huh? Wha..? Lucas: Forgive me, Ark, but I have to watch her like a hawk to prevent anymore destruction against nature. Arminas: Oh for the love of... | Lucas: The Everlight?
Lily: The Everlight! You know! It's able to grant any wish! Clara: Any wish? I find that hard to believe. Lily balls her hands into fists and stomps on the ground. Lily: Ohh! Where's your sense of wonder? Of adventure? Lucas: Information pertaining the Everlight was found in recent tablets that dates back to the Kingdom of Fungeria. Researchers haven't been able to decphier all of the old Fungerian text, that and the tablets making no sense just added up to assuming there never was such a thing as the Everlight. Lily: Pfft. Those eggheads are a bunch of wimps. Lucas: Even so.. Arminas: We've wasted enough time, can we get going now? I don't even care who's coming with us anymore. Lucas: *sighs* Excuse my impatient friend here. We're on the way to rescue his sister, whom people have believed to be the Linnara. Lucas looked at the currently unnamed Drow and Ark. There was a slight hesitation in his voice before he spoke again. Lucas: I'd advise for you to come with us. From what Sky told us earlier, there might be a small army coming this way, and they're not in the best of moods. |

| Hikari gave Johnathan a rather scary glare. It was one of those soul piercing ones that women can do.
Hikari: *gritting teeth* Too late. Might as well go with it now. And the damage on this skirt's comin' out of your pay, Johnny. Johnathan had given Hikari an idea. She always thought of herself to be a rather quick and agile person, and she definitely knew she can move faster than her horse is moving now. Hikari ripped a good portion from the bottom of her skirt, and tucked it away in her side pack. She wasn't too keen on the idea of a mini-skirt, but you gotta do what you can to move fast. She patted her horse, and then actually stood ontop of the horse. She took a deep breath, then leapt forward. She landed in the mud on her knees and hands. Hikari didn't bother to care if she looked pathetic the way she landed. She fought against sinking into the mud all the while trying to move forward. She wasn't doing so bad. Infact, she was eventually able to stay almost ontop of the surface. Kidnapper: Now these are rough seas if Ah seen 'em! Now hol' on tight, lass. Ah don't think Ah'd la-ket much if yeh fell in. The kidnapper pulled out a what seemed to be a beautiful blue feather from inside of his vest. He placed a hand, the one holding onto the feather, on the horse's back, while he managed to pull one of his legs up. He almost seemed like he was partially crouching ontop of the horse. Mitra: Ooh, what a pretty feather. Kidnapper: This is mah-ty uncomfortable, Ah asure yeh. Well, here we go! Hikari couldn't believe what she was seeing. The kidnapper leapt off the horse, and it seemed like he was flying! She didn't want to believe it, but the young man just kept moving higher, and further away. Hikari: Stop the rain now, Johnny.
The kidnapper and Mitra were moving over the rocky wall, when all of a sudden, they both dropped, as if they were just snatched from the air. |

Arminas shook his head as he walked through the crystal passage. When he reached the other side, he was greeted with a field of normal grass and normal trees. He couldn't see anything else that seemed significant except for the random lizardmen running about a rock formation in the distance that's jutting out of the ground for no reason. Arminas: ... Where did that bastard take, you, Allison... Arminas spotted something sparkling on the ground.
