Looks like V and possibly VI could both come out next year. Even though the GBA's slowly fading away, people can just pick them up for the DS.

I'd be interested in getting V and VI... Shame I have little money.

Though FF3 is coming out for DS? Hm, I wonder if Square-Enix has something larger planned for that remake...

We've had username color changes before. Male users were green and female red. I don't see why it'd be a problem...

As for Christmassy names, I was thinking of changing my name, but Imajin doesn't lend itself to a creative Christmasization easily.

Personally, I'm of the type that, while believing some politcally correct terms go too far, I also don't think it's right to go around using racial slurs and the like, and some terms should be thrown out.

On the subject of the Holiday Tree, it just doesn't make sense to me. It's called a Christmas Tree and is identified with Christmas, replacing "Christmas" with "Holiday" would be like calling a Birthday Cake a Holiday Cake because it's not everyone's birthday. I mean, we don't call a Menorah a "Holiday Candel-holder" or anything like that, but some cities have Menorah displays.

Though, isn't the Religious Celebration officially termed "The Nativity of the Lord" rather than "Christmas", Christmas being a less formal name?

I personally have no trust in the current administration to use the powers only in emergencies, and think that the Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act should, at the very least, have restrictions.

It should also get a name change... I mean, not only is the "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act" an incredibly long name, the acronym has that sneaking undertones that sounds like disapproving of it is being unpatriotic to your country.

I have a small request- I'd like to hack SMB2 to remove the "Shrinking Mario" effect. However, I don't know the first thing about doing this, and if I did, I forgot. I'd still like Mario to have the health bar, though.

Hm, you know, the idea someone mentioned about having a Goonies-2 like game sounds cool... perhaps you could combine it with traditional Mario and go the Kid Icarus route, with maze-like Castles and normal levels?

The IPS file's content determines it's illegality. Ripped Graphics, for example, are technically illegal- but then again, no one goes after say, Sprite Sheets either. Also, oftentimes ASM hacks and some editors require moving of data within the ROM- this moved data will most likely show up in the IPS and make the IPS illegal based on that snippet of data.

I'd probably end up in an RPG as the person who tells you to go on some sidequest, and after beating some hard boss simply tells you "THANK YOU", perhaps giving you some pittiance of Gold that is less that the Gold you got after defeating the boss.

SML2 is an awesome game, one of the last traditional 2D Mario games they've made (not counting remakes).... I haven't played the other two in awhile, though SML1 is a pretty fun little game, and I remember liking SML3...

If the file name ends in .SMD, it's a good idea to find a convertor that will change it to a .BIN format ROM- the only tile editor that edits SMD files is Tile Molestor as far as I know.

Also, Sonic 3K, if I recall, is not supported by the usual Sonic gaphics editor, Sonik Sprite, so you'll have to edit it based on the 8x8 tiles, which are most likely not organized into the shape of Sonic, so it will take some work.

The posts database is rather small because it doesn't include layouts- those are grabbed from a separate database so space isn't wasted.
