So let them continue to debate their points. So long as some new facts find their way in there, I see it remaining valid. After all, a debate's point is to prove any opinion to a question beyond a resonable doubt.

Science, like Snow Tomato said, cannot disprove a religion. It is not the people you put your faith into, it is the ideals that you devote yourself to. Christ may not have really existed, but it is taught that if you ask him for forgiveness of sin, you will go to the kingdom of heaven.

Thats what alot of statements in the bible are supposed to point out. The bible may seem like a story to some, but I think it preaches good morals through the subconscious, and telling a story makes it easier to remember how to make a good decision rather than stating a list of rules.

If I'm not mistaken, this issue was just discussed somewhere else. In Vietnam, there was a discovery of some kind of mammal living in the woods, and nobody believed the natives until scientists actually found it for themselves. Apparently it was some kind of Gorilla or somesuch.

In this case, the person you quoted may be wrong, but neither of the 2 parties have any evidence to support that claim. The criminal code is on the internet, why not look it up?

I personally smoke everyday. Never quit, but it doesn't drive me nuts when I can't get them.

Honestly, I don't care if it causes me cancer. I'd rather enjoy my life and do something rather than sit and do nothing. Plus, when you scrounge for money, just take a Zig Zag paper and roll the tobacco from your cigarette butts.

Money saving suggestion of the year, I swear...

And we complain about people being discriminatory...It's being bred in our schools, for crying out loud.

Without being taught from a young impressionable age that this is not a bad thing to be (Gay, I mean), how do we expect change in our society? Our future is learning from our examples, and if no toleration of this is being taught, then perhaps our future is a bleak future indeed, and the masochists and satanists were right.

Let's take the time to question and observe, shall we?

1) Is it not a logical explanation that, as a developing fetus, any movements might be the body strenghtening itself? Breathing, kicking, and general movement are all included. That makes the most sense to me

2) What logical, scientific purpose would being conscious still in the womb provide? It just wouldn't make sense. It would be like being trapped in a cocoon where you can't move, you can hardly breathe, and you definitely can't see.

3) Is a fetus a living being? Yes, without question. Right from conception, that mass of mytosising cells is a living organism. This is why I agree with anti-abortion, because no matter how you look at it, the cells still think to reproduce, the cells are made up of living tissue, and the cells all have a brain (The Nucleus, of course).

4) Does the zygote have a soul? It's hard to make an observation on this, because it's highly arguable. But there really is no difference between a fetus and a zygote because all they are are different stages in the reproductive cycle. There's nothing to differentiate a movement of a limb or an electonic pulse of the brain, and the mytosis of a cell dividing in two.

Feel free to make any other observations or add questions, I've forgotten the original point of this topic.

I may just be being nitpicky, but... cancerous cells are still made up of living tissue, and they still have a brain, no matter how twisted in purpose.

No doubt. Never said anything otherwise, but I think the soul is what gives is consciousness, which cancer cells are apparently not.

Though, I think seeing a cancer cell evolve into a living being would be interesting.

But the cell itself is alive. You are the cell at one point, no?

EDIT: That is the purpose of a cancer cell, just like the purpose of a mosquito is to bite living beings to surive. Land on someone, and there's a pretty good chance that will lead to it's demise.

People will not pay to keep their website "Protected". That's bullshit, and it won't be tolerated. But I'm betting it will be passed, because congress is just a bunch of old fools in chairs.

The american system is flawed in this way. A real democracy would let the people vote on this, rather that a bunch of influenced politicians.

Free Press uncovers evidence of ballot tampering in Warren County,

Ohio

April 19, 2006

After locking out all media observers and declaring a Level 10 Homeland Security Alert, the Republican-dominated Warren County, Ohio reported the vote tally in the wee hours of the morning on November 3, 2004 -- and gave George W. Bush a surprising 14,000 vote boost. Two election workers told the Free Press that the ballots had been diverted to an unauthorized warehouse where they had been possibly stuffed. That is, punched for Bush only. Maps were supplied to the Free Press showing the locations of the warehouse and the Board of Elections.

Warren County officials refused to allow the Columbus Institute for Contemporary Journalism to handle the ballots, but they did allow us to photograph a few. Richard Hayes Phillips, Ph.D., has analyzed the ballots for the Free Press and concluded that there is evidence of fraud in Warren County. The ballots as photographed with Dr. Phillips' commentary below each ballot are included here for the first time.

The Free Press predicted early on that the ballots would be found punched only for Bush in Warren County. The Moss v. Bush lawsuit pointed to Warren, Butler and Clermont Counties as the three counties that provided more than Bush's entire margin in the Buckeye State: Bush won Ohio by 118,000, and 132,000 votes were supplied in these three southwestern Republican counties.

Now, for the first time, the Free Press is releasing images of the obvious election fraud in Warren County. The Free Press will continue its ongoing investigation in Ohio despite stonewalling by Republican state officials. See the images by clicking on the link below.

For a moment, I thought the Free Press was a fake. But they seem to be genuine, and I'm hoping this is true. I'd like to see an impeachment.

Nobody should have to kill anyone, period. For no reason. Murderers and Child Rapists do what they do because they feel they have to do it. What they need is therapy.

Jail should be abolished. Money could be better spent on rehabilitating them, rather than put them in a jail where their condition only gets worse.

I think people have too much time on their hands. 9/11 was the arranged day, just like Friday is the arranged day I go to the bar with my friends.

But we don't throw our beer bottles at the Twin Towers to try and bring them down.

This album is fucking amazing...I can't believe they actually played Skin Ticket and not screwed it up...A true tribute to an awesome band, indeed.

Anyone else like/dislike this album?

Right now I'm writing Part 7 to that story, so keep an eye out on it for a bit

Bill Gates is no longer part of Microsoft (Officially).

Edit: To make this post more valid, I agree with the above post on all fronts except those mentioned.

I've been thinking about some things recently...The polar ice caps are the coldest places on earth, but what if that wasn't always true? I mean, I have heard countless theories that there used to be civilization there, and there used to be warm climates...So is it not possible that it is not just the greenhouse gas effect in play here, but the entire equator moving slowly northwards?

I mean, wouoldn't the ice caps have always been frozen?

As it stands, the equator is in the middle (Or what we consider in relation to the ice caps) of the earth. But what if the equator has been moving? What if at one time the Equator was rotating around both ice caps?

I have nothing to support this theory, so don't take it too valid...

Personally, I think the only one with talent is the one who sang Fuel. The rest of them I saw had no talent whatsoever. At least that guy had the balls to sing some rock. Even the Sinatra impersonator sucked ass. Same with the Stevie Wonder fraud.

Chris (If that's his name) would be my choice above all.

Well, what else would happen if Microsoft did this? Paper balls? Elastic wasps?

I think it's a liability China isn't prepared to control. While they may have backup systems in place, that kind of act would be agression in absolute. And then they would retailiate against the US. Not Microsoft alone, but the millions of innocent civilians here in North America.

It's a kind of control nobody should have. Do you disagree?
