Well, why don't we just abolish government then?

The government should exist for the benefit of all it's citizens, not just the upper class that can afford to pay for everything. If someone dying of cancer is poor, should we toss them onto the street when they can't pay the bill? If a poor family wants to have their son go to college and move up in life, should we deny them a student loan in the name of "Trimming the government"?

Groups within Israel and the Jordanian Government are different things, however... There are groups within the USA that have advocated the destruction of Mecca, but that doesn't mean the US has any plans to destroy the city. (because blowing up a major city in one of our closer allies is just stupid policy, even ignoring the religous aspect)

I don't see why newspapers in Denmark, a country so not-Muslim that it has a cross on it's flag, should be required to care about the Islamic taboo against images of Mohammed. For that's what many of the protests I've read are about- not that some of the caricatures are offensive (certainly they weren't all that bad), but that Mohammed is portrayed at all.
To use a Christian example, if I recall some controversial artist had made a picture of a Crucifix submerged in urine, certainly an offensive image to many Christians, and there were protests. However, did the protests reach the level of the ones over the Jyllands-Posten cartoons? Definately not.

I'm not saying that- I'm saying it's the wrong justification. An image of Mohammed with a bomb for a turban is hateful, and should be condemned (though perhaps not to the point that it's been brought). But expecting non-Muslim nations to follow rules set by that religion is simply not right...

Might as well show this- a small attempt at drawing new level graphics in SMW... If I was actually going to make a hack I'd probably redo alot of them, or at least change the pallete so I could use more colors.
