| Isn't AOL one of the Internet companies that lobbied to congress to make web servers pay to be seen on their networks? Could be a lashback at the people who complained.
"Oh, so we have enough money in our pockets, eh? 'Invasion of a neutral object', eh? Well, lets see how you deal with your info on the internet. PAYBACK IS A BITCH!" |

| I think it would just go by buying SkypeCredits or whatever, with your credit card, once the end of the year comes around. A contract thing (like signing a plan on a regular cell phone) would be more logical, but pay as you go is really the way... | |||

Thankfully, this doesn't affect Hotmail or any of their other core services (Probably like news and such), but because their advertising revenue has gone down (AKA the money they make by advertising other people's services), they need to keep that steady line of profit in a certain margin. Do what you need to keep the business going, but hopefully this doesn't get too crazy. Alot of people I know use things like MSN Explorer, Usergroups, and other things availiable through MSN. |

| Chop up the chicken and lettuce. Put in a bowl with the stuffing. Boil the pasta. Strain and add to mixture. Add mayonnaise, mix well, and serve.
I'd eat it. |

| You know what bothers me? Is that you were allowed to have gel and aerosol on an airplane before, so why all of a sudden the fear? How many other people tried carrying Nitroglycerin (Or any other unstable liquid based explosive) in their carryons? Whats stopping someone from stuffing plastic explosives in their childrens Play-Do containers?
I mean, what is the likelyhood someone will go out of their way to bring some nitro on a plane again, regardless of how precise it isto compose, and try to not set off security. SHOOT ME UP WITH FEAR, BABY! (edited by Rom Manic on 08-14-06 03:46 PM) |

| There are many reasons for this failing soon.
1) So you can make 12 with many different formulas. You can also make chocolate chip cookies with different formula's, but it's still a fucking chocolate chip cookie. 2) Digital Data is not real. Acoustic vibrations (In the case of music sharing) is real. If what you hear is exactly the same as what someone has copyrighted, it's still the same thing. In the case of video sharing, you still see and hear the movie, and just because it's different on your PC doesn't make it a different file. 3) IT'S STILL PIRACY.. Can I make it any simpler? The RIAA, MPAA, and such companies will find other ways, of course (They pay analysts to do this for them), to find a way to beat the system. I'm for the innovation, but I'm in cockblock mode right now, so bear with me. |

| I personally believe in a high minimum wage. To put it quite simply, the cost of living shot up on steroids a while back, making houses and affordable living a big burden to overcome. Not only that, how the fuck are these people supposed to commute with the intense gas prices?
For the overall benefit of society, I believe a higher minimum wage will establish a better society, and give people (By this I mean impoverished people) more incentive to work, and be productive for the economy. |

Originally posted by Fire Alexa You're right, if people thought about it public transportation is a good idea for inner city travels. I'm talking about the people who make the one hour commute to another city, like from a small town or villiage to a metropolis. My dad did that for 15 years working at a plane manufacturing plant called Mcdonell Douglas, back and forth from Toronto to Barrie every day, so we could get by. Now, he had a big wage (More than 30 dollars an hour $CDN), but when you relate that people that make minimum wage, and add the newer costs of gas...It's just too much, don't you think? Originally posted by Jomb Well, look at Canada. We don't have to pay for our healthcare system by buying insurance policies, we pay for it through our taxes. And yes, it's still in the end like paying for having a healthcare policy, but the point is we don't have to worry about never having it or not paying for it because it's directly subtracted from our income. It's like having a guaranteed policy on your well being, for life, guaranteed (Unless you leave the country, then you buy foreign medical insurance). What makes it awesome is that even though some people don't have a wage, they are still entitled, as canadian citizens, to have free access to hospitals in their times of need if they have a health card, which is free anyway. So how does that relate to the Minimum Wage debate at hand? Not much really, except people will be able to afford health insurance, even at a basic level. The only problem is that insurance companies start taking statistics into account on their pricing, and that can cause a problem for kids my age. Because most kids 19-25 drive their car faster and crazier, I have to pay $3000 CDN to be the principal driver, because I MIGHT fall into that category of driver. And so, when more people are able to afford this insurance, how will that affect the pricing? Like some genious said, every action has a reaction. |

| I couldn't joine Myspace...It gave me an error, and it still gives me an error. So I say to fuck with it. It's great, no doubt, but I can't join so whatever happens there only bothers me this much.
However, in your case Doc, I'd say let her be. People can really suck sometimes, but I think you should try to find someone in your area for some lovin. |
