Well, that was random...


Anyway, I just came back from the beach. Yay. It was fun until my dad forced me to walk two miles across the beach under threateningly dark clouds while he sat and rested. I got to see my cousins from Texas, though.

The weather channel said it's supposed to rain every single day. It thundered a lot today, but we got maybe five minutes of rain, tops.

Every year for the Fourth of July, we go out to the beach and set off fireworks. Not only do we get to blow up sandcastles, but afterwards we get to watch two gigantic fireworks shows at the same time. Whee!!

Well, I just had a fun 4th of July.

At noon I went to a cookout and had hot dogs with some delicious homemade rolls. Then at 9:15 the County Club put on a 20 minute fireworks show. We didn't get to go to the beach, though.

I didn't do much. There was a cookout at lunch time and fireworks at 9:15. There was a parade at 10:00 in the morning, but I splet through it.


The fireworks were good, though.

That reminds me of one time at the beach, a rocket tipped over just before launching and flew sideways. Somebody was holding their arms in the air (showing the size of something, I think) and it flew straight between his hands.

I got to see the Italy vs. Germany match. It was kind of funny at the end. Not only did they get a goal in the second overtime, but another goal in the overage time just to kinda kick them in the face, so to speak.

My brother saw lightning strike the water on Sunday. I missed it because I was looking in the other direction, but he said the water glowed orange and sparks shot out. I wish I saw it.
