When I open the 8X8 Tile Editor in LM and I try to change something, and then press F9... I get the message: Do you want to save the current level GFX to file,
so it can be insert to the rom later?
Don't do this when you haven't extracted the Graphics Yet.

So I've extracted the GFX and pressed F9 again, I pressed on Yes, but Nothing changes in the 8X* Tile Editor...

Can anyone please help... I know that this is a noobish question, but I really don't know what to do now, and the help file in LM doesn't help me with this... that or I must get new eyes!

Can't you change the Yellow in the levels, with this I point at the world map pic... can't that yellow be grey? and the 'Secret Exit' levels Black, or something like that?

creaothceann: if you mean decompiling the ROM ASM and recompiling, well I don't think anyone here is close to do that (unless I'm mistaken) and I don't see how it can solve my problem.

I don't see anything wrong with storing some editor data in the ROM. It has to be extended/modified anyway, and there is plenty of space for that. And this doesn't prevent another editor from opening the ROM.

But I'll start by making a little program that people can test and give me feedback on the speed.

That Spritesheet is wonderfull... but what is the use of it, I mean can you edit it and then somehow 'Import' it to your rom, cause you know... after all I am a noob!

It may sound a bit Noobis, and it actually is noobish too, but I have a question

I want to make Costum Graphics for a sprite, I have got them in BMP format, but how can I enter them into the Game as the Sprite I wanted to replace?

I can't see a 4bpp, Just only 'Snes3bpp' & 'Snes'.
I thought that 'Snes' might be the 4bpp, but it wasn't
