Yes, an egg is a stage of life too. Your point?

[quote = Silvershield]Concerning the fetus and its rights, the only reason it comes to lose those rights at birth is because the natural process of childbirth eliminates the child's ability to use those rights; it need no longer have "authority" over your body because there's to give it such power would not aid in its survival as a human animal. The rights it does have, those during gestation, are in the interest of the survival of a new human life.

Brainless parisites have rights now? So why don't insects have rights to feed off of your skin? You choose to keep living after all, it is natural for them to try to feed off of your skin/blood.

The only thing that makes us different from animals is our intelligence.

Intelligence then becomes your humanity.

So to answer your question Skydude, I personally don't think something can be considering human until it's first full thought. I have no clue when that is, but if it doesn't even have a brain, it isn't human to me.

Edit: If the brain doesn't work, it's dead to me.

Skydude, if you've ever been kicked in the nuts, you'd know that it's going to cause you to double over and cry out in pain. If your dick got pierced (while having a boner) I doubt anyone will be getting up for a long while.

Silvershield: No, because no one would have to suffer through labor/C-section/permanent damage, instead there are better options that cause no damage to anything at all. I don't condone people taking a dog into the back yard and shooting it when they could easily give it away at no cost to themselves.

Skydude: Better alternatives, and if someone is willing to pay for it, it's their money, their choice to support a leach.

That guy is one crafty liar.

I used to, because I used to be the best at every video game around town. (Yay for small towns.)

As more people played different games though, people only come and ask me for help if it's a game I've talked about before.

Star ducks down in time to avoid a fatal strike from the first slash, but the sword rips into his shoulder and blood sprays acrss the ground. Star moved out of the way to avoid any other slashes.

Star: "Nicely done..."

Star started to phase in and out of existance, in a matter of seconds, there were copies of Star all around Kire, all identical, and all putting out the same energy.

Fix'D.

I've thought similiar to what ||Bass has said, but I would've never been able to say it so well. It's not belittling the people, just the doctors and such.

However, I also think many things can be worked around with pure will power. (Not like cancer, or even the common cold.)

OoC: That's more than acceptable. Suikoden V good? I want to get it, but I'm poor.

Mel saw her opening and rushed in at Gunnar. She leaped into the air, jumped from a tree branch to go behind Gunnar and leaped straight to the ground. She jumped right towards Gunnar, hoping to catch him completely off guard with a thrust straight to his back.

Now man, normally I'd ask questions on Trillian, cause I get responces faster, but you're playing a game so I guess the question would be... Do you consider this action polite or a waste of time?

An equalizer of any sort can take off the entire overpowering thing. If you take a baseball bat to anyone and have shit to tie them down, you can do just about anything. Take their legs out, knock the wind out of them, there are a ton of things.

It would certainly lower any chance that the person can defend themselves.

I know personally, that if a woman half my size were to hit me with a bat in the back of the knee, I'm not going to be able to stay standing. Again though, if I heard anyone coming up from behind I'd turn the fuck around.

The Stars began to circle around, getting out of range of the attack. Each one ran at incredible speeds, all in the same direction. After Kire's attack, they suddenly broke and Star came from above with a mighty slash.

Star: "You know what happens when you break the laws of physics?"

Fore Dracoon then yawned a mighty yawn that his mouth enveloped the earth; Without question or confusion it was known of the being Dracoon; After Dracoon's eyes lit up with the power that would equal the sun's gaze over the world; Peace and serenity were gifted upon the world; Dracoon then rested as the sun sank into the void; Fore Dracoon then sneezed a mighty sneeze that destroyed the work that he created.

I don't see any problem with that. My life is Uncle Sam's life. I haven't done anything ilegal, I don't see what difference it would make if the government reads my e-mails. I throughily and absoloutly do not belive in any right to privacy. I don't see the word "privacy" in the constitution and to hell with the Burgher court and it's improper judicial activism. I make no attempt to hide any information from anyone because I'm not doing or saying things I shouldn't be. My name, address, and phone number are even posted publically on the interner as the reg, admin, tech, and billing contacts for acmlm.org.

If people are ashamed or embarassed about people reading things they wrote, that means they probably shouldn't have written it to begin with.

Give me liberty or give me death!

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Notice the word "liberty".

1. The condition of being free from restriction or control.
2. The right and power to act, believe, or express oneself in a manner of one's own choosing.
3. The condition of being physically and legally free from confinement, servitude, or forced labor. See Synonyms at freedom.

# Freedom from unjust or undue governmental control.
# A right or immunity to engage in certain actions without control or interference: the liberties protected by the Bill of Rights.

I don't want the government being involved in my affairs. Just because you don't mind, doesn't mean I mind.

If I were to jokingly say "I fucking hate you, you should die" in an e-mail, I might get arrested because that's a threat. Even if it's a joke, it's still a threat. I don't say it in public, because I fucking know better, but in private, I'm going to say it as it's part of my personality to joke like that. Could I just stop saying it? Sure, but I don't want to and it's not harmful to anyone.
