My ACS performance this month is sad, but at least I have an excuse.

The DSUF had a happy hour yesterday. We reached 2362 posts in one day and successfully managed to piss off stag019 by breaking his board's record.

I made 100 posts in, like half an hour. It was awesome!

I knew Legoman wasn't capable of handling graphics himself. _¬

Stealing hacks is bad. Really bad. Even more so when you base it off an incomplete demo.

And the level design looks almost IDENTICAL to the SML demo. This looks like he spent all of six hours editing the existing levels.

In short, this hack fails. Very badly.

Even if you do lock a hack in LM, it only takes ten seconds more to open thanks to RLM.

Unless the hack uses HDMA, in which case you're royally screwed, as all you'll get is garbage (except on levels that are completely HDMA-free)

Submit a decent non-GFX hack and come up with some valid points, and then we'll talk. I can't help but think you're biased against Peter.

Yes, peter_ac's hacks are full of SMAS rips. But they also have decent level design, which is sadly not present in most n00b hacks (including Legoman's). And while he may be a little arrogant at times, yes, his criticism is usually good, unless the hack's really retarded.

And it's not that we criticize the n00bs because of not changing the graphics, we criticize them because they leave blatantly obvious glitches (graphical or not) and have crappy level design. I'm sorry, but I'll take a SMB3/Megaman/Actraiser flavored level with neat design over a crappy level made out of cement blocks any day of the week.

What's funny is that at first, it didn't hurt so bad, but then my mother put rubbing alcohol on my wounds and the scream could be heard miles away

I usually dream of living in some kind of futuristic flying war-torn citadel with mechs and satellite weapons and the like.

Sometimes I do not dream at all, and when I do, it depends on my mood. If I'm feeling shitty, I dream of Castlevania-like monster-infected structures hovering in a freaky dimension. If I'm feeling happy, I dream of castles in the sky and me flying around with some buddies. If I'm feeling horny, well, you get the idea.
