The avatars are in the photo album, plus the one I'm currently using. Didn't draw that one, but I have used it since I found it.

If you want one, tell me a shape to draw out, I'll give it my best and if I can't do it you'll be the first to know.

EDIT: Ok, looks like the one I'm using ISN'T there, but there is another one there...

Perhaps this post is insensitive, but if I was a woman, why would I wait for the baby? What, do I want to mother a rape child? I would take the so called "Plan B" pill as soon as I could after I found out I was raped. If it was too late, then I would probably take care of it.

...Not sure how hypocritical that might sound, but it's my choice.

Posted on 04-11-06 11:57 PM, in Judas Link
All this talk of Judas betraying Jesus because Jesus told him to do so is a little dumb. Jesus didn't have to tell Judas anything. God created our world so that he knew how everything could turn out, and he gave us the free will to do as we please to prove that.

To be honest, I think when Eve ate the apple, God gave up on humanity, but his son believed that we should be saved. And I think God abandoned him then, because why else would he say "God, why hast thou forsaken me?"

Everything is planned out already. But that doesn't mean you can't control your destiny, like Young Guru said.. God made it that way so we could be happy. But if anyone remembers some 4th dimension theory, it could be possible that if you knew the state the universe was currently in, what everything was doing at once, then you could predict what could happen anytime after that.

And who better to know this kind of thing than a being called God?

No Jesus wasn't perfect, and the Da Vinci code might have a point. I've never read any of the books, but I've heard enough to come to my own conclusion. In many of my novels focusing on religion, it is mentioned many times that Da Vinci was part of a few Free Masonry clans in his lifetime.

It is then VERY possible for him to find out from ancient texts that Jesus was, in fact, sleeping with Mary Magdalene, and which is why she is portrayed in his Last Supper painting.

I feel sad for you guys. But it's not your faults, so don't upset over some of these bullshit claims. A nuclear attack is out of the question completely, mainly because Russia is backing up Iran. And who's backing Russia? The Chinese, of course!

That website might have been valid if it weren't so ignorant. Still, a nice browse for once. Kinda entertaining...

The only thing that disgusts me is that both Al Quaeda and the United States are both after the same thing and believe in the same goals, and they'll both fight to the bitter end to see peace reign. They both want so badly to be the hero and the winner, but they're both too fucking greedy to drop their arms and help each other build peace.

Terrorists under the Al Quaeda influence will be agressive if it is necessary to bring peace, with explosive vests, car bombs, airplanes, even shoe bombs, just to make whatever impact they can with whatever means they have availiable to them.

The United States of America will defend it's homeland with extreme force, but it will also use equal force on other countries if it is determined that it is necessary to bring peace. They will use F-18 air fighters, Tomahawk missiles, and even nuclear warheads to bring peace to the world.

We call them brutes because they lie their lives down for religion, and kill innocent blood at the same time on purpose. So how has the US military been any better in this time of war, where everywhere the soldiers go is a possible threat?

Alot of that has nothing to do with Iran, but keep in mind that Iran is also run by the Ayatollah's. Thats not blindness, though, thats tradition. To change that would be like changing our Democracy to a Theocracy because religion preaches morals and peace.

That all said, Iran does not deserve to be nuked. I think instead, Iran and the US should drop their grudges and work together to stop the fanaticism, and let Iran keep their nuclear program. It should do them good.

EDIT: 1.05/liter over here. This blows...

I met this girl once, the only love I ever had with any girlfriend. Or at least the others didn't hurt for half a year to know that I walked away from something like that.

I broke up with her because I felt that her being with me wasn't a very good thing for her. Firstly, she cheated on me, and it was my intention to help her forget about that (I didn't care after a while, because I forgave her).

But the main reason was that my life was going nowhere. I had no job, no ambition to get a job, and just did nothing with my life but go to school. And I didn't even have the ambition to go anywhere with that either. I knew that relationship would just keep going and going, and eventually we would probably have gotten married (I was ready to propose on her birthday in December, but we split in September).

So I cut it off. Not so bad at first, because I told her we should go on a break for a while, just to see what single life was like again, or go after anyone we had been secretly been keeping an eye on for a bit. I knew she was lookin at someone else besides the one she cheated on me with, so that helped with my decision.

But then things started to get out of hand. She rarely called me, she ignored me alot, and she even had the nerve to call me controlling. That to me is an insult, because I'm probably the least controlling person in the world, and you think she would have figured that out after I forgave her for cheating. I kept fairly out of contact after that, but eventually she came around to me and asked me to be her friend again.

And then I made a mistake: I ran away from her. I remember the last thing I said was "I'm not waiting around for you any longer...But I want you to know I thought what we had was special beyond words or description..."

Then I cut off contact completely. Looking back, I think I've ruined my chances with that again, but it doesn't matter anyway. I've decided not to get too close to anyone ever again, and is the main reason I might be moving out of the province, over to BC.

None of you know me, but if you did you would know that the only ones who I hold dear are the only ones who make me angry and lash out. When they piss me off, I go fucking ballistic, and they are the reason for most of my rants (Excluding this one). The end goal is to separate myself from them however possible so I don't end up hurting them, because it's gotten to the point where if I wasn't a pacifist, I would have punched out my own grandfather, even my grandmother for godsakes...It gets that bad.

Anyways, back on topic. If you love someone, cherish it. There are some of us rootin for ya who don't want to anymore...

I smoke up alot. I rarely ever buy it, and never smoke by myself. I just enjoy doing it. For me, it's not immoral. It's one of God's creations put here for us to use, and he gave us the free will to use it.

I still enjoy alcohol, but it's really just a man made substance to get you stupid without any health benefits. Weed can actually help people in pain, or people in Vyper's position.

July 11, 2006. This day is the last day Microsoft will be updating and supporting Windows 98, Windows 98SE and Windows ME.

For me, this is a time of mourning. I've had Windows 98SE since 2000, and yes it has been horrible (BSOD's, particularily), but I've used it for so long I can't stand the feel of Windows XP. It makes me feel so out of control of my PC's function, whereas I could fix practically anything I wanted to fix myself with 98.

On that day, the little computer status light will flicker for just a second, as the plug is forever pulled on Microsoft technical support, security updates and critical patches for these operating systems.

I think the whole punishment for sex thing is a little twisted.

Firstly, because sex can also be a fun recreational activity, not just for procreation. It feels good, so why wouldn't you want to experience it? Oh, one could argue that it's to make the whole procreating thing not feel so bad, but hold on, I thought we were supposed to experience pain for Eve's sin?

Avoiding having to endure Eve's punishment isn't immoral either, it's being responsible for yourself and for your partner. Some people can't afford a child, some people don't want STD's (If not all people), and some people have other reasons for using a contraceptive. That might not have been the case back in the day, but it is certainly the case nowadays.

Try turning off Windows Firewall, or adding uTorrent as an exception for it. I know Bittornado wouldn't download beans with it on, even added to the exception list, so if you have XP that might be the problem.

Just click Start -> Control Panel -> Security Center, then click on the security settings link for Windows Firewall. Then select it to be Off, or click the Exceptions tab. Then click "Add Program", and find the uTorrent .exe file (By default, I would guess it's in the C:/Program Files/uTorrent folder).

If that doesn't work...Well, I'm out of options, perhaps try switching to Shareaza or Bittornado?

Never fear, my children. As usual, Cryptome has come around to save the day. It's the only place I would ever go to read news, besides the BBC online, but that part of the site is exclusively publishing documents and such banned by the chinese government. Fairly interesting stuff, worth a look if this topic interests you.

I would like to point out that Microsoft has a MASSIVE role in the chinese censorship. They provide the servers, the software, and alot of the technology which is used by Chinese ISP's to filter out whatever the Chinese government wants.

Microsofts role in global affairs are only going from here, I think...Fuck them, anyway. Go Linux, people!

I've been looking at Microsoft these days and I'm beginning to get worried about the Trust's capability to pin them down.

Firstly, the very fact that Microsoft now has entire control over China's Internet Communications grid scares me. For some reason, some coropration in America has enough credibility to pull of this stunt, all in the name of anti-Freedom of Speech.

Should anything go wrong, all Microsoft has to do is pull a sheet over China and they're blacked out from the world. Then WE, the innocent, have to deal with the inevitable SCUD missiles and Nuclear Warheads headed our way, once the Chinese finally pull their heads out of their asses and realize that it was all America's fault.

Thanks MS. You've led us into another hole. Not that your OS monopoly was bad enough, though.

Am I the only one here who thinks that an administration like the Bush Administration should be aware of this sort of thing? Or the United Nations fo that matter? Are they all fucking blind, or are they all in on this?

Because, technically speaking, this should have WTO written all over it.

Now that I'm done my rant, I want to ask you guys to do something for me. Be informed about this, because in my point of view, this whole thing with Microsoft having it's hand in other countries shit is not good. Speak out, recommend alternatives to MS...Try to hinder them in some way so that they won't be able to keep this up.

Posted on 04-22-06 08:52 PM, in On the Evaluation of Faith Link
How did you come to accept your current faith?

I eventually came to realise that Organized Religion is a ridiculous concept about the same time I realised what all those quotes from the bible mean. I don't go to church, but I follow God's footsteps anyway. I sin, but I have my faith in the Lord to protect me from evil.

What aspects of it appeal to you?

I like to know that whatever I do in this life, Jesus will forgive me if I repent for my sins. This applies to all people on this Earth, no matter what sins you have commited. If you repent then you will be saved.

With what aspects do you disagree?

Aspects of Christianity, like Catholicism and Orthodoxy, bother me because a bunch of old men try to run everything and decide what is right to do and wrong to do, like Homosexuality issues, cellibacy, and (For Catholic priests) not being able to marry. You notice that it is the Catholics who took little boys behind the Altar, not the Orthodox, and that is a large factor that played behind the scandals.

What aspects of other faiths do you find deficient?

Every faith has it's rewards and losses, just like Christianity does. Buddhists are taught to be pacifists and philosophical, and for some it can be nice, but for others they might find it boring. It all depends on what kind of lifestyle you want to have, and what kind of lifestyle you're willing to accept.

What is the primary purpose of religion in your life?

It helps console my fears when I am afraid, my doubts when I cannot judge, and my sadness when I am depressed. All I have to do is send a mental note up above, praying for help and forgiveness, and I feel better.

How can you justify faith knowing that, by its very nature, you can never verify its truth?

You just answered your own question.

Because you cannot justify faith. It is an emotion, like love. People can follow love so passionately that it sometimes runs parallel to obsession. The same can be applied to faith, with the exception that rationalization is not needed to feel it. You just do, because it feels right to you.
