(I looked at both General Gaming and ROM Hacking, and it looks like it belongs here

Need help with anyone good at using ZSNES's cheat editor!

I'm looking for a code for Populous 2 (if you don't have it, find it ).

The main power is "Mana". I don't know if there's 6 types of mana or one type; is there any chance for someone to find it? Thanks.

Edit: Damn; meant to add more to the title; forgot you can't edit the title. Can a mod change it to "looking for populous 2 PAR codes?" or something?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, exactly, but I'm patching it to a clean copy of Mario World, then when I load it, nothing loads up.

What's wrong?; I'd love to see this in action.

Probably; It's also probably not the IPS maker's fault; it's done it with the past three patches I've used on the ROM; I'll just download another version.

you simply activated emulator frame skip(badly called 'fastward') during an event, I think that still happen in the original game, just DON'T do that


Huh; didn't realize that could cause problems; I do it out of habit, so I just disabled the keys. Thanks!.

Yeah, still doing it to me, too.

It's not much of a problem; the levels still play fine and all, though.

And one last question: the color of the level (the yellow has one exit, red two exits) is always correct, right? I've seen hacks where they "lie"; I'd like to not have to go crazy looking in every level.

1. To post them on the board, yes; a) it's much smaller, and b) it's not illegal.

2. Basically, a headered rom is one with a small amount of "blank space" at the front for a little more extra room; if you're using an editor, you'll probably need to make sure it's headered. To add a header, use SNESTool.
