| Ark felt heavier than usual, he couldn't shake the feeling as he ran. He would be there soon, but what could he do if he was ambushed? He could fight an entire army, but how long would he be able to last. So many doubts flooded his mind.

The darkness around her faded and Mel opened her ears to try and hear Gunnar before he attacked. She was confident she would be able to move away from him if she heard him or felt the air around her move, but what if he used a projectile... Mel's thoughts: "Where is he..." |

| Ark didn't stop, he just kept running, going as fast as he could. He knew he should be catching up soon, he shouldn't have wasted that time eating.
Elle watched in horror as Rufus took quite the beating. She wanted them to stop, but had no clue how to show them. |

Ark didn't wait for Cedric to say anything and took off. He wished he was ahead of the army, so that he stop all of them, chances are they were going to keep going if he was there or not. |

| I wanted to point out how wrong you are and rant and probably flame, but I realized something, it isn't worth my time to type it or your time to read it and type out a response.
I would like to point something out though and bring this back to a debate. Originally posted by Skydude The government isn't forcing atheism on people, other people are, just like other people try to force different religions on people. Do you think the government really cares if there is a minute of silence in school that doesn't effect them at all? It's the kid's parents who has to bitch about and bring it to court and say it's wrong and say why it's wrong. Naturally the media focuses on it and blows it out of proportion and either says people are trying to force a religion on people or that they're trying to take religion away from people. If someone were to go and lock off the church I go to, I'd be pissed to no end, I wouldn't stand for that at all. (Unless there was some sort of serious problem inside the church like it was about to fall down, but that's implied.) Luckily, that will never happen, because I live in America and I have the choice to follow any religion I want to follow. And if I wanted to go somewhere to pray, why the hell would it be a government/state building? Why wouldn't I go to a church or my own home? I mean seriously, why the hell are people complaining? |

| Elle nodded, it was all she could do after all.
Ark grabbed Cedric by the shoulder and smiled. "Kid, plans don't always work, especially when dealing with adults. We're stubborn, set in our ways, arrogant, and always right. No matter what." Ark kept smiling. "People like me are usually just looking for a way to end everything and be happy, there have been countless times where I could've turned and ran, I could've left this all as a horrible nightmare. However... I've seen more bloodshed than any man should ever have to see, I've seen more war than you could live with. I have doubt burried so deep in my mind that I hear it daily now." Ark paused. "I know I won't die. I will kill them all if I have to, whatever I have to do to stop people like Lily and yourself from seeing more bloodshed by normal men." Ark jumped over Cedric and kept running, he held his spear out to the side of him. He knew it was going to be painful, he knew that it was going to be difficult, and he was worried. |

Star waited for Xana to swing at his jaw when he actually moved. He twisted his sword and blocked the punch with the flat of his blade. He didn't seem to be aware of the knee until he hit his stomach and made him double over. He stayed on his feet though and smashed his head against Xana's. As soon as he did, he tried to slash Xana with the range he was bound to get. |

Ark grabbed Cedric by the hand and pulled him up by it. "Do you expect me to trust such a child with the lives of them all? Someone that is bound to rage? If you don't want me to go in, kill me now and stop me from doing it. Stop me and you can go with your plan. If you want me to listen to you..." Ark stared right back into Cedric's eyes, even though Ark had seen a lot in his life, his eyes were the same as they had always been. "...grow up." |

| Star was tripped, but he flipped and landed on a hand and spun, swinging his sword in a circle around him, cutting all the tombstones around in half. He then pushed himself off the ground, still spinning, and flipped up right. | |||

| Ark didn't move for a second.
"He's right, if you go you're going to die." "Think...? A better way in... would for me to not be seen at all..." "Oh, please, there are so many guards there you won't get by them all." Ark started to walk forward, he waited at the last turn to the ruins. He had a choice, to attack and hope that the force wasn't to well organized, or to find a way to sneak in. "They're just men... this army so far hasn't been extremely good, all I need to do is have a little luck." "What do you think you can do? With so many possibilities!" Ark put the spear on his back and grabbed a medium sized rock. He rolled it from behind the corner and waited, listening. "As soon as someone comes down the corner, I just have to silence them and use their armor as a disguise..." "That is overdone and predictable. What if it's a woman soldier? "Shut up. I'm not even sure if there are women in this army." |

"See, didn't work." "Well, I have another idea." Ark stared at the troll and waited. He wanted the troll to attack, then he could convince the troll to help him out... hopefully. |

Star flash stepped behind Xana and brought his sword down from over head. He felt his heart start to beat faster and his breathing change for a second. The G-Force from doing that was incredibly damaging. |

| Star was ready this time though and he brought his knee up in defence. Their knees collided and Star jumped back before he lost his balance.
Star: "The sun will be up soon." Star looked towards the horizen. If he could live until the sun came up, he would have an advantage. Star changed his stance into a stance that looked like it had no strong point. It wasn't meant for attack and it lacked any form of defence, but Star was confident. |

Star instantly brought his sword forward and had it pointed right at Xana, if she continued her path she would skewer herself. Star: "...it warms the body..." Wind around Star started to change direction. Star: "...reassures the mind..." The wind began to carve a seal. Star: "...and helps focus the blade." A rather large seal was cut into the ground now, much bigger than the previous ones. |

| Star: "Humans do desperate things when they're about to die, sometimes they learn to master that desperation and repeat it."
The seal started to glow a creepy gray color. It's light seemed to take away the differences between parts of the ground, graves looked exactly the same in the light. Star looked at the horizon and saw the sun start to rise. |

Star didn't move and Xana hit him right in the back. He wasn't pushed forward though, he was like a statue. A powerful shock wave sent anything around him flying out of the seal and he coughed up blood. The blood began to circle over head and form a duplicate of the seal above him. |

Star's body flashed white and for a second the world seemed to shake. The light slowly collapsed on itself and a white silhouette was all that remained. The ball of light in the sky faded away and the only light they had was the rising sun. |
