| I'm the other person who voted yes. I voted yes because when 2 people are in love enough to get married that is always a good thing. As far as getting married young ruining someone's life, i dont believe that is HAS to be the case. In many places in the world, and in our past, people got married younger. It was'nt the end of the world. Our ancestors were not walking timebombs or moping around about it. In fact, they got alot done. I've always felt that maybe i'd get alot more done in my life if i did'nt have to waste so much energy dating and looking for a wife, or worrying about not finding one. I'm not saying that everyone should go get hitched right away when young, but that people should have the fundamental right to live their life however the hell they want to, so long as no one is being harmed (and not in some pansy ass, over-analyzed, psychological way). The government should not be dictating to people who and when they can marry, especially adult people. | |||

| If it was all about defying international will and being a menace to world security we'd have been in North Korea when they threatened nuclear war. If it was all about wanting to stand up for human rights and democracy we'd be backing Taiwan against China and helping to free the much oppressed country of Tibet from China. We dont do these things because US government dont give a rats ass about democracy in the world, in fact they have historically set up dictatorships in foreign countries. Spreading democracy is just a political wording of what amounts to an invasion, used to get the people behind a war that is primarily about oil. Because just maybe the people would actually have not wanted to go to war just for $$$. | |||

| A long long time ago, i purchased a cassette tape (yes, it was that long ago) called "Sailing the Seas of cheese". I liked it fine, even though i was primarily into heavy metal at that time. For whatever reason i never bought anymore Primus albums, even though i do like the one i have. Why they would have their own category though is kinda odd to me, they are'nt THAT different. I can think of at least a dozen other bands that are more "eccentric" than Primus. I'm into avant-garde music. | |||

Me personally, i love it when a girl approaches me. I'm a very shy person, it could literally take me months to build up to talking to a girl the first time. After that first time it is much easier, so if she already broke the ice life is all around better  |

| Kutske - That's true, but it does'nt change the fact that they got married younger and were generally fine I've known people frim India and in that region of the world where people have arranged marriages. They surprisingly have a higher success rate than ours do. Most of them even come to love who they were married to. Not that i'm advocating that. Just an interesting bit of information. I do believe that if there are 2 mature people and they want to get married then no one has a right to stop them, only to try to persuade them not to. People should take it more seriously though, especially if children are involved. |

| I dont consider myself to be a racist person, I dont belong to any hate groups or anything like that, but sometimes i can see how people can become racist. When i was younger i was in a lot of trouble, and i had to live in a lot of terrible places. In some of these places you'd find black gangs, and at least 85% of the black people there were involved. They'd primarily target young, weak, or isolated non-black people, who they would beat the shit out of, take everything they owned and sometimes even rape them. It does'nt take long in such an environment to get real suspicious of blacks, even to dislike them, many whites in these places join up with a white power group as a simple survival technique. So i can understand how, if this was a persons only exposure to blacks, that they could come to be racist. Luckily for me i met some black people later in life who were really nice and not like that at all, so i dont think that way. | |||

| I dont know nothing about white power groups in predominantly white neighborhoods, i never had contact with any of them. But i know from bitter experience that white power is alive and well within the justice system, and under those circumstances it just about has to be, because when it comes down to life or death you cant pretend to be blind to the facts that those black guys in those gangs are out to get you and the aryan nation really can protect you from them. At one time i thought, like most of you do, that a white power group is a sick thing and completely despicable, but i'll be damned if when i was getting my nose broke by a gang of crips or whatever the hell they want to call themselves, it was'nt some dudes from the aryan nation who stepped up and helped me. Despite all that i dont really agree with them on most issues, but i dont really despise them like i used to either. I can see where they're coming from now. | |||

| I saw The Grudge in a theater. I thought it might be scary, the previews looked cool. The movie turned out to be boring and made absolutely no sense. Not scary at all.
The worst movie i can remember watching was on TV a couple years ago. It was called Pinata (probably spelled wrong) Island. The acting sucked. But that was the least of its problems. It was supposed to be a monster movie, but when the monster made its appearance finally it was the most pathetic thing i've ever seen. It looked like someone had literally cut and pasted a little demon out of a Sega Genesis game and transposed it over the film. You could see the pixels and everything. |

| Sexy? I'm not joking in the least when i tell you i will instantly dump any girl i was dating the moment i learn she is a smoker, and can feel nothing but turned off when i see a girl smoke. As soon as that shit gets in my nose i just want to go hurl somewhere. I never want to live in a house where everything is covered in tar residue and every breath is a new adventure in the world of cancer and repulsiveness. I also dont like stupid girls, and in my opinion you'd have to be kinda stupid (or at least ignorant) to intentionally hook yourself on something which has dozens of negative qualities and not a single redeeming one. | Jin - Lets hope you never have to find out how they can offer protection. I come from a very different background than you, i've literally been to hell and back. Let me tell you something about hell, it is a very racist place. If you are a white man, and you go to hell, you will now be in the minority. gangs are in the majority, mostly black gangs. If you are a white man on your own it is a simple fact that you will get approached by a gang, usually a black one. You may find yourself with a few really bad choices to make, such as giving them everything you have for the rest of your time there and obeying everything they tell you to do, becoming some gang-members "wife", getting the shit kicked out of you on a regular basis, being raped, possibly killed, or you can hang out with the aryan nation. The gangs will now leave you the hell alone, because they know it just is'nt worth it to have to deal with a bunch of big muscular white dudes willing to stab them, which is what would happen if they messed with you and the aryan nation was involved.
I myself am not racist, i have some friends who are black right now. I do not agree with the aryan nation on almost anything. They are still human beings though. And when you are in hell, sometimes you have to choose the lesser of 2 evils as a means of survival. Obviously the rules are different here in regular society. I'm not advocating you join the aryan nation, all i'm saying is there is a forgotton world inside the justice system where they really have protected many a white guy from some terrible shit, its these conditions that help perpetuate the whole thing, and you probably would'nt understand until you were getting your ass kicked by a bunch of big black gang-bangers who singled you out because you are white and the only people who are willing to stand up to it are the aryan nation. |

I'm sure i came off harsh in my last post, but it is how i feel. The question was'nt "would you be friends with someone who smoked?", because i would as long as they dont do it in my home (thats an act of war), and they have to accept the fact that i will be physically removing myself from their company whenever they light up, for the duration of the smoke hanging in the air. But when it comes to a girlfriend, someone i'll be in close physical contact with, i will not tolerate it at all. What if i got her pregnant and her smoking hurt our baby? The stuff can be extremely addicting, i've actually known people who would not quit ever after getting smokers lung and being told to quite by doctors, and mothers who just could'nt quite ever when pregnant. There is very little more repulsive to me than an attractive girl with a cigarrette, so its my right and my choice to have no romantic ties with a smoker. I'm far less repulsed by pot. I dont do it, but the odor of it is not repulsive and lingering like a cigarette. |

| drjay, yes i was talking about prison, and not some little minimum security one either. I've never seen Oz so i cant say anything about it, but i've had to live there before and you would'nt believe the absolutely sickening shit that goes on in there and people get away with in there everyday. I could tell you some things from 1st hand experience which you probably would'nt believe.
There are some white gangs, but they are few and far between (ever counting the aryan nation as a gang, which the system does). You dont want to know what happens to those wanna be gansta "wiggers" when they get sent up the river. |

| Ideally groups that beat the shit out of anyone (minorities or not) would be targeted by the system. Unfortunately, within the system, if it is brought to their attention they basically laugh at you and tell you to leave them the fuck alone and deal with it yourself, unless you get a new guard or someone who is actually trying to do their job. Then they pull out their little handbook and follow what it says to the letter. Which entails both the victim and the perpetrators being but in the hole and punished. Then when the victim gets out they are now a snitch and will wish they had'nt done that. | |||

Thayer - WTF? Snow Tomato - There is no one coming after me now, but at one time there was, and it was black gangs. I was beat up pretty severely for refusing to give them money or become one of their "bitches". I probably would have been raped eventually except the aryan nation got involved and put a stop to it. How it makes me racist that i accepted help when i desperately needed it from the only people around that would help is beyond me. I've stated repeatedly that i'm not in the aryan nation, i never agreed with what they stood for, but found their company preferable to being made into some gang-banger's property. I no longer know any of those guys, but i was friends with some of them when i was in prison. The only reason i brought them up in the first place was to try to explain why someone might belong to such an organization, other than the argument that they are some how genetically "the scum of the earth", it often-times has more to do with environment. If racism is a problem people are serious about changing then environments such as this need to be changed. Likewise with black gangs, they are a serious problem which needs to be addressed, and its not as simple as "those evil black men", i think that one probably has to do with a severe poverty environment in the cities. We have become way too racially sensitive when i say i was beat up by a bunch of black men who targeted me because i'm white, and everyone suddenly assumes i'm racist. I was just stating a fact, that is what happened, like it or not. I did'nt say all black people are like that, anymore than all white people are racist, but there are definately racists in any race. I admit i am biased against gang-members, having been assaulted by them before, but that bias does not extend to good black people who are not involved in gangs. You seem to not understand what its like in a high level prison, which is what i'm talking about, and thats understandable because you've never been there. I would'nt understand what i'm talking about right now either if i read this 10 years ago. Obviously we dont live in a feudal system, and who would want to? Yes this is America, which is why its even more shocking that this kind of shit is allowed to go on, even in our prison system, but i've been there and i know for a fact that it goes on every day in there and everyone who could do anything about it turns a blind eye, and everyone else is unaware of it, or doesn't care. |

| Americans, just imagine if there was a WW3, and American Indians were being persecuted in it. After the war, the world decided that the American Indians deserved to have their land back, so they took your home and gave it to an American Indian family and made you go live somewhere on the worst possible land that no one else wanted. Would that piss you off, or would you just go along with losing everything you own over events that happened long before you were born? I imagine thats about how Palestinians must feel. I'd be extremely pissed off if i were in their shoes to. But now Israel has been there a long time, so no one can really win in that situation. It sucks. |
