So, you think that the parents should have the ultimate choice in what the kid learns then?

That's kind of short sighted. You might be helping the parent, but you could be destroying the child. If a parent is racist and doesn't allow for their kid to be taught anything that expresses that racism is bad, you just allowed a racist child to grow up without anything to tell them that's wrong.

It's the same thing here.

Uh, $500 purchase to be able to play the game? I'm not so sure, that's a lot of money to save.

It doesn't seem very appealing you know, I kind of want the series to end.

OoC: Needs less awkwardness.

A figured ran from the trap doors, more like holes in the bottom of the wall, and leaped up into the air. Xanaphia just happened to be doing a back flip and was at the end of it when the figure landed on the bottom, although they would be facing up, of her feet. He leaped up at the navi and slashed forward with a long one handed sword. The man was just in what looks like just common travelers gear, a second-hand cloak with visible holes and a faded color, sturdy shoes, and some sort of cloth covering his lower face.

And who's to decide whether a particular parent's values are good enough to be passed on to his children? Should he only be allowed to teach his child morality that you find tasteful, or that adheres to your sense of right and wrong?

We both lose out here, Dracoon. I'd love it if every parent brought his child up with a strong basis in Christian-inspired values - not necessarily in the Christian religion, mind you, but with a sense of what is ultimately Good according to a Judeo-Christian sensibility. You'd prefer that every child is brought up according to your hippy liberal agenda. (I'm being sarcastic, so don't jump down my throat.) Just as it is both impossible and simply wrong for me to make the call concerning what a proper education would entail, so is it wrong for anyone left of center to make that same decision. The best we can do is leave the school as a place of purely objective learning, and hope that a child grows up with enough sense to see past any racist or otherwise irrational beliefs that might have been instilling in him by his parents.

You honestly can't contend that certain values - the nature of human life, for example, as it relates to abortion, or the idea of abstinence from pre-marital sex - are necessarily wrong, but that they are simply different from your own opinion. And I don't suppose it's really fair that your stance on abortion, or your stance on pre-marital sex, should be taught to my children.

You're right, but children are still taught dinosaurs exist, some people don't want to believe in dinosaurs.

I could understand your point, if this was brought up in any other state, but I feel that legally, the teacher didn't do anything wrong.

You'd prefer that every child is brought up according to your hippy liberal agenda. (I'm being sarcastic, so don't jump down my throat.)

Good thing that note is there

Man: "Heh..."

The man imitated Forte's moves exactly, sending his own Alpha Psibeam. The man moved at the same time Forte did in a likewise manner. The two beams colided and cancled each other out and as the man began to float, he suddenly moved at Xana, half floating in the air. He stopped in front of Xana, a half smirk on his face.

Hector: "The names Hector..."

Hector suddenly dropped to the ground and arc'd his sword over his back, bringing it down towards Xana with average force.

Hector: "...which I'm sure you've heard of!"

Hector: "You wish."

As soon as the shrapnel started, Hector began his counter. A dome mirrior appeared around the shrapnel and shrapnel exploded from the dome, cancling out all the shrapnel.

Hector: "How can you not have heard of Hector, The Treasure Hunter!?"

Hector seemed sincere about the lack of his popularity. Hector moved at Pie this time, but he held his blade at an angle. In his blade both himself and Pie were in it, but he was coming from the opposite direction in his blade. He ran at Pie and slashed, but the image in his sword seemed to become reality as Hector's slash came from the opposite direction.

It isn't really about how much oil we get, it's that we don't have enough factories to turn it all into gas.

Go go EPA!

Hector: "What, you don't know me either!?"

Hector copied the effect of Pie's electrical aura, but he was pulled in by the magnetic force and as he slashed at Pie, he was too slow. Pie hit and Hector looked like he'd just been electricuted. Hector moved away as fast as he could, an arc of lightning bouncing from his sword to the ground. Hector held his sword in front of him, the blade between his eyes.

Hector: "Let's just see how good those censors are."

Mirriors appeared all around Hector and Pie. Hector ran at Pie as was reflected by every mirrior, but every image was different, Hector was coming at a different way. Which way was Hector coming from though?

Hector had planned this little trick a while ago, they were all fake. Hector was going to attack straight forward with a feint from every mirrior.

Seraphim: "I think that might be mine, but I can't really tell, it isn't glowing at all and it's just a lump to me."

Serphim held her orb out for the black mage to see, she was more intent on watching his hands than his actions.

Hector smiled as Pie tried to activate his defense. A similiar barrier came from Hector, but Hector didn't stop moving, he let the attacks collide and jumped at Pie before he could move. Hector noticed Forte heading towards them and brought his foot back, it was glowing just like Forte's palm.

Seraphim: "You shouldn't make it seem so serious, you have to remember, I'm a thief, not some pretty girl."

Seraphim glared at the black mage.

Seraphim: "I'm not rushing to my suicide for anyone. As far as I care, the damn place can sink."

Seraphim turned away from the black mage and was now looking right at Sky.

Seraphim: "At least you understand."

Seraphim's name was completely against her attitude. She was no angel, she was probably closer to a demon. She wanted life and everything it had, not to die at a young age.

Hector noticed Pie trying to copy him, sadly it wouldn't work. Hector's DNA was laced with something rather special. Unless Pie had the ability to change his DNA at will and alter his form, Hector's way of copying was far out of reach.

Hector: "Not going to work, it's the type of thing you have to be born with."

Hector watched as the glassy shapes homed in on him. He jumped into the air and smirked as they followed him. He turned around and two exact replicas ran into them, exploded on contact and cancling the shrapnel.

Note: If you have auto-update, spoilers will be visible.

Woah Sora, woah, woah, woah, you aren't special. Get used to it.

Ten: Fix it so your spoiler tags work with your layout please, if you'd said something vital, I'd be pissed.

Spoiler:
It was never said that Micky got his keyblade from the dark world. He had it before he entered the dark world, remember.

I think that each keyblade is different somehow. Sora's would either be a special one or I'm totally wrong and there are just a ton of keyblades, but Sora's is the best keyblade. Maybe the keyblade's strength is proportionate to the strength of the heart, it is easy to assume Sora's heart is the strongest out of everyones and so he'd have the strongest keyblade and be the best with it.

I don't know why Kairi had one though, it may have to do with Kairi being special. Namine is her nobody and she's pretty special...
