It looks alright. The floors in the first screenshot could use more detail, the second screen looks pretty good, I like the diamond design.

As for the MMX, I don't know... It doesn't seem to fit with the SMW blocks, it looks like the SMW blocks are in a plane behind the MMX blocks. The rain is alright, but as has been said there needs to be more clouds. Nice work having the blocks block the rain, though. (restricted) | (restricted) |

It'd be neat if you kept the shape and style of the SMB1 GFX, but with some 16-bit improvements... kind of an "in-between".

I recently tried it, and it's good so far. Very creative idea, I also like the "Metroidvania"... (And recent Castlevania games have become somewhat Metroidish, so why not go the other way...) |

I have to disagree about the unity of Yugoslavia being better... I mean, certainly great violence has occured in the collapse, but I think the whole formation of Yugoslavia was a bad idea in the first place. Of course, with Serbia winning WW1, they were bound to get something... As for modern day, not much reason to force prosperous Slovenia to be tied to poorer states like Macedonia, is there?

And why would Nintendo raise prices if it's competitors weren't? Especially since one of the planned Wii selling points seems to be the fact that it's cheaper than PS3 and X-Box 360....

I've used the five-minute demo of his emulator, but if I recall you can't control games with the keyboard, which was a big problem for me. |
