I am planning a full scale hack of SMB1 and I wish to have upside down pipes and other SMB2j stuff for the level layouts (I am using YY mario editor). can anyone tell me where to get the MHS smb2j patches so I can use the smb2j stuff in my hack?

Man... I gotta say you are like the best hacker ever... I cant even figure out how to put upside down pipes in my mario hack...or edit levels without a level editor.

Ok... the hack is fabulous... Nintendo caliber material. the levels aren't too difficult and the old feel of my favorite Mario, SMB3 is there... one question though. In Castle#2 I got to the part where there is a giant sawblade and a pit of lava that seems impossible to jump over. I tried everything... even running on the spikes after losing my mushroom and I still can't make that jump... anyone know how to make it?? other than this slight issue I must say... fabulous job

Ok... here's my input on this... There is a lot of stuff that matters more than just games... like attractiveness, personality and attitude. A girl could be a fantastic gamer but be a total bitch. I'd see it as an added bonus though... and a really good added bonus If she liked Mario the best out of all games... because I only play Nintendo games... and usually the Nintendo games I play are Mario... but yah basically an added bonus

What about an Ice Flower... it would be the same as a fire flower only Mario's overalls would be blue... it could kill multiple enemies with one icicle and kill buzzy beetles

You know, you just could have it so that you throw the ice blocks at an enemy instead of snowballs... that would also work and be radically different than the fireball making it a completley different power

For Hot Desert the first FG is better by a landslide... it fits the BG perfectly and it looks more 3D

Super Mario Element

Story it has been years since Mario last defeated Bowser last and all has been peaceful in the mushroom world. but little did Mario and Luigi know, Bowser was at it again...

Worlds

World 1: Mushroom Kingdom- you hear news that iggy koopa has taken control of Peachs castle and you must beat him

World 2: Yoshi Isle- the yoshies need your help... this world is a tropical world so you will have both land and water levels

World 3: Koopahari Desert- A dry desert filled with quicksand and pyramids

World 4: Hollijolli Hill- A world filled with slippery Ice, snow and the rumored "Ice Flower" grows here

World 5: Pipe Maze- a tricky underground network of pipes far below the earth

World 6: Toadwood Forest- A forest tht stretches far across the map. It is said many strange creatures dwell here

World 7: Haunted Ridge- Only rumors exist about this place... be careful of undead creatures and ghosts

World 8: Koopa Valley- Bowser's choice of residence... be careful of hot lava and bowser's top baddies

Power Ups

Mushroom- makes mario bigger
Fire Flower- allows mario to shoot fire
Ice Flower- lets Mario throw breakable Ice blocks
Yoshi- ride him and he'll help you
Star- makes mario invincible
1-Up- gives mario an extra life

Oh... another Idea... besides Yoshi... If you don't want to have completely different worlds for Mario and Luigi... how about you have Luigi and Mario together as a team working to save the princess... each character would be able to use different powerups and have different abilities... so you'd have to switch characters to get past certain parts of the world... so Luigi would be able to go through certain parts of a world... while Mario others... and by using both characters.. you could work to clear a world. This could also make room for a sick co op 2-player mode in which both players could work to clear a world on split screens AT THE SAME TIME!!!

hmm... this gives me an idea... for a totally new power up system

I say Trash small Mario and Luigi. Mario and Luigi wont get small ala the original. Instead, a mushroom would replenish a chracters health by 1 point... Dahrk Daiz could use his heart system to make the power up/down more like SMB2USA... having 3 hits before death unless you get the heart power-up which would give you more health... powerups would simply vanish after being hit by an enemy unless of course you have a hybrid power. A hybrid power would be a combination of 2 or more regular power-ups such as Racoon and Fire... if you were to combine both in a level or on the map screen you would get both powers at once as well as an additional hit from an enemy before powering down. For example racoon fire mario would revert to racoon mario after one hit... and normal mario after 2.

Nintendo Coorperate Manager??? C'mon every person knows that if Nintendo actually sent someone a letter they'd revise their grammar... the fact that it's April 1 is a dead giveaway of fakeness too.
