Isn't that the point- than you do badly on exams and you get held back, thus shelling out more money to the school... :p

Translhextion is what I use (well, I haven't hacked in awhile so "used" might be the right word), but only because I'm too lazy and set in my ways- I wouldn't reccomend it.

We tried taking away the ACS once- All that happened is alot of people missed it so we brought it back, I don't know if it really affected the spam count much.

And the ranks are a good point- I agree that they might be an incentive to spam (If I recall, on my early days I used to strive to get +1 rank per day) but I like them . It would be too bad if we had to get rid of them just because a few people go too far (maybe get rid of the &rank& so people can't brag about their rank in their layout? Though that seems too little and too much at the same time )

Perhaps 8 days is a bump, but it's on the first page.

Now, let's say that somehow the electors go insane and I end up President. And September 11 happens- perhaps it was caused by screwups in the Bush Administration that would never have happened in the Imajin Administration, but we'll ignore that- once we have the information on the hijackers, there are two countries that end up on my "hit list"- Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. Afghanistan probably ends up going like Afghanistan, though I would go quicker and focus on catching Bin Laden. Saudi Arabia is different, but I'd have to force them to cease supporting radical Wahhabism in oher countries. I'd like to get them to reform, but that might take fulscale war, which would, being a war, necessitate occupation of the major Saudi cities- including Mecca and Medina. American troops in the Holy Cities of Islam might cause some problems...
On the home front, I would push for healthcare reform. I rather like the "individual mandate" plan being pushed for in our world by Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA), where everyone is required to buy healthcare, and a cheap plan is provided for those who can't afford to buy healthcare from private companies but make enough money that they don't qualify for free healthcare.

Do it by hand- but you'll have to fit the sprites into the pattern set by the game, and piece together the sprites (I think YY-CHR comes with a file to help SMB1, I'm not sure) You could change the tile arrangement, I suppose, but that might be a bit advanced.
Megaman most likely wouldn't work without redrawing Megaman to fit in the tiles- you couldn't just copy the graphics.

Well, right now we can complain all we want, but he has the program and we don't, so it's not like we can do anything about it

I agree I don't like the idea of hiding programs, but if you want to prevent crap music hacks from people, perhaps have some simple way to find it that anyone smart would find out (like put it in the readme), but the stupider types would not.

It only hurts him while he's on the same screen as it, and it dosen't affect yoshi

Hm, by not affecting Yoshi, do you mean that you can go in riding Yoshi and you're fine? That could be a way to create a different type of Yoshi-only area.

It certainly sounds like a great utility, and hopefully we'll see more GBA tools to come (As far as I know, there's not much outside the Pokemon games, but I've been out of the loop for awhile)..

Any boss battle in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door... they're pretty good. I also like the "Koopa's Road" track from Super Mario 64.

I actually considered getting this, as the only version of this game I have is Pokemon Puzzle League (GBC)... But it doesn't sound like it's really worth it.
