| As much as you are right, they should have PM'ed you about this, alot of people do not hold your posts in high regard. Most notably, lack of periods, but your overall posting style in general.
Guys, lay off him. Alice, that was a bit much for a pic, don't you think? |

| :/ Come on, now. Isn't is about time someone locked this? This is not a fucking flamewar. We're all guilty of breaking the rules in here, just lock it and forget it. | |||

| I understand he is not a Muslim. I even mentioned at the beginning of the thread that he is not. The only reason the topic title is this way is to discuss the ramifications of people assuming he is a Muslim because of uninformed and bullshit news stations like Fox News.
My apologies for asserting otherwise. |

| Oil is the only reliable fuel source we have. Ethanol producing in mass quantities is a joke, because the amount of grain it takes to make one gallon is ridiculously huge. To mass produce for every working vehicle to refuel daily is enormous, and the fields of corn and barley would definitely cover most of the surface of the earth (If it were put into action).
Our other option is to harvest natural resources from outer space and use them. |

Originally posted by SamuraiX It's what we call inevitability, or if you don't like big words, fate is appropriate as well. Your parents had sex, as Tarale so lovingly pointed out ( ) and you were born.
But this is not simply the extent of your fate. Nay, embrace the future as it comes to you and understand that whatever you do, thats the way it was always going to be. Not because some god said it to be so, but because YOU made the choice. You consciously made the choice. You would wonder for a million years about any particular choice. Like, "what would be different if I did such and such instead of so and so?". The important thing to remember is that we do things for a reason, because of who we are. Your physical condition does not relate to your reason for being alive. The physical aspect of you is an avatar that represents you. The mind contains the consciousness that drives the shell to do it's bidding. If you look at it one way, the body will reflect the condition of the mind many times over. A built man will have a strong, disciplined mind, where the thin man will have a higher intellect, simply because of what he does. Perhaps he does not believe in exerting lots of physical effort. Just remember that you can always condition yourself to be stronger. But to be physically strong, you must be mentally strong. If you wish, you could start a mental disciplinary exercise for yourself. For example, you could say to yourself "Hey, I'm going to walk a little farther today" or "Hey, these jugs of water look heavy, I'll do a few curls with them and go back to what I was doing". As in the chaos theory, such small things have a profound effect on everything else. Try what I mentioned for a while, and if it doesn't boost your self esteem or actual physique, then I owe you a million internet dollars (I'm stinking rich on the internet ) |

| Music makes life awesome for me. I always got something playing in my head, most commonly really awesome tracks or bands that just strike as appealing at the time.
Other than that, booze has played a large factor in my self esteem. I dunno how people can be sad drunk. Every time I get smashed, it's like I just took a dozen E pills (Which I cannot take even one due to a heart condition) and I'm just flying. I'm really animated and happy when I drunk. It's like being in a constant state of nirvana while the buzz lasts. However, the hangover sucks when you drink too much. This is denominated by your body telling you "Poison me, will you? I will eject this vile poison!" and you puke. |

| My old friend's mom got it. It was expensive, but she had to hydrate her eyes several times a day, if I remember correctly.
I would imagine staying home and relaxing during this period would be best. Unless you are unable to take a leave. |

| SamuraiX: If you are looking for a purpose in life, you are looking in the wrong place. Nobody can tell you what it is, you must search for that yourself.
If I told you your purpose was to become a biochemist who did great things, would that make you automatically become a biochemist and do great things? Nay, but the answer may be closer than you can imagine. It is simply a matter of the will to find it. Search within yourself and find what makes you happy. We cannot break it down for you, because we do not truly know you; only you do. We can only support you in whatever path you choose. |

| Koryo: If you had read the thread, you would understand the title was a joke. FOX news did, in fact, make it seem like senator Obama was a Muslim (God forbid he went to school in a Muslim school, which was not exclusively Muslim but welcomed Christians and Jews too).
Unfortunately, I have to pay to get FOX news, so I don't. I have to go by John Stewart. Originally posted by The Daily Show |

| The only solution is to abolish the iTunes Music Store. Why in blue hell should people be making MONEY off downloading legally when downloading illegally is what is causing them to lose money?
Yes, the idea of DRM kits in music downloaded from these online stores is ok, but it's like everyone just went on a spree of download-o-mania. These big companies are thinking "Hey, maybe kids just don't want to go buy these albums on CD, they want them on their PC. It's just the principle of the thing, how could our bread and butter idea's which fueled us with millions of dollars for so long have been so stupid?" Gah...There's really no way to say DRM is right and wrong. It protects the companies, yet it is also bullshit in the sense that it hides information like a trojan. Nobody wants to pay for music anymore. How could they be so irresponsible for their actions... |

| There is no purpose to this thread. He does not even try to fix himself, despite numerous suggestions on HOW to fix himself, if there is even anything wrong to begin with.
SamuraiX: At least try what I have suggested. Nobody is going to drop down from heaven and just make everything better. You have to do it yourself. That is one of the meanings of life, to make yourself better and overcome. Anything. The rest will come in time. |

| iTunes Music Store makes it's money by selling people iPod specific format tunes for download. People download music for free. Why would they promote this practice when they're trying to abolish it? | |||

Originally posted by Tarale According to that article, it does and will not license the DRM software to anyone else. And I realize it's legal from iTunes. I'm just saying, it promotes a bad practice, the very one they are against by providing a legal music download source. It's a great business opportunity, but doesn't Apple make enough money? |
