The voice dubs in this movie are a waste of talent. Cloud, Loz, Vincent, Reno and Barret were the only ones I saw with any talent for voice acting. The rest of the bunch sounded corny as hell, at least to me.

I prefer the english subtitles version more, I have to say...

This is amazing...I never thought, honestly, I would live to see the day when Holographics began to become common place in everyday life. With this new technology, we can expect the first disks (Which are about 5 1/4" big) to be considerably under $10 USD. Of course, burning such media might cost more, but I think that 300 Gigabytes per disk is more than worthy.

Yeah, gigabytes. With read rates of 35-50 Megabytes/second.

nPhase Technologies announced that it has demonstrated the highest data density of any commercial technology by recording 515 gigabits of data per square inch on holographic disc. Holographic storage is a revolutionary departure from all existing recording methods because it takes advantage of volumetric efficiencies rather than only recording on the surface of the material. InPhase will deliver the industry’s first holographic drive and media later this year.

The first generation drive has a capacity of 300 gigabytes on a single disk with a 20 megabyte per second transfer rate. The first product will be followed by a family ranging from 800GB to 1.6 terabyte (TB) capacity. InPhase’s PolyTopic recording architecture enables more holograms to be stored in the same volume of material by overlapping not only pages, but also books. Three tracks of overlapping books were written with a track pitch of 700 microns. The InPhase Tapestry material was 1.5 millimeters thick, and the laser wavelength was 407 nanometers.

Look for teasing and poking fun at your expense in a joking around kind of manner. Fish a bit, and if he catches, you've got one. Also observe for nice gestures that go out of his way to accomplish.

I think a mandatory draft is good and bad. Mainly because of the awesome pension for serving your tour of duty, but also because being in the military sharpens your senses, gives you discipline, and the like.

But on the other hand, who should tell you what to do? No man or woman has the right to control what you do, no matter who they are. Rightly, nobody should govern someone elses actions, in any way.

It's just a matter of perspective. Are you a pacifist, or do you love to fight?

I think it is a bad idea for Iran to have nuclear weapons. If you think about it, there's no way you can guarantee the integrity of any facility in that country, and I don't think Iran (If they're even on the good side) peoperly estimates the capability Al Quaeda possesses. And I know what I've said earlier, I've thought about it a little more than I did before.

Honestly, how can you underestimate the strength of a faith that has declared religious warfare on the West, and will not stop at death to kill every last American?

But, I think I know what will happen. Iran will have it's Nuclear Programme, Al Quaeda will infiltrate and collect enough nuclear shit to make a real nice dirty bomb, and then they'll find a way to smuggle it over the border and drop it somewhere. Most likely Washington DC.

Thats what I profess will happen. But we will see.

I think there's a great windows emulator that runs on Linux. Not sure how effective it is, but I believe it's called WINE (WINdows Emulator). Great to check out, to say the least.

Well, the point of all this space is for Archival purposes, but they can be used for other such media. You could make archives of video's, documents...Basically any type of data you wish. Plus the very fast read times it can offer.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that there doesn't have to be a purpose. It's another advancement into the technological age that makes people happy inside to accomplish.

The scenario I forsee:

*Terrorists hijack a shipment of Nuclear Waste*
United Nations: Oh shit! WTF Iran?!
United States: Yeah u NOOBS LEARN TO CONTROL NUKLEAR WASTE OR WE SEND TROOPZ!
Ayatollah Khamenei: Oh yeah, our bad. For a second, I forgot we were on the same side. Oh wait, thats right. We aren't.

Yeah, essentially. Except it could technically be both a removable media and a non removable, in that sense because you could use it for both purposes.

It's got my money, at any rate. I'm getting stocks the moment someone endorses it or begins to manufacture it.

I agree, but I don't mind much about serials. It's just a string of numbers, no? We all know what they're used for, but for all we know they could be dupes, or being traced from here.

I'd like to point out that they already have provoked a conflict. IF you remember, there USED to be 2 world trade center towers in New York...

And forgive the conspiracy theory, I'm just explaining my take on events. YES, there are many other countries with Nuclear Technology, but by using Iran's waste (Which happens to be in a desert where you can hide and take almost anything) we've got nobody left to blame but good ol' Islam.

You think the Ayatollah will condemn the actions of Al-Quaeda for this? Sanction his very moral fibre for the good of (God forbid) his image? For the Infidels? Give me one good example of where he has already.

If you're all just looking from an angle where this nuclear power will be good for Iran, I agree with that. But you have to look at all the angles and rule out any possibility of something bad happening or disaster will strike.

IS the juice worth the squeeze?

EDIT: Fixed "world trade centers" to "world trade center towers"

I've never read the book myself, but from what I hear there's alot of talk about meaning in the paintings.

I took the opportunity a few days ago to examine these paintings in detail, and found out that there is absolutely nothing in the paintings to suggest anti-semitism. By all means, he may or may not have been a Freemason, but that doesn't mean he made paintings about it.

Anyhow, back on topic. This movie seems very provoked and just a way to make money. I probably will end up watching it, but when it comes to things like this, I don't get moved very easily so it will take alot of convicing for me to believe that bullshit.

Well, hello people. I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but I need someone to help teach me C++. I've never learned any C language before, and I don't know what I'm doing, really. I have the Visual Studio 2005 express Editions from Microsoft (One of their few FREE products), but I lack a proper tutorial to guide me on learning this language.

Mainly, because most C++ tutorials assume you know something about the C language.

If anyone is interested and would lend a hand, any help would be appreciated. It's just that trying to follow those tutorials and use the express Edition is hard to follow...

Sorry if I said anything to imply that, but thats what I meant. I want to learn the basics of this language, but if nobody is offering to teach me then I will try the Borland compiler, like you suggested, to learn those basics first. But all in all, I'm asking for someone who is willing to help me learn the C language, preferrably in C++.

And any attempt will go with rewards. I've offered a few things, including the following:

- Be a part of my team for working on my projects (See website)
- Become a beta tester for those projects
- Be one of the first to play the games

Feel free to heckle my over eagerness. These projects have had lots of planning, and now that I've had time to figure the shit out, they'll come to life soon enough, with or without "Being realistic". The goes I set for myself are realistic and within my capability of doing them. All I need is to learn this language...

EDIT: I could read the documents for hours, but nothing helps one learn better than experience.
