You're not alone. It seems that YouTube has had numerous 9/11 conspiracy video's popping up, and it's not without reason. There are numerous things that are being left unexplained because it was a national tradgedy, and the very thought of it being set up by the president is TREASON.

But that aside, we've already seen how much the President loves the Iraqi's with the White Phosphorous thing. I personally prefer mine rare, but well done is good enough for anyone these days.

You misunderstand me. I meant that if the US and Al Quaeda actually took the time to sit down and talk and sort out their differences, Jihadists lose their reason to fight the Americans and focus their energy on other things.

PROBLEM SOLVED. If only George Bush wasn't such a proud man.

Well thats just the thing. WE'RE the fanatics to them, fighting for this democracy thing which is FOREIGN TO THEM. And they've stated again and again, they'll give us chances to pull out, and we didn't even take the time to consider that they MIGHT just wanna talk, no prejudice involved.

Nothing is too late. I'm more than sure Bin Laden and his followers will co-operate if the president himself went into the depths of the enemy territory to confront him diplomatically.

Of course, there will be insults and possibly violence, but in the end it's the message that strikes peoples hearts.

I ask you this: If the president was killed in cold blood begging for forgiveness by the feet of Bin Laden in true sincerity, how many followers would Bin Laden have after 1 year?

2,897, to be exact

And it's not the information that you have that counts, it is the message you are trying to portray with the things that you know.

When you get to about the point that if you drink anymore you will probably puke, the amount of control you have over such things like fingers and co-ordination is minimal.

It's quite enticing. But I myself try to correct my typo's, and others just think it is funny to see such a fucked up language on their monitor

Man, 0-60 in 2.5? 1000 BHP? 16 cylinders? 7 fucking gears? I would have to say this is one awesome car, my friends. Not only does it look stylish (Which is a matter of opinion), it's got the speed to boot. The only downside is the price tag, because if you have the money to buy such a beast, who gives a fuck about MPG?

Honestly, I was about to make this same topic when I got home today

I agree though, he's kinda become sort of a hero for myself. A political figure like himself ranting on National Television about the president...

Oh yeah, and why do I get the feeling Condoleeza Rice is full of shit?

Condoleeza: There was no comprehensive strategy.
Reporter: So he's a liar?
Condoleeza: No, but THERE WAS ALOT OF PASSION DAMMIT!

http://cryptome.org/ms-v-does.htm

Originally posted by For The Lazy Bastards
Microsoft has reportedly sued numerous Doe defendants for producing and distributing FairUse4WM a software program that counters Microsoft Digital Rights Management System used to safeguard content downloaded through Microsoft s Windows Media programs. This follows at least one software patch that was released to counter FairUse4WM. The patch worked briefly, but now an updated FairUse4WM is available that technologically counters Microsoft's patch.

To its credit, Microsoft seems to understand one thing that some of its predecessors have struggled with: An anti-DRM tool that is being freely circulated on the Internet is not going to be stopped through a simple lawsuit. At the end of the day, Microsoft will need to continually monitor and update its DRM technology understanding that each successive patch will eventually be countered by a newly updated tool.

The real problem that Microsoft faces is that the recording and movie industries are demanding strict DRM protections before agreeing to release their movies and songs on the Internet. Hollywood demands these technological protections so that they can maintain an artificially high price for reproductions of their content.

The problem that consumers face is that DRM technologies are simply computer programs. They cannot differentiate between lawful copying and unlawful copying. So, all DRM technologies, to some extent, will hamper the fair use rights of consumers. Until that issue is addressed, anti-DRM technologies will always have widespread appeal.

Put another way, few people support piracy, but many support lawful fair use rights. Producers of Anti-DRM technologies say that their tools are intended to support fair use rights they argue that any misuse by content pirates is just an unintended consequence. The argument is not far from that of DRM producers: That the DRM products are intended to secure the legitimate rights of copyrightholders they argue that the effective removal of consumers fair use rights is simply an unintended consequence.

Until these unintended consequences are addressed, DRM producers and their stealth counterparts will perpetually face off in a modern-day game of cat and mouse.

In all honesty this whole DRM shit has to fucking stop. There's too much controversy and too much money being being wasted which could be used a little more wisely, rather than being wasted on lawsuits and creating DRM applications.

I cannot even BEGIN to imagine the money Microsoft is putting in to continuously update their Windows Media Player application all the time...Is it not ridiculous to even care, if it's not their concern? True, these things are being downloaded through WMP, but the copyright is ultimately not Microsofts.

EDIT: Fixed the link.

Man, if there was ever a science related game to play, it has to be The Incredible Machine.

Personally I liked the classic one, as in the very first version for DOS, but the new ones are cool too. I'm not too keen on the new graphics.

I really think that the idea of "Fair Use" has gone down the toilet as far as the **IA are concerned.

Which is why having such a stupid organization is a bad idea in the first place. They benefit by causing others a hassle, and they're fucking loaded.

It's a little overkill, but I suppose everyone might have been shocked at the first gunshot, then just fired at him.

That would smell like bullshit to me. I think they wanted revenge and unloaded on him like they were pissing on a tree. Which is fine, I suppose...Just not what I would have done. It only takes a few bullets to kill someone, and only one if placed correctly (Heart, head, spine, stomach, etc...)

Isn't it a W3C standard to have img alt="xxxxxxxx"?

In any case, it's just a simple oversight. They could have just emailed the webmaster, which would have been easier on both the petitioner and defendant's wallets, lawyers and such. The claim that they need an alternate method of making transactions is viable only in the sense that they would have to force the website owners to make get a separate line to make transactions with.

Money nabbing crooks.
