Well thinking the PS3 will replace the PC is insane, I agree... I don't think Microsoft has too much of a point either, look at how Nintendo's remakes and the recent compiliations of old games (Sonic Mega Collection, Midway Arcade Classics, etc.) have sold...

Alright, so recently I've decided to try to emulate some of the PSX games that were left in our house when we moved in (no PSX was left, you see). My computer runs Windows 2000 Professional, and isn't really top-of-the-line to any extent.. are there any emulators that would run at a decent speed on my PC?

I have to say, that's pretty impressive... though shouldn't Yoshi's House (or the sprite that looks like it, anyway) have some smoke? (And that's pretty much the only complaint I have)

I don't support proportional representation. I think that it wouldn't make any serious difference, and would likely cause problems... I mean, people in California would have to vote for fifty-three representatives...

I also don't think that it would affect the two-party system to any great degree. Maybe you would have one or two Green congressmen from states like Vermont, but in general the Republicans and Democrats would likely still dominate. I believe even in nations with Proportional Representation, you often see two dominating parties even if outside parties have some more say. With the Republican/Democrat system so ingrained into Americans heads, it would likely survive.
